So not impressed with this place. Of the couple of times I’m come here the line is always long and service is slooooow. Also I had the strawberries and cream today and I can honestly say it was the worse one I’ve EVER had. Blahhhh The only reason for even getting 3 stars is because there is plenty of seating and they use real fruit. The menu is also extensive. Maybe some of the other menu items are better. I’ll give it another shot another time.

Torta w/​Tuna was good. Also tried the Turkey Tortas and it was better. The place was busy and the service was a little slow but the food turned out to be worth the wait. I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re crunched for time.
According to referrals, they recently expanded the seating inside but parking is few and full.
Five stars but only when I’m craving!

The food is good but I have GOT to take a stand against their service. These ladies are beyond incompetent TWICE I’ll be waiting for meal until the 20 minute moment where I have to be «the bad guy» turns out my meal was sitting on counter waiting for me THEY JUST NEVER CALLED MY NUMBER! Yes the place is packed but you couldn’t tell by the workers urgency

The food is good, as expected. Can’t really mess up fresh fruits and sandwiches. The service, on on the other hand, is absolutely terrible. The place is always packed which is fine but there’s only ever like 2 people working who ignore customers anyway until they decide to take orders. That’s not say the employees are all mean, they’re not, some are very nice. But they need to really improve their response time and start tending customers a but faster. There’s no way a veggie sandwich takes 30 minutes to prepare. That’s not an exaggeration, I wasn’t served for a full half hour.

I love this place! I work in Chula Vista, and this is the only place I go for lunch. I order their turkey torta with a multigreen juice or their acai bowl. Their food is fresh and delicious!

Doesn’t even deserve one star if you’re looking to come for a torta its takes more than 30 minutes, it’s insane even when they aren’t even busy, their workers are just walking around instead of getting stuff done.

I’ve never had any problems with this place until recently. I ordered a strawberries and cream and it was horrible ! The after taste was unbearable. I couldn’t finish it. The parking is also very limited.

Escamocha is amazing if you like it sweet, very sweet. I believe it’s a soy/​honey creamy sauce on fruit. Bionico is a little less sweet they use fresh OJ on this one. Regular fruit salad is always a winner!!!

Love this place! Tortas here are the bomb! Smoothies are delicious, and the fruit salad is always fresh and yummy. I always get the ham torta and the mango smoothie made with juice. Great place to take the family. I would suggest calling in since wait time can take a while but other than that best fruteria I’ve been to so far!

I was recommended to this place by a friend of mine who wanted to get takeout from here. I ordered the torta de lomo and the mango smoothie with milk and was very pleased with both. The sandwich is very fresh and pretty healthy and the smoothie was very delicious. I’ve since been here (or to the National City location) about 8 times since first trying it a few months ago. I’ve tried the sandwich de lomo and the sandwich especial and both are very good as well. I have not tried any other fruit smoothie aside from mango but will definitely try other flavors. I highly recommend Frutas. They use all-​natural, fresh ingredients. The staff is always friendly as well at both locations.

Most of their food is bomb I’ve tried the salads, tortas, sandwiches, and some juices. The only reason I don’t give it five stars is because they take forever to give you the food. So if you’re in your lunch time, you may want to call thirty minutes before you arrive because even though they tell you it’ll be ready in fifteen minutes, there has been times in where I had to wait as if I just placed my order when I got there.
