Ask for fresh churros to be made because we got ours from the premade selection and they were very hard to bite! It was funny watching my nephew tear through his tough outside dough! Luckily, I spoke Spanish because the lady working didn’t understand us very well… just thought I’d mention that for those of you that don’t speak Spanish. Okay flavor but I think I’m spoiled by Xooro!

The first place where I had Tostiloco’s…awesome stuff. I drive 30 minutes for it, yummmm. It is the only thing I’ve had here.

I usually purchase my churros at Costco… A friend of mine told me that the churros at Costco weren’t authentic tasting. I did a search and discovered a place called Churreria located in Chula Vista Center. The name of the place sounds like«churro». I never noticed the place before when I shopped at the mall. Churreria is a small mom and pop store. They sell churros, candies, horchata drinks and other sweet goodies. I decided to purchase two different churros… One was a regular churro and the other was a caramel filled churro. The caramel filling was warm which added to the taste. Both tasted really fresh and filled that churro craving. All the churros are made daily and not frozen. If your around the area make sure to check out Churreria and pick up a churro.
