Extreme Action Park

This is a good little rink for casual skating. Have tried practicing here before for derby and the main concern with it was the center pillars being a potential safety hazard during regular derby practices. However, I do stress that it is great for casual skate sessions and a good little family rink out in Chocowinity. The skate floor is painted/​smooth concrete and skate rentals can be a little high on weekend nights ($ 7 for regular skates, a little more for speed skates). This rink always has a higher ratio of more children and teens than adults on any night.
If you’re looking for it though, don’t use Google maps.
A few years ago, when we first started skating there, we got hopelessly lost at night and the place in which Google said it would be was an open field in Chocowinity on Highway 17 South going towards Craven County. So avoid Google directions. Use Map Quest instead.
