Santa Cora Park

I love this park for various reasons.
The location is very private, it is near my home and is within perfect walking distance. There are never too many people here, if anything there may be too few people. It is very quiet, and has a lot to offer.
The park has tennis courts, basketball courts, a playground, and a very large grass area (I mean LARGE).
The playground is a bit strange looking, as it isn’t your average park playground. I am confused as to how children may play on it, but if it works for them then okay. Personally, I have not seen anyone using the tennis courts, yet. The basketball courts have a light switch, which I discovered by pure accident. I think this is pretty cool since they don’t have to use up electricity that isn’t being used by anyone.
There are a good number of tables with benches, as well as trash cans.
I would recommend this park to anyone in the neighborhood as well as anyone looking for a more private park setting for the family or a picnic.

VERY nice park. If you go to the top, it can turn into an impromptu dog park. Today was the first time I went there with some other dogs. The grass nice and THICK unlike a dog park. The pups ran around and loved it. Plus, we were far enough from the street that I felt comfortable, even though my hound chased someone’s soccer ball to the edge of the street. A fence would be nice, but oh well. It’s not a dog park so that’s understandable.

This is a great neighbourhood park with a huge grassy hill, basket ball court, tennis court, playground, grills & picnic tables.
