Keen Kiddos Place

Let me start off by saying that finding a day care is not easy for a parent, however Keen Kiddos is a wonderful place! Silvia has been taking care of our son for 2.5 years. I immediately felt comfortable with Silvia as soon as I met her. She is very nurturing and calm, yet firm when she needs to help kids understand right from wrong. As an elementary school teacher, I am very particular on who takes care of my child and what educational activities my child is exposed to. The children are learning their letters and numbers in English and Spanish, and are practicing their coloring and printing as well! Additionally, the children have developed a love for each other which is so neat to see when I pick up my son every day. Silvia has a large playing area in her house, in addition to the backyard, where kids can play in the sand, use trucks, and use their imagination in the play house. Silvia also loves to celebrate birthdays and special holidays, which makes my son so excited for these days. If you are looking for a wonderful child centered environment, I highly recommend Silvia. I am also sending my other son as well in the fall!

Silvia has been taking care of our 2-​year-​old son for over a year and we could not imagine getting the same care for him anywhere else. He gets interaction with a tight group of his peers (who all somehow behave like perfect ladies and gentlemen when they step through her door), as well as guided play and projects with Silvia and her own wonderful family. Having been through other care providers before coming to her, there is no comparison with how well her educational curriculum is implemented. Dax almost always has a new finished art or craft when being picked up, and Silvia always has feedback on his process with each project. She is incredibly talented as an educator, and it makes us look like amazing parents when Dax impresses folks with something he learned at Keen Kiddos :).
