In addition to my previous review… Now that my son and nephew have moved out of the dorm we received a letter with a breakdown of how we’re NOT receiving ALL of our deposit back. Of course not… they stated there were burns in the carpet. Keep in mind I spent the night there and moved his stuff out the week before he actually moved out I did not see any carpet burns. I was also charged for minor cleaning, door paint etc… Long story short they are keeping $ 200+ of my $ 500 deposit… Lol. I gotta laugh to keep from blowing the fuck up! This place is full of shit! The response that was received on my previous review was bullshit! I spoke to this same lady on the phone during the mishap and she was nothing short of RUDE! So the fake courteous reply is just for the public eye. I think the city needs to shut that facility down. I STILL have NOTHING nice to say about this place. Send me my partial refund and lose my contact information! Thank You

I had the misfortune of living here because the main campus didn’t have any room. Oh boy, where do we even start with this? I’m going to use bullet points so I don’t spend an hour writing all of this: the RA’s are rude, we found personal property missing from our rooms after their «inspection crews» would come through, the gym equipment didn’t work, the air conditioning/​heater didn’t work, the management was hostile… and the list goes on.
The icing on the cake came after I moved out. They sent me a statement saying they were keeping my deposit and demanded an additional $ 500! I had never had anybody in my room and didn’t hardly move any furniture in! They charged me for repainting the entire room and a bunch of other weird crap that was already there when I moved in. I tried to discuss this with their office staff and everybody in their office was so rude and hostile I couldn’t believe it! They kept disregarding my letters and threatening to send me to collections. I finally wound up paying their ridiculous charges so my credit wouldn’t be ruined.
FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE TO LIVE!

if you have a chance stay on campus for sure especially sutter it’s so new 2010 new. Like it wasn’t opened till i graduated. This dorm is okay but on campus is better. I’d pick this place over uv i feel like your closer to campus and if you’re lazy to walk theres a free craighall shuttle. Food is okay I really like their pasta night fresh pasta made to order, long lines tho. Dorm dollars are awesome you can use it at the bear and celestinos. Parking lot is nice and accessible only $ 50 for a parking permit for the year. You don’t meet people besides your roommates and suitmates, or its a little harder i feel like since no one leaves their door open. Not affiliated with the school so you also get people from the community college. Such a rip off that you’re better off getting an apt at more than half the price. internet sucks but you are a little closer to downtown than uv and maybe even on campus.
