These guys are pros. On time, reasonably priced and willing to talk to you about your issues in a professional way. Top notch in my opinion.

I had my Subaru stolen and finally recovered it after a few weeks. The keys were missing so I got the key code from the Subaru dealer and took it over to Valley Lock and Key so they could make a key. He made one and it did not work. I had to tow the car to the dealer and they couldn’t do anything. Thinking something was radically wrong or that the lock had been changed, I towed to Enterprise Lock and they referenced the number and made the key in minutes that worked perfectly. I went back to Valley Lock to get a refund and the guy accused me of making up a story, that he had been given the wrong code! He reluctantly gave me a refund but didn’t even apologize. Going to him cost me $ 100! Sour grapes to this biz.

Valley Lock & Safe was recommended by Ozzie’s BWW Center when I asked about having the locks on an R80 G/S motorcycle keyed to match. Sure enough they were able to get all five locks to match, and also did a great job cutting a new key from a blank I provided. Only took a few days, and price was very reasonable, especially since a matching lock set is no longer available from BMW. They were also able to cut a folding key blank I supplied to match an existing key on another older BMW. That style blank is no longer available from BMW and VLS got it perfect the first try. I’ll be using VLS for all my locksmith needs from here on out!

Fast. Have every kind of key I’ve needed including the front door key to the original lock on my 100 year old house. High quality cutting is hand guided by a professional. No burrs or inaccuracies. Don’t bother with the big box stores. Save your money by doing it right the first time. I will wait for a weekday and go to Valley Lock and Safe rather than get a bad key somewhere else.

Tried getting a copy of my 2008 Hyundai Elantra car key and every shop in town, including Lowes and Walmart, was unable to help me. No other shop in town had the key in stock and all of them kept referring me to this place. I called and was told they had the key in stock! It would be $ 4.99…when I got there the price was $ 5.99 so I’m not sure if it was the person answering the phone pulling a price out of the air or if the person I dealt with overcharged me, but $ 5.99 for a spare key that I couldn’t find anywhere to be made in town, is still a better deal than replacing the locks/ignition switch on my car. So yah, five stars, technically four stars for the surprise extra dollar — I don’t like having surprises when it comes to charges, but the service was fast, friendly, and great!
