Wow, this was a mattress buying experience! The demonstration for this bed is really cool, and what a nice store, very hi-tech! Not like every other mattress store where a bunch of beds are lined up and you have to lay on them all to find the most comfortabke. This store, they actually show you what your body is most comfortable at and the bed can be set to your comfort level! I love soft, but my husband likes firm and we can both be happy! The manager at the Chico store is so personable, and funny. I can’t wait to sleep in my new bed!

At first everything seemed to be great. We bought a sleep number bed and was told if we don’t like it, then we can return it. They wanted us to try it out for 100 days. I have a bad back so I thought this was fair. Needless to say, it didn’t work out for me. No matter what setting I put it at, I woke up extremely stiff. I never had a bed that did that. We called to return it and they told us the bed can be returned but not the base with the adjustable mechanism. That was ours now and not returnable. What kind of scam is that? Why would that part not be returnable? We went along with it because I couldn’t keep the sleepnumber bed since it was killing my back. They did tell us on the phone that the base can be used with any bed. That’s not the point. I think if you are going to offer customers to try out the bed, then all if it should be returnable. I would not recommend the sleep number bed. I have since heard other complaints regarding sleep number. I wish I would have done a little more homework on this before purchasing. Live and learn.

Superior sleep experience? Sure! But, the sales people will literally say whatever they need to, in order to make the sale. The sales person promised me delivery on a specific day. It turns out they can’t make that promise. So I called corporate ba k & the gal says they can only deliver on X date. I said«well, I’ll be out of town until after 1.» She says no problem, I’ll put it in the system. The delivery people give me a phone call & an automated message says they’ll be there 9 – 1. I call the number left & it says I won a Walmart gift card for $ 100, press 1. So I do & can’t understand the person because of his heavy accent. I ask him if be is with Sleep Number & he doesn’t answer. I ask again, same thing. I say, I don’t understand, are you with Sleep Number or not. He begins yelling. I ask to speak to his supervisor & he hangs up on me. I call back & found out that pressing 1IS the only option. So, it depends how frustrated you want to get over actually receiving your bed. Personally, if I knew then what I know now, I would have gone elsewhere.
