Drove to chino hills to try their thai food. The restaurant was smaller than i thought. I knew what to get since i had read many Unilocal reviews here. I tried the pad see ew and the crying tiger and also ordered the green curry in the end. It was a lot of food. The pad see ew was so delicious. It had this smokey taste in the end and it was so chewy and flavorful. Also, i liked the vegetables in the pad see ew. The crying tiger was good in that the sauce was so unique. It was sweet and sour and had this kick in the end. The green curry was my favorite. I was so so full, but im so glad i ordered this curry. It was so mild and so savory. And it warmed my stomach and it was so so creamy and cozy. I really liked this curry. Took most of it togo though. Good hole in the wall thai restaurant. Service was attentive and the place was clean. Had a pleasant experience.

The best Thai food I found in the area. Tom Yum Soup is just PERFECT. Definitely recommend if you like Thai food.

The wife wanted Thai food so off we went, ordered the the cream cheese wontons and they were great. Next was the crying tiger and that was my favorite, the chicken Pad Thai was real good too. Found a little hole in the wall secret in Chino Hills, will be back. No beer or wine is the only minus I cold find, the staff was real nice and food came out fast.

Best Thai in town, in my opinion. Food is consistently prepared well and the service is friendly. Prices are reasonable and portions are generous.

First time coming here(on my lunch break)…and I was disappointed. This was literally the lunch from hell. First off my pad see ew was burned. Tasted horrible and believe me I tried eating it because I was hungry. The fried rice was ok but damn my pad se eww. I was so disappointed… I wanted some Thai food. We told the lady it was awful and she offered something else… but we had no time because they took so long to give us our food. Oh then we were supposedly getting the lunch menu and when we got the bill it was 60.00! It was almost comical the way the whole lunch was going. We left hungry and had to drive to jack in the box for tacos!!! Don’t think I will be back.

#3 on my worst restaurant experiences list. My bestie and I came here for lunch and the place is clean and service was nice… but there was only ONE waitress on a Friday afternoon. We ordered off the lunch menu and requested to have fried rice instead of salad and egg rolls. My fiends food came first and her pad see ew was sooo burnt she couldn’t eat it. My food took another 10 mins to get andl she brought us a whole plate of fried rice instead of the side as a part of the lunch special(probably a language barrier… cant do much about that) but food tasting burnt UNACCEPTABLE!!! When I brought it to the waitresses attention she offered to take it off the bill. Additionally, I ordered the same to go… also burnt tasting(she also removed my to go order from the bill. Then to add insult to injury… the bill came out to $ 40 for fried rice and egg rolls… i will not be returning… So if they would have remained on the bill… it would have $ 60!!! OUTRAGEOUS… i thought we ordered the lunch special? I was so frustrated we paid the tab and raced back to work!!! Definitely won’t be returning

I came here on a Saturday night and the restaurant was empty. Not sure if they were just having an off day. I ordered a tom yum soup, Thai fried rice with chicken, and pad kee mow. The pad kee mow was the best out of the three. It was actually pretty spicy so be sure to ask them to change the level of the spiciness to your liking. My only complaint is that there were WAY too many onions. I think there were more onions than noodles! The tom yum soup tasted plain and was easily forgettable. Lastly, the fried ice was disappointing and they also added too many onions to that dish. There are no free refills for the Thai tea :( Overall, it was about 10 dollars a dish. I have had better Thai food elsewhere(I recommend Presidental Thai in Rowland Heights) so I don’t think I will be returning anytime soon.

My mom and dad die over this place. It’s their fave. However, I am the reviewer & this place is most definitely not my fave. I disagree with the reviewer below & I insist this IS like your typical american thai place. Everything I’ve ordered here has been really heavy on the oil & too light on the meat/vegetables. For example, the thai tea is basically all condensed milk & barely any tea. I must admit the owners care about their customers. The girls here are friendly & welcoming. I wouldn’t say the service is anything above average, but they do make sure they great you as your enter the restaurant. Parking is easy & it’s not hidden at all. Not a surprise. Is parking an issue anywhere in Chino Hills? Its on the corner of CH Pkwy & Grand Ave. I probably will be back when I have to visit my parents :/

This place is surprisingly good! Thai food was actually yummy, portions were decent, price was okay. However, they do not serve Tom Yum for their soup, instead opting for a cheap, more European-style light vegetable broth. Décor is okay, parking lot has plenty of space, but the inside is definitely grimy. The tables feel like they’re slightly sticky. I might come back for the lunch special, and only if I was really, really craving Thai. I wouldn’t want to eat here again, but takeout might be an option.

I came to this Thai restaurant one day for lunch because I was craving yellow curry and I saw that Thai Corner had a really good deal for lunch. The lunch special I ordered was the Yellow Chicken Curry. It came with a side of white rice, salad, soup, cream cheese wonton, and thai tea. So much food! Our server was very friendly and attentive! My food was really good and hit the spot. My friend ordered the beef panang and said he really enjoyed his food too. We both agreed we’d go back if we were ever in the mood for Thai food. I read that the Crying Tiger is really good here, can’t wait to go back and order that next time! I’d recommend this place to anyone craving Thai, especially for their lunch specials!

It’s pretty good here. The papaya salad is generous. It’s kind of sour, a little more than I would prefer. The yellow curry comes with rice and it is smooth and taste delicious. The pad see yew is delicious and had that«fire» taste to it. Overall, nice restaurant. It doesn’t compare to the more popular ones but it does the job.

Delicious food! My brother in law could not stop raving about how satisfied he was, and he is not an easy man to please at times. We ordered the chicken pad Thai, yellow curry, basil beef stir fry. The rice was warm and soft with a pleasing aroma. The highlight of the meal was definitely the yellow curry with its creamy taste and smooth finish. The basil beef was not as spicy as I had anticipated but had good flavor overall. In my opinion the chicken pad this was slightly slimy for my pallet warranting the 4 stars. Service was warm, receptive, and welcoming. Maybe a little too much hahaha. We did spemd a decent amount of time speaking about the owner’s daughter and how she needs driving lessons. Overall a very good experience. I will come back here again.

First time here… Instantly we were greeted with a smile. The restaurant is clean and decorated well. Choices on the menu were abundant and plenty to choose from. Most items are authentic thai food. So this isnt your typical american thai place. Lastly parking was easy to find and in a quiet corner. Good job thai corner. We will def be back.

Favorite thai restaurant. I’ve been coming here for years, and I’ve never had a disappointing meal. I fell in love with their pad thai the first time I had it and I always compare their pad thai to other restaurants. Pad thai My favorite, so that’s a given. Pad see ew Just as amazing — incredible flavor. Yellow Curry I asked for a non-spicy curry and the owner recommended this one. BESTTHAICURRY I’VEEVERHAD. I am in love with this dish. The consistency was creamy yet light. The thai curry has a sweet note to it, which I absolutely love. My new favorite thai curry dish. It may look small, but don’t let that deceive you because I finished about half and was full. Thai Fried Rice The bf ordered this and he loved how much beef they gave! Not only did they give a lot, the beef quality was good too! He ordered level 7 spice on a a scale of 1 – 10 and said it was pretty damn spicy. Thai places don’t kid around. He loved the heat! They give huge portions for the price! The owner is incredibly nice too. Super sweet and welcoming. I would give 4 stars for the food, but that extra 1 star is for owner. She’s incredible! She would bring out water without us asking for it, she gave us an extra bowl of soup even when I shared an entrée, and most importantly, she’s always smiling and happy. LUNCHSPECIALFOR7.95TUESDAY-FRIDAY. It comes with an entrée, soup, and your choice of Thai ice tea or Thai coffee! What a steal!

I have betrayed my normal Thai place by coming here… But this place makes a pretty mean Pad Kee Mow. You can choose the level of spiciness and I left it to the waitress/chef to know. I assumed it started off with a medium, but perhaps not. They cook it with a lot of dried chilies(for some reason something I don’t get along with as well when it comes to chili/spice), so I was sweating because on top of that, I could not resist their wonderful fish sauce with chilies, or prik nam pla… It burned so good! Their sauce is so beautiful, not too fishy and sweeter and yes, it was hot. The seeds all floated out, sprinkling your food. The Pad Kee Mow had some wok heat, huge portions and gave you generous chunks of chicken. My boyfriend like this more than his BBQ Chicken, which had a boiled or baked texture so that the meat was soft and fell apart. I personally do not prefer that texture as I like the normal BBQ texture, but he thought it was ok. I think we both still preferred our regular Thai place for that dish, but agreed this Pad Kee Mow was pretty damn good. Waitress was super nice and kept refilling my water and apparently noticed she had overestimated my spice tolerance, apologized but we both agreed that their prik nam pla was REALLY bomb. It was moderately priced for dinner, but it’s probably worth coming here for lunch special next time!

This a great little Thai restaurant in the Stater Brothers shopping center. I’ve driven by this place for years and finally headed in. It small but not real small and set up nicely. Clean environment, friendly staff and a surprisingly large menu, First time here so I stayed with my Thai food standards Chicken Pad Thai and Beef Salad, The Beef Salad was larger and more hearty than expected. Good call on the medium spicy it had just enough zip. Any hotter could have been too much of a good thing. Awesome dish. The Chicken Pad Thai was a larger portion than expected too. The Pad Thai was pretty good but I ain’t gonna lie, I’ve have had better. Bottom line is I will be back and I will highly recommend the Beef Salad.

The fiancé and I have been here a handful of times, and each time the service and food have been consistently delicious. We usually order the pad woon sen and pad see ew. They tend to give more meat rather than shrimp on pad see ew. Parking is plentiful. Try it!

I’m a regular here, love their service, super friendly. Some quick food reviews! My favorite stuff here: Thai egg rolls! — Best I’ve ever had! Pad sieu — Great balance of flavors Tom kha kai– lemongrass soup with coconut milk and mushroom Tom yum — lemongrass soup with mushrooms (The last two soups, my friend said they taste like they did when he had them in Thailand!!) The Thai tea here — OMG! So good. They make it from fresh tea leaves! No tea bags! Not big on their Pad Thai.(They lose a star for this). That’s usually what I judge a Thai place based on and here it’s average. It varies every time I order it. One time it had onions in it(gross) and another time chunks of garlic.
