Los Mariachis #2

Food here is excellent. Wish I could say the same for service. Last few times I was here, seating and service seemed to be an afterthought. Host threw my menu on the table. Waiter didn’t bring the drink I requested. Dropped off my order and left so quickly I never had the chance to ask for a correction. He also never offered refills or checked to see if everything was good. I ate half my dinner. (Portions are large. Good value-​no problems in
that regard). The waiter’s primary interest seemed to be taking my money and rushing me out of there. Mind you, it wasn’t busy. I paid my check. No offer of take out box. However, the waiter did come back and attempted, right in front of me, to take my change! I’d broken a large bill. Pretty sure I wasn’t going to leave a tip larger than what my meal cost. Especially not for the (non) service I received.
This place used to be awesome. Friendly staff and great food. Not sure what’s happened here. One bad day, could be just a fluke. Several? Afraid some changes will need to take place before I’ll return. The greatest food in the world does not make up for lousy service.

Had the chicken quesadilla deluxe and it was not what I expected. However, I absolutely loved it. The cheese was melted to perfection and mixed extremely well with my food. Great service too.
