Beautiful building can rent a room there. Many township and chamber meetings held there. Anderson Community TV on Warner Cable is there.

Wow, government buildings should not be this nice … or perhaps, they should all be this nice! This is the standard all should be kept too. The new Anderson Center, which was dedicated in 2007, is a phenomenal building. It’s giant, full of state-of-the-art offices and conference rooms, decorated in a way that’s both sleek modern and a reflection of its cultural and historical past and just a neat place to walk around. I came here to see the Beechmont Player’s do community theatre and I was shocked as how fantastic the stage on the Center is! Like, as good as I’ve seen in real playhouses. It’s giant, there are comfortable rows of seating, the acoustics are wonderful and I truly enjoyed myself. They also have some historical exhibits about Anderson throughout the ages. I saw one on Coney Island that was really fascinating(complete with real bathing suits from the area being modeled on posts.) This isn’t really a place to go to check out just to check out, but if you have a reason to come by, it is an impressive sight to see.

The Anderson Center is a brand spanking new building located on Five Mile Road in Anderson Township. This new building is the home to several local services and offices. These include the township administration, public works, fiscal planning, development services, fire and rescue department offices, emergency operations center, and a Hamilton County Sherrif’s office. It will also serve as the new home for the Anderson Area Chamber of Commerce and Anderson Community Television. The building also has a new beautiful theater that brings in arts to the community. This space is the new home of the Beechmont Players and the Cincinnati Chamber Orchestra. Among other affiliations with the center are Summerfair, the Anderson Community Band, and Forest –Aires Women’s Chorus. There is also a history room that shows Anderson’s past all the way to the present. This is in conjunction with the Anderson Township Historical Society. It’s really a wonder that they’ve been able to fit all of this inside one building. I think it’s an interesting idea to bring all different types of community organizations together in one place. Be sure to check out the new bike path across the street too!
