Tony’s Star Test Only

Looked for smog check in the internet. It came out and I am glad I went there. The Service is great, very professional. The price reasonable and if you have a coupon even better. Came in with out an appointment and they took care of us. I would highly recommend this place.
Before I even left they had all ready sent all my info to the DMV. It was a very pleasant experience. Thanks Adrian we are happy with the Service.

Needed to take my truck to a Star station. came here after my sister recommended Me Tony’s. Now I will highly recommend to my family and friends! Friendly, efficient and knowledgeable! Don’t waste your time anywhere else.(Almost embarrassed to say, but I 1^st went somewhere else last week and didn’t pass, they said it was running «lean»?? Wanted $ 120 to find out what it was. called my husband said to take it home… he vacuumed and cleaned air filter and hoses. Fast forward to today, I pull up and passed. Amazing.)

Came across this place when I was in a pinch waiting for my normal guy to open. Was selling an older car of mine and needed it smogged for the buyer. Called up and spoke with Adrian. Rushed on over and he was able to get the inspection done quickly and professionally. Very nice guy, great customer service. If it wasnt for moving out of state I would definitely make this my
«go to place».

Late post… This was my second time coming here. I went on a Saturday, and was expecting a wait. But I was in and out in less then 30 min. Adrian was very friendly and very professional. I know I’ll be back in 2 years when I’m due for a smog again. Will definitely recommend this place to everyone I know

just got back from my smog check and i promised the dude that i’d Unilocal the experience once i’m home. the wait time was an hour ’cause only one guy was working and that’s understandable. once it was my turn, it only took fifteen minutes for the test. the coupon online even helped with the grand total as well. fast service at a great price!

Honest down to earth guys. In and out fast, honored coupon and even though they were busy, maintained awesome customer service. Definitely coming back!

I moved recently, so went to a closer smog shop. There are coupons on line to bring cost down and I brought 2 vehicles, so I do them around the same time to get a discount. My car passed, then I brought my sons car in. He’s out of state at school, the car had been sitting, it didn’t pass. The first ‘bad’ test has to be sent in, but Adrian said he’d test and retest after work had been done to the car, so when it did pass, he’d send that result in. He works with cars all day, so he gave me 2 reasons the test might not have passed so I knew where to start. He even had people to refer me to for the work.
Next day, I bring in the car and it passed. Ka-​ching. Done. Adrian had already told me to go ahead and pay the DMV wtihout the smog test (which I would notnormally have done without having the smog check finished. That’s to avoid the late fee) That worked fine because I avoided the late pay penalty that way. Once the car was retested, they sent in the results and I had the stickers in about 20 days.
Then I bring in my F-​250 Truck, diesel. I always whine about ‘smogging’ diesel, because they can’t test for it, they give it a visual once over. But ok, it passed and that was done.
Each time I came in (4x over a month) there was room to get me right in and the testing and paperwork was fast. Only once was he finishing a guy in front of me, but there’s room to wait. Convenient off I-​5 (exit Main) and good pricing.
Will be back next year!

Friendly staff, they honored the 10 $ Discount coupon they have online.
Some guy tried to D’bag me and weasel in before me, but they honored the unspoken code of «The Line»
To get a feel of how fast it was when my car was up. The inspection finished before the torta lady 10 feet across the facility finished my torta. haha
less than 10 min on the honda civic.

He said they don’t honor the 20% coupon on Unilocal and he doesn’t know how to change it. On my car it would have been $ 13.60 off. He was willing to give me $ 10 off from the coupon on
. Funny that he was unwilling to honor the Unilocal discount for $ 3.60 more. They did not take AMEX (and charge an additional fee for credit cards), so I left without getting my car smogged.

Quick and friendly. They let you change the channel on the waiting room TV if you want. That’s not much, but it’s the little things, right?
