My roommate and I waited a short while for our turn to order and had a few questions to ask the cashier once we got to the front. We simply asked if we had to pay extra for each topping if we were to order a large pizza. The cashier said, «Yes» and disappointment struck us. The cashier was quick(VERYQUICK) to respond with a sassy comment… «We’re not Domino’s. We’re artisan pizza.» An extremely uncalled for statement. We ordered one of the x-large pizzas, it being $ 6 off because we are students. Our total came out to $ 22.04, so split that by two and we each had to pay $ 11.02. My roommate paid with her debit card and didn’t want to tip the cashier. She cancelled the transaction after she put in the tip amount so she wouldn’t have to give any extra money. Once her transaction went through($ 11.02, just to remind you,) the cashier takes out $ 2 from the cash register and puts it in the tip jar!!! What!!! My roommate didn’t want to give any tip at all! We were both super confused by that. The pizza was pretty good but the rude service made us complain the entire time during our dine-in.

I made a Unilocal account just to write this review and to give this employee the recognition he deserves. Tonight I ordered pizza for delivery from Woodstocks using their very convenient online ordering option. I received my order with no mistakes. Two pizzas with two sides of ranch… Shocker! I actually got my 2 sides of ranch which rarely ever happens at other places. I won’t name any names. Pizza was nice and hot when it arrived, delivery was right on time like always(sometimes even sooner than they estimate). Unfortunately I didn’t get the delivery boys name, but he was so friendly/personable and as our 3 dogs(two little ones and a big one) came running to the door barking after he knocked(which usually embarrasses me as I feel bad for the delivery person) he promptly reassured me how much he loves animals and pulled out dog treats for each of my dogs! I was very impressed and my dogs understandably were very pleased. This was on 11/14/2015 around 4pm when I ordered.

If you’re one of the people who thinks the pizza at Woodstocks is horrible then you should probably try brushing your teeth because you obviously have an issue with your tastebuds. «Eeeeehhhh, there was an extra olive on my pizza that I didn’t want.» No one cares dude. This pizza is amazing. Yes, it’s expensive but it’s only a few dollars more than other HIGHQUALITY pizza places. I say high quality because anyone can go to Little Ceaesars and get a shoebox with cheese on it for 5 dollars. Cool, if you’re broke. For those of us who don’t want a mixture of plastic, cardboard and pigeon in our stomachs, Woodstocks makes some of the best pizza in town with Celestinos being their only rival in my opinion. They have wheat crust for those of us who want to pretend we’re somehow being healthy as we crush an entire large pizza to ourselves. At least the wheat crust tastes really good so that’s always a plus. Their pizza choices are full of amazing toppings and everything always tastes fresh. Sometimes the wait can be a little longer than you’d like but that’s because it’s popular and there are always people ordering. Plus, if you’re impatient, order online ahead of time and then stroll in like a boss and just pick it up. While waiting you can also press the cool«water» button on the drink machine and hydrate yourself or get a pitcher of beer and watch the games. There’s always a ton of seating so you can probably hide in the corner somewhere if you’re a loner as well. «Ohhhhh my god, one of the workers was singing in the back!» Guess what, no one care about that either. The people working are busy making food, it doesn’t matter if they’re joking around or singing. Let them design the art that is pizza while you stick to posting selfies on instagram. Woodstocks is great, don’t listen to the haters on here who are too bored with their lives to appreciate good pizza. Just be prepared to wait 5 minutes longer than rival pizza places and spend 5 dollars more. The quality is worth it though and the atmosphere is busy yet welcoming at the same time. 5 stars!

Got the meat orgy with garlic sauce. Took a little while to deliver but it was totally worth it.

I made the mistake of forgetting how horrible the pizza is here. I just wanted a simple cheese pizza and ordered extra cheese because as usual I feel I have to order extra cheese to actually get a decent amount of cheese… Well I think someone missed that because my pizza was simply garbage. Barely enough cheese to cover the crappy tasting pizza sauce. Not to mention $ 21.55 thrown down the drain. On a better note the guy that took my order was nice.

You may have the best food, but if you don’t care about the customer, then you might as well go out of business. The manager was rude and disrespectful. A buddy of mine ordered pizza and drinks, but they charged him more even though it was happy hour. The manager came over and was a dick about it. Funny thing was, it happened to me but I got cleared up quickly. The only thing that came to mind was when my buddy went up to order and got screwed over, it was because he was not white. I hope they fire this guy who can’t keep his prejudice in check. Or maybe this is the environment Woodstock want’s to promote. Whatever it may be, I hope more people come out and review their experience to show others this place treats people like crap, especially if you are different.

Worst customer experience. Jenna took my order and gave me a ten minute estimate for my personal pizza. Forty minutes later I still did not have my pizza and asked the manger, Alex, for a refund. Jenna was very resilient to help.

I love pizza! I love Woodstocks!!! This has been my favorite pizza place in Chico since high school. They have never let me down. What makes me really happy is that they deliver all the way on the outside of town, which other pizza places won’t do. Eating there with beer on tap is also an enjoyable experience since its downtown.

I love woodstocks pizza for pretty much two reasons — fresh doubly soft pillowy crust and vegan cheese!!! I get the Grateful Veg with vegan cheese and add garlic. It’s pretty dang delicious. They’re not very cheap but there’s really nowhere else in town to get vegan cheese on your pizza so it’s well worth it. They recently upgraded their beer offerings with about 10 beers on tap(estimating). The parlor itself is very large and spacious with a kids quarter machine area. They have a large side room that is sectioned off that would be good for private gatherings or large groups. I definitely recommend woodstocks when you’re visiting Chico and looking for a good pizza. Unless you prefer thin crispy crust. I don’t. Chewy doughy bread crust with lotsa carbs… mmmm…woooodstoooocks…

It sucks, this used to be one of my go-to pizza places, but hen the manager and her employees started calling me transphobic slurs and now I’m changing my mind. NOTONLY were they blatantly disrespectful to the trans community, but they were also being homophobic to the gay couple we were sitting with. I want to go to a place where I can eat food and not worry about my and my friends safety. Hope this review helps some of you looking for a safe place to eat! :)

Woodstock’s never disappoints… the staff is nice & responsive. We ordered the Meat Orgy & custom ordered a Woodstock’s original«Upper Park» from when my boyfriend worked there in college in the 80’s. The boys had custom sodas from their fun Coca Cola machine & we had a pitcher of SN Old Chico. We took home a cinnamon apple bread for dessert!!! #ToDieFor #JustOrderIt

1⁄26. I am updating my review and rating from an initial 1 star. I was contacted by the restaurant’s management and they are handling this issue below for me. While I’m still disappointed by the initial experience, I truly appreciate a business that puts a little effort into making things right and«hearing» their customers(because yes, this is regarding a free pizza, but I DO often come in as a paying customer). Sounds like they are even going to talk about it at a manager’s meeting tonight. I’m glad, because I really love their pizza and didn’t look forward to boycotting it. lol posted on 1⁄23 Disappointed. Had a free pizza awarded to me 4 months ago. Kinda misplaced it and didn’t realize I past the expiration on my little card about 3 weeks ago until today. Called in pretty sure management would honor it anyways(it’s only 3 weeks)…but nope. Guess I’ll take my total order for 3 pizzas elsewhere. Poor customer service like that will linger like expired moldy salami on my tongue for a long time.

My friends always tell me to take them to Woodstock’s when they come up to visit. Their pizza is great, a little pricey but it will definitely fill you up quick! With different kinds of dough, crust and toppings, this place definitely hits the spot for some good quality pizza! The ambience is great, the customer service is great, and the food is great! Although I only come here if I’ve got a few extra bucks to spend and I’m craving something other than cheap pizza.

Nice selection of craft brews on tap. Lately I’ve had Deschutes Fresh Squeezed IPA and Heretic’s Evil Cousin. They have about 10 others to choose from also. Atmosphere is great. Plenty of space to spread out. Lots of booths and tables. Something like 6 – 8 tvs to watch the game on. The service is great too. No attitude and timely. Pizza comes out quick and they respond to requests for channel-changing or extra plates, etc., right away. I like coming here to watch a game since I feel like it’s ok for me to hang out for a while– not like I’m being rushed out the door so the next customer can have my table. Oh, and the pizza! The wheat crust is bomb. My favorite pie is the Kauai Pie– just try it! Bathrooms were clean. They have some arcade games too.
