45⁄46 although located in Hyde Park Square, seems to be hidden. You wouldn’t really know it was here unless you were walking the square and happened to pop in which is exactly what I did.
Shopping local is important for so many reasons and 45⁄46 has a ton of great gifts for the man in your life! I love the shave kits with old time-​y accessories, not to mention they smelled amazing. I also loved the different assortment of unique socks, bow ties and cufflinks. Then they have the usual polos, button downs, suits, shoes, pants etc. For once men can get something that is not just a square boring pattern, but actually unique and stylish.
A great little store, a little pricey, but worth the money for the quality.

I don’t know why but interesting male socks are way too hard to come by in this city (even in the little vintage shops) but this place has them. I walked in and was greeted fairly quickly. They stopped stocking Façonnable and most of the brands aren’t my style, but the sock section is second to none. I come here to get my ties, socks and jackets. They don’t rush you or dust you off as a plebeian. The several times I’ve been, it’s almost always empty, so I’m sure anyone who walks in is a potential customer– no time for judgements by the workers. The workers have good taste and always give honest opinion. At the end of the day, the prices aren’t fair, but for a great experience and a kick-​butt accessories selection, It’s a treat to shop at 45⁄46.
