See’s Candies

Came here to check out the chocolates and get my free sample. My daughter loves chocolates so we found some milk chocolate balls that were $ 7.95 a bag. I didn’t want to spend too much on chocolate. The quality here is pretty good. The lady who gave me and my daughter samples was very nice.
The store is clean but small. Everything was easy to find. They have small packages of chocolate in the center of the store. There were so many different kinds of chocolates that had nuts, caramel, etc. The store is located at the corner of the Chula Vista mall near JC Penney.
You get a free sample of chocolate every time you come visit the store. No purchase necessary. There’s plenty of parking in front and around the store. I highly recommend stopping by. There’s something for everyone.

What separate’s See’s Candies from the rest? They have maintained the ‘simple’ and kept their prices low, compared to those gourmet chocolate stores.
See’s Candies has been around, since before I was born. I have fond memories of the small heart-​shaped Valentine’s boxes and lollipops given to me, during my elementary and secondary school days.
See’s Candies has maintained their reputation for old-​fashioned, great Customer Service, as well. I suspect the company takes good care of their employees, as I have never met a See’s employee with a bad attitude. They’re always smiling and willing to help narrow down your choices, which can be difficult to do.
Lines are still long here, but go by quickly. Grab a 2-​page menu, picturing their chocolates. You can check off from a list of Dark Chocolates with Nuts, Truffles, White Chocolates, Milk Chocolates with Nuts, Milk Chocolate without Nuts, and Specialty Pieces to «Build the ultimate box» for that special gift or select individual pieces to enjoy for yourself. There’s so much to choose from.

I love that See’s Candies still packages their candies in those familiar white boxes and paper treat bags.
Don’t forget that they have other products available other than individual chocolates, such as lollipops, brittles & toffee, peppermints, and gifts for all occasions.
If I’m ever at the Westfield Chula Vista mall, chances are you’ll catch me sneaking into See’s Candies to buy a half-​dozen individual pieces for myself to take, while I do my shopping.

The free piece of chocolate they give you is reason enough to stop in…
I’m a fan of milk chocolate (so bad, I know)… theirs is rich and pretty sweet. Very sweet actually. A small piece should be enough to satisfy.
This location is smaller than the shop in otay, but they offer pretty much the same products… Pre-​made boxes and baggies… Also seasonal wrapping. And of course the counter display full of individual pieces…
Sees also offers Sugar free items, brittle, lollipops, and peppermints…
Customer service was friendly and welcoming. Clean and busy.

It’s that time muahahah! Thank love for getting me delicious chocolates and candies from sees. So delicious and sees candies is never a let down with the classic old fashioned taste of rich chocolate!

How can you not love this place? YES, it gets a bit busy around Mothers Day, V-​Day and Christmas, but that’s for a reason. The ladies are always sweethearts here, and are always generous with the freebies. It really does help if you come prepared with what is is you want in the box, and remember that if you’re just buying a pre-​prepared box, you can skip to the front. If you’re not sure about what the hell it is you want, grab a guide and study it. That way, when you DO get to the head of the line, you’ll actually order chocolates instead of staring at the girl like you just smoked your last batch of bath salts. STOP HOLDING UP THE LINE! Just kidding. Really. Anyway, great service (be sure to check out the custom boxes– $$$, but worth it) and don’t hesitate to ask for a specific sample– They’re total angels here. Recommended.

this place has the best variety of chocolate candy, can never get enough love going there

This location was small but busy. The ladies working at the time were nice, but seemed to leave one poor girl all by herself when a very large rush of people walked in. I was able to get my candy quickly with great friendly service.
I wish the location had some more staff and maybe a little larger location, but it was fine.

This place smells like heaven. I had the most legit and sincere smile on my face as soon as I walked through the doors. All I can say is Rum Nougat… I could eat an entire box of that to myself. Chocoholic

What can I say about this place, it’s pure evilness and decadence. It’s a chocolate lovers paradise. So many good choices, what to pick, I guess I’ll have to try them all.
They always give out free samples. Lady asked if I had a sample yet, I had, but I said I won’t pass it up if you give me another, and she did, even gave me a piece that I hadn’t tried. I’m such a bad boy!
Chocolates so good that it makes my mouth water. Sure it costs about $ 16.50 for a one pound box of chocolates, but it’s the best you’ll ever have. I can have chocolates in my house and they’ll last weeks or months, but with the See’s candies, lucky if they last a week. They’re like potato chips, you can’t eat just one! Key lime truffle, oh man! 5 Stars dude!

The little old ladies with the samples give me extra. I have to have hand pack. Pecan buds by the pound.
There’re crazy folk ’round here arguing with little old ladies controlling the capacity of the store on Mother’s day, Valentine’s day and Christmas. A security guard is now added on heavy user holidays.
