I usually take my kids to a different barber shop in Chula Vista. Found out that a friend of a friend had opened up this shop. Decided to take my 2 boys there, when I told them they both did not like the idea. They wanted to stick to the same barber shop they normally go to. This place is spacious, clean, and Ricky and his staff are professional. They also have a PS4, several different flat screens hanging from the roof so you can watch while getting a cut. Not to mention a pool table you can play while waiting for your turn. I highly recommend you to try this place.

The young and hip aesthetics of the location and brought me to take a look inside and the ambience encouraged me to get a cut. However, I became dishearten when the stylist kept announcing that she had another appointment waiting while I was sitting in the chair. When her next client came in I felt that the haircut became rushed and the attention to detail failed to meet my expectations — which are standard expectations for a haircut, nothing fancy. The standard haircut here seems to be the typical fade and sharp lines that are seen on the school campuses of San Diego. If you are looking for something more sophisticated, and not look like the little 8 yr. old sitting next you, look elsewhere. In addition, they do not take credit cards regardless of what the advertisement happens to be on Unilocal or the logo on their door advertising that they take all major credit cards. The haircut was $ 15, which was in my opinion heavily overpriced for an approx. six minute haircut. If you are looking for a new barbershop, as I am, I would research another location to get a cut.

It’s been 5 months and I have not been anywhere else since. My point barber has been unavailable a couple times and the crispy cut quality has not fell off. No matter who cuts my hair I have ALWAYS left a happy customer. Nice, clean, friendly atmosphere. Come to the cave, you won’t be disappointed.

Thought I would try something, new so yesterday late morning I brought my son in to get a haircut. We did arrive without an appt and wait time was not bad. They do provide a children’s play area which was great because my son was entertained and completely oblivious to time. Establishment is really clean(even bathroom. lol)There is a pool table in middle of room and a couch facing a big screen TV. I was a little hesistant due to name, «The mens cave“but we had a great experience. All barbers were really nice and respectful. Music was not extremely loud or offensive. My son got a comb over and always gets really itchy, therefore uneasy. But Daniel(barber) was quick at cutting his hair and nice during process. Thank you.

It was my first time getting a haircut in so long. My hair was long and a mess. I came in on Monday the 19th around 12pm. There were three barbers, two already taking care of customers. The third one offered to cut my hair, he said he’ll help me. He did a great job and I love the way my hair turned out. He said he doesn’t normally get to cut hair as long as mine but he was up for the challenge and willing to learn. He left It nice and clean. I can’t remember his name though. One of the guy’s name is Dani, I think and he helped out the guy that was cutting my hair. He was even teaching him a few things. But all three of them created a positive and friendly environment, and the cashier as well. I’m definitely coming here again.
