Really good service from groomers who shows how much they love animals and what they do. Always good experience. I never leave unhappy always with a smile on my face because they leave my Max looking handsome. Very nice and clean place.

I can’t believe she messed up and still tried to justify her work. I offered her a list of points to remember, but she daid she didn’t need it. Dhe asked if I wanted a poodle cut on the legs, and I told her (once again) that the most important thing was to leave the fringe on the back of her forelegs.
When I picked my dog up, it was of the first things I checked. No fringe! It took 4 months to grow it out. I won’t say she did a bad job grooming. It was her attitude that got to me. She asked me to pay in full with no consideration or acknowledgemeant of her mistake.
She billed me and I paid. If she had done what I asked and taken responsibility, as a good customer servce person (which was her all the way), she would have given me a discount, no matter how much. I did not tip her; I gave myself the discount.
I will never use her again.

I absolutely LOVE this place! But more importantly, my dogs LOVE to come here! I’ve taken them to places where you can tell they dread getting groomed (you almost have to drag them in), but Cielo is so sweet and nice that humans and fur babies alike can’t help but love her! My dogs almost jump into her lap once they see her, and you can genuinely tell Cielo loves what she does and treats our fur babies with just as much love as she would give her own!
I’d say, don’t hesitate taking your dog here! Great customer service with a warm atmosphere and affordable pricing for quality care! You definitely can’t beat that! (:

I have been bringing my Yorkie here to see Cielo for over 2 yrs. My favorite thing about Paws & Wiskers is that Cielo makes us feel like family. She takes the time to get to know her clients both human and pup. Buddy always comes home looking adorable and smelling amazing. Now with the new upgraded salon Buddy is truly getting the royal treatment. The best part is I know he is in great hands here.

After a year and a half of taking my dog Snowy here I am 100% happy with Cielo’s work. My mom and I were surprised to find that we now have to book appointments. No more walk ins. I was very excited because I know this place is here to stay and I have recommended others to take their dogs in for a grooming.
Last visit I asked if Snowy could be given a flea bath. Cielo told me that it would only be done IF he REALLY needed it because she didn’t want to charge me more for something I didn’t need. NO OTHER GROOMER SAYS THAT! I am very happy here and so is Snowy. He comes home smelling great and feels so soft!

Just took the pups to get a well deserved bath and cut. We are never disappointed when we go see Cielo, Buttons and the rest of the gang. Thanks for another great experience and especially for treating them like they’re your own.

This place is the BEST! I have had bad luck with my doggies haircuts at other locations (Petsmart, Dog gallery) but i love Paws and Whiskers. All 3 boys are happy when they come in and happy when they leave. The owner is super sweet and you can tell she loves her job and all her customers (furry or not)! This is my families new groomer!!!

I have two labs and i love bringing them here! Always such a welcoming feel. When I pick up my babies they always smell amazingly clean and soft! Staff is very friendly!

I went here because of all the other Unilocal reviews and it deserves no less than 5 stars. My Corgi is friendly to everybody, but as soon as she saw the owner her butt (‘cuz she has no tail) started shaking out of excitement like crazy!!! Cielo was very helpful in first dog tips and my baby’s cut and doggy smell were on point! I’ll upload pictures as well. I won’t take her anywhere else! Be sure to bring your vaccination records and book an appointment now! Her business is too good to accept walk-​ins, as it should be!

I love this place and will never go anywhere else. Cielo (the owner) is amazing! She gets to know your pet right in front of you before taking them back. She really has a love for animals and you can see it in her smile. She tops off the visit by giving your pet a nice treat before she sends you and your pet on your way! Now for the cut and how my dog reacted: amazing as well! Rocko (my dog) looked great, smelled great, and was happy as ever!

Loved going here and so did my sweet Furbaby Montee. Very friendly and they did a great job. Will definitley be going back. Not overly busy so you know they are able to take the time needed to groom him well.

I took my 1 year old doggie there for his first grooming and I was amazed! Really good customer service and the groomer definitely knows what she’s doing and how to interact with dogs. I would strongly recommend it!

I took my dog, Shylaah there for a bath. We were greeted with a warm welcome. Cielo did a great job with Shylaah. Shylaah was so cleaned that her coat shinned! Shylaah’s had a great time at Paws and Whiskers

My roommate and I went to this shop for our puppies first grooming session and wow. Amazing. She is absolutely amazing with dogs. My dog is normally really skittish and not trusting of people but with her he stayed still and even licked her while she groomed him. I’m so impressed with how professional and caring she is. Super happy with the entire experience and will be bringing my pup to her.

I have been coming here for about 2yrs. I have a 13yo Pomeranian that had been known to not behave the best at groomers (borderline aggressive) but Cielo had always been amazing with him. She always welcomes him into her shop and sends him home with a kiss goodbye. She really is incredibly patient and caring. They are inexpensive and Cody’s haircuts are also always on point! I would also like to mention I have since moved to Los Angeles and I have failed to find another place that compares to Paws and Whiskers. I still hold off and bring him down to San Diego to be groomed by Cielo. I will remain a loyal customer. So I brought my Little yorkie here and I was just blown away with how great they did!
The store was very organized, clean.
Honestly a great place and now my preferred dog groomer.

My 5 month old teacup yorkie was ready for her first grooming. I know the first one is the most important because it’s going to set the tone for her for the rest of her life when it comes to grooming. I went to Unilocal in search of a great groomer based on reviews. I’m so glad I went with Paws and Whiskers. The reviews are on point. They did an amazing job with Bella and I’m very please with everything from walking in the door to picking my baby up. We have found our groomer and I couldn’t be happier! (I also love that this is a family business)

On a whim my husband and I decided to take my dog to the groomers. He had never been to the groomers before and it was long over due. I called our vet and they had no openings (but it is a Saturday). I looked at Unilocal for a local but good groomers and I found Paws and Whiskers. They had about 23 reviews and had 5 stars.
I called Paws and Whiskers and found out they take walk ins till 3pm on a Saturday! I brought my dog (Benny) by at about 2pm. The staff looked him over and we talked about what we wanted to have done. I gave them my vet records and they said he would be done between 6pm-​7pm. They called at 6pm to let us know he would be done in about 30 minutes. When we arrived we were pleasantly surprised, he looked amazing and smelled wonderful! We also got some great advice to healthier dog food for his food allergies. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back to get Benny another spa day.
