The service is really slow and bad we order two plates of birria and an order of tacos for the kids we got our plates but the tacos never came and we were done and still never got that order. My lemonade had an awkward taste to it like toilet water or something. The birria de chivo didn’t even taste all that great ive had better from other places in north county.

This used to be my favorite, go-​to place for Birria, my last two experiences here had me thinking twice.
Before we were greeted on entering and there was always quick service. The food is great and I understand if it’s busy it may take longer, which is not a problem for me.
On Friday, my parents and I has dinner here, we had a female waitress, she did not greet us, only offered drinks. After about 15−20mins she took our order… still no drinks. After about 30mins, she brought our drinks. A very nice gentlemen then brought me my food, he asked if my parents had ordered anything, THE WAITRESS WAS HIDING FROM MY LINE OF SIGHT while telling the guy about our order. She did not ONCE check on us or let us know that we would have a new server.
The young man did a wonderful job once the lady left.
From previous visits I had only seen all male staff and have never had an issue with them.
I really hope that was a one time event but I MAY give it another try

Ordered rice and a half order of birria. Décor is nice. Many quotes on the wall. Salsa was yummy. Tortillas were small but quality. I took a star off cause they didn’t have change for me. It was Sunday and banks are closed but they should always have plenty of change.

Tasty. The birria del res was tender and good. Queso fundido was wonderful. Good eating. Didn’t try the goat. Maybe next time?

Be careful when you order meat. My mother became sick from eating Birria there today. They did notice that the meat was darker than usual, not sure if it was left out and reheated or what. My grandmother ate menudo and that was fine.

Met my girlfriends for a quick bday celebration. I order 2 Birria tacos de Res which were delicious. Service was fast and attentive. Definitely will try to come back soon with my family.

Came on a Sunday around 12:30 pm, called before hand to see how long the wait was they said 10 minutes. They put our name on the list. Took over an hour to get seated. After they took our order it took another 40 min. to get our food. Birria was not very flavorful and there was not a whole lot of meat, mostly just broth. Not a fan of this place.

First time in this place, on a Sunday waiting time was 15mins or so. Parking is a struggle due to the way shopping center is build. We had to park out on street. Super busy. Waiters seem to be on top of it because of people waiting out side. Very nice personal and attend well. Menu is not that big simple and straight to what they sell «Birria». The way the location is set up looks nice traditional and clean. Organized running place. WOW! Mariachi just came in. LOVED IT. VERY TRADITIONAL.

Nothing special. Let’s just say i wasn’t transported to Jalisco if even for a moment. The staff was nice i guess. Quick to take my order and quick to give me my check. The service in between leaves much to be desired. I was served a cold taco and no one from the staff ever looked up or even in the vicinity. We’ve all been there, where short of screaming and raising your hand the server/​s seem either busy or purposely ignoring you. That’s what i felt. The menudo was ok. Much like my opening line, nothing special! Regretted my decision to go here instead of Aqui es Texcoco which is about 100 feet from here.

Birria was good, quesadilla de birria was awesome, very small portion of beans, tortillas were handmade, great décor– overall a good solid four stars. Definitely a must try.

The salsa is good, el quesa-​birria está bueno. The menudo rojo is good as well. Service is good. Good food.

Well to becoming one of my favorite spots. Great friendly service, very reasonable prices. Will be back.

I went with my husband and son because it looked nice and clean. First we weren’t greeted by anyone we sat ourselves, then after we ordered our food they forgot to add clams to my husbands clamato, forgot to bring me my water and took forever to bring my sons Jamaica and even longer to bring his PLAIN quesadilla. The chivo birria was plain no flavor and the meat was hard, I had to add tons of lemon to give it flavor, my husbands birria de res was also flavorless and plain the meat was also hard… They also forgot to bring us tortillas we had to ask for them… The best part was the tajin around the rim from our clamatos. This place is definitely not worth it for the price 50dlls for flavorless food never coming back here again!!!
Birrieria don Rafa is 1000x better!

Estaba muy lleno cuando llegamos. No había parking me estacione como a dos cuadras. Al último me fui y mi papa de quedó y ordenó para llevar. Pidió machito y costilla de res. Y le dieron puro machito!!! Mi papa se dio cuenta hasta que llegó a ala casa. Yo pienso que fue muy deacortez de los cocineros no haber puesto atención a la orden.

La comida es buena. El servicio de mesero fue muy amable, lo unico es que tardaron muchisimo para pedir la orden y para traerla, mi esposo acabo de comer y aun no me traian mi orden.

I came in here on Sunday around 11:30AM so it was very busy and I thought I was going to be a long wait. We signed up for the wait list and there were 4 people ahead of us. The hostess told us that it would only take 15 min. at the most. I could not believe it but sure and enough in 10min we were seated. I was very impress about it. Food wise they have many options from tacos, sopes and quesadillas. But of course the birria is theirs speciality. I order a ½ order of birria de res (Pretty big order anyway) it comes with fresh home made tortillas (delicious) I order like two more rounds of tortillas. They are little and addicting. I was very satisfied with my order. I forgot to mention that on Sundays they have a live mariachi band!!! I think this place will be my next Sunday morning breakfast!

Les falta mucho para tener un buen platillo de birria dos beses estado ahí y pensé k quizás era yo el k tenía el paladar mal ese día, pero lo comprobé hoy
Tan mal sabor la birria de chivo súper dura y parecía recalentado NO lo recomiendo como un buen lugar

I Had dinner there on Saturday (⁹⁄₁₉), went with parents, brother and his girlfriend. My dad was very excited because he said TV commercials say its the best Birria there is.
customer service is great, no complains there. I was bothered by flies all over the place. It was a hot day and the AC was not on just a ceiling fan.
I had the 3 sopes, potato, beans, rajas. The taste was regular nothing popped out, I’ve had better at home. serving size is small for the price. Personally nothing to be excited about, I probably never go back.
My parents on the other hand had lots to say about the food. Dad had the Chivo birria, he said it was very bad, meat was hard, lacked flavor, it smelled. super small portions. Tortillas were hard not hand made or made on the spot, you could tell they were reheated in microwave. Mom had the 3 tostadas, beef, ground beef, beans. she couldn’t even eat the beef it was too hard. both parents very displeased with the food. and this is jut a few things they said… I am being nice about my comments.
They have many pictures on the wall with famous singers, I really don’t know how… food sucks there…
all in all we are not going back for seconds…
Dad did mention the customer service was very good, that he felt bad because they didn’t have good cooks!!!

The food is so good honestly we loved this place. BUT the last time that we went (8−30−15) they have flys (moscas) all over the food/​drinks something really disgusting I even got sick by thinking about that afterwards. I told the cashier but the answer was «oh maybe cause we have plants outside»… Maybe is good idea order to go instead…

La mañana del día de hoy tuve oportunidad de ir a desayunar a dicho lugar, en busca de un lugar donde pudiera desayunar como si estuviera en México, pedí la orden de birria de res y a mi gusto le faltó un poco de sabor ya que sabía mucho a agua aún que cabe mencionar que la carne estaba muy rica, de igual forma ordené un taco de lengua el cual me encantó por lo que decidí ordenar una quesadilla de lenguas que me gustó aún más, todo esto lo acompañé con un refresco de sangría, si gustan algo muy mexicano y tienen la oportunidad vayan.

Not good at all, the food doesn’t have any flavor, it’s my third time here and still the same I don’t mind paying when is good but for this is expensive
They have good customer service but the food is bad.
* I had meet sopes and they were al greasy and the meet was just pure fat.
* cheese quesadilla horrible
*pozole no flavor
*the borria fatty and no flavor either

Buenisimo el lugar! Servicio muy rapido, definitivamente regresaria por otra quesadilla, una orden de guacamole, queso fundido con chorizo y ovio la orden de birtia de reS! Ame la comida y amo comer lol

Came for the first time the other day and here’s what I have to say…
Customer service — Awesome! From the moment we walked in we were greeted and asked to sit. We passed on that since we wanted it to go.
Cleansiness — Great. Not one dirty table in sight. Floors where clean and clutter free
Atmosphere — Relaxing and very authentic. Their patio seating I’d really great despite being located off the main road
Food– This is where my 4 comes into play. It was good don’t get me wrong but I’ve had better. They have both goat and beef birria which is good because you dnt have that option at most places. I feel it’s more on the bland side, needed a bit more flavor. I was good after adding more lime and chilli peppers.
Price — Affordable.
Parking– limited. It’s a small strip plaza
Additional — Great for big crowds, child friendly and more than Jst birria to choose from.
I’ll be back.

The Birria de Chivo
The chivo birria was so yummy and the corn quesadilla well the only thing I can say is that my tummy was having a party

The restaurant is very authentic, from the outdoor seating win the Equipales (handcrafted rustic pigskin chairs) to the main lobby with remarkable paintings and folkloric colors.
They have beef and goat birria served with baked beans and handmade tortillas.
I love their seasoning/​flavor, that’s why I’ve dined here about three times and also ordered togo once.
Although the service needs some improvement, like greeting people when they walk in or even inviting them to seat theirselves. Also servers need more training like taking orders correctly and making sure that is exactly what they serve back to the customer.
Once I was charged for an item I didn’t get. Also, in two different occasions was charged regular price for promotional items. Don’t get me wrong, I’ll come back for sure. Ills just put attention to all these details and hope for a better experience.
