Oh my goodness I absolutely love this Taco truck! I work right next door and go there everyday to eat. The fish tacos are to die for and I eat the soup almost everyday! Everything is fresh and delicious. Everyone is so nice and I highly highly recommend this little piece of heaven.

I’ve been to this taco truck a few times, I love it! The fish tacos are delicious! I was a little disappointed the last time I went however. Their fish tacos are no longer $ 1 they are $ 1.25. When I went to order the female who took my order I’ve never seen her before she didn’t speak any English and was slightly rude she didn’t say anything to me and grabbed the chef to take my order little did she know I speak Spanish she could have just said something. So then I ordered in Spanish because the chef didn’t speak English either. The food was delicious and I didn’t wait long.

I have found my favorite fish taco truck! It’s like love at first taste! I have no idea how chain places like Rubios Fish Tacos stay in business with places like this all over San Diego
I had their famous fish tacos for $ 1.25 (I would pay $ 2.50 each after knowing how good they are now!)and I noticed they had TJ style dogs as well so I ordered one too. The gentlemen gave me some caldo to try and I’m gonna be honest, I HATE caldo and I HATE soup. They have no flavor and it’s always watered down.
Well holy crap if these guys didn’t prove me wrong! If they sold the caldo by the gallon i woulda took 2 gallons home!!! He must have sprinkled crack on it or something cause I’m hooked!!! And it’s not even on the menu! What a great start but now I’m worried that I might get let down by the food. 5 stars for the caldo alone.
Up next are the fish tacos. They had the usual cabbage, deep fried fish and homemade sauce. These were simply delicious! It’s like I couldn’t get enough of them! I would say a solid 4.5 stars.
Unfortunately I still had a TJ dog left and it didn’t look as promising as the tacos. But hey, it’s a taco truck not a hot dog stand! I dumped a few of the veggies off the top (I hate veggies) but then I remembered the caldo had veggies and it was amazing… May be these guys do know what they are doing so I took a huge bite of the dog along with some veggies on top. WTF is going on here!!! Cheap food is not supposed to taste this good!!! It’s like my mouth had a food orgasm!!! Now I can’t wait to bring the wife and kids to this place!!! The dog was a solid 5 stars!

Located in a random parking lot is the best fish taco truck in SD. $ 1 FISH TACOS are the bombbbbb. And I’m in love with their orange, green, and white sauce. Drench your tacos with that shit!!!

I drive from Fashion Valley all the way down to this food truck just for the tacos. That is one good taco that is TOTALLY worth the drive.
Their fish tacos are ridiculously inexpensive, their variety is great. My favorite is actually the octopus tacos. Always tender, never chewy. And their churros have cajeta in the middle, which makes them even better. They go great with coffee or tea by the way. And of course their fish tacos are always great every time. Come with cabbage, tomatoes, and their secret sauce. Yumm-​O!
I love the fact that they give you the broth cup of soup with every meal, and have great salsas to go with your tacos.
For less than $ 5 your tummy will be delighted with you as well as your taste buds.

–I usually get 3 regular fried fish tacos, one cup of free soup, and one churro!
–The churro is not your normal churro, it’s stuffed with cateja — Mexican confection of thickened syrup usually made of sweetened caramelised milk. It takes churros to the next level! A must try!
–The soup is free but you have to ask for it! It comes out really hot, so give it some time. Its a vegetable soup with really good broth, carrots, tomatoes, onions and other yummy things. Add a squeeze of lime and a little hot sauce to kick it up a notch. I learned this from watching people lol.
–They have like 8 hot sauces and 4 other homemade sauces. For hot sauces I use the blue cap one, it’s flavorful and not too spicy! sometimes there out cause it’s so good! For the homemade sauces add the green one! It has good flavor!
–My fish taco always has 3 – 4 limes squeezed on it, some of the blue cap hot sauce, and some of the green sauce near the limes! TRY IT!
–There’s a little seating area by the cheap clothing store with tables and chairs!

This place was soooo good! My husband works nearby and had told me about this food truck and we finally went together. The fish tacos are AMAZING! They are only $ 1 and a good size. I ordered a fish taco and a shrimp ceviche tostada and I was full. My husband ordered two fish tacos and that was also enough for him. All of that plus a can of soda came out to $ 7 and we left feeling full and satisfied. Will definitely be back, I’m already craving their tacos again. Also, when you order, they give you some kind of soup/​consommé in a cup for free. It was a bit salty but tasted good nevertheless. You should definitely check it out if you are nearby.

My co-​worker Ricardo recommended this seafood truck. Tried just about all the seafood trucks in the south bay and still this Fish Tacos Rock.

Best fish tacos I’ve ever had. I love the fact that the fish is not fried in lard and are only $ 1.25. Super deal! The habanero sauce they make is the best hot sauce I’ve had. They really need to bottle it up and start selling that. I am looking forward to going there again next weekend.

Fish tacos are money I tried the shrimp tacos but they weren’t up to par. I ordered a shrimp cocktail and boy was it good and they even provided free fish soup. Super cheap and they accept cc too.

You know I really wish this truck was parked in my back yard! Partly because fish tacos have got to me one of my flavorite things to eat among everything else in this world.
I came to el mariscon a a rec from one of my employees. $ 1 fish tacos and she said the best consume in town. I must say the tacos are pretty damn good. The shrimp ceviche was just right. I happened to have a sweet tooth after my meal and ordered their churro and it was amazing! It had caramel in it. Next time I’m going to ask them to not dip it In sugar since the caramel is so sweet. But overall everything was good.
I usually go to mariscos German when I feel like eating seafood lunch trucks but the fish tacos here don’t have as much breading. You have to ask for the consume or you won’t get it. (it has a ton of salt so save it for your meal and use it as a condiment). Also there is only like 3 tables so standing is usually how you eat. When in Rome…

the food was outstanding! the best i ever had here in san diego, plus you can not beat the price. 1. oo plus tax for a fish taco. my favorite was the hot shrimp taco (camaron enchilado) the best! even though its a food truck, it’s still worth the drive, plus i hear they are opening a restaurant by sdsu! im hooked on this place!

We tried this place for the first time and I can say it was excellent and cheap.

This place used to be really good but the last few times I went here you could tell they didn’t make the fish fresh like they used to. They had it waiting to serve you, already fried, it just wasn’t the same at all.

Damn good, tijuana/​ensenada/​rosarito style. Seriously you have to try em, the fish taco is 99 cents and good. Its as close as it gets to going over to rosarito or ensenada except you dont get a beach, a stray dog, a guy playing guitar, and the smell of the ocean (makes me feel like going) anyway yeah, if you havent ate here stop by and try it. Everything is delicious, the fish taco, the shrimp taco, taco gobernador, tostadas de ceviche, marlin taco, taco de pargo (my fav), cocktel de camaron, and if you like oysters they got that too and theyre fresh and yummy. Also if you like spice food try the taco de camaron enchilado (spice shrimp taco) you can usually tell when they make this one because you can smell the chile and even though your standing outside you’ll be like damn that burns my nose hahaha! SO YEAH! Try it, try everything, dont be afraid to try something new, how do you know you dont like it unless you try it? I give em 5 starts for taste, service, price, and everything else.

My mom brought me here… my mom. I had no idea she knew what a taco truck was, not to mention that she had eaten their food before.
So there I stood, in my work skirt and 5 inch stilettos ordering from a seafood taco truck inside a parking lot which is in close proximity to a Walmart. Yeah, I stood out. Yay for not fitting in! =P
I ordered the fish burrito and my mom got 2 fish tacos, we got complimentary stock/​broth with veggies in little cups, 2 diet cokes… we paid a grand total of $ 8 (no tax)

When I got my burrito it was HUGE! I had never seen something so big before. My eyes were like this: O_​_​O
My mom said, «This isn’t a burrito… it’s a burrote» since the –ito ending is diminutive.
The guy joked that this was their «small burrito» bahaha
I want to try some of their other items so I will definitely come back and best of all, it’s so cheap! :D
