Excellent! My kitchen knife needed sharpening after many years of use. Yes it was dull and nicked. Followed the signs to Caution Sharp, the business, which is in a work shop housing many sharping machines. Tom sharpened my knife while I waited using a Mikita stone that takes little metal off blade. For this I am glad. At the finish, he shaved his arm. Yes the blade is sharp! Again excellent.

This is one of those really unique and unusual businesses I love to find. A bit hard to find in a somewhat grubby location, but well worth the effort. If you have any sort of edged tool — from kitchen knife to power saw or mower — that is not performing as it should, this is the place. I use a reel type push mower. I like the exercise and the quiet. Complex thing, with it’s multiple blades and subtle adjustment. You know how it is, when a tool very slowly deteriorates, doesn’t work quite as well as it did, but it’s so gradual you don’t really notice — until one day it just gets a notch too bad and you need to do something. That was me and my mower. I took it in here hoping I could get it working better. When I got it home, it was truly better than new — it didn’t cut that well when I bought it. I’ll be back with more tools in the future!

Sharpened two or our garden tools $ 3.50. Work was so good we took in 5 knives of varying lengths including two serrated bread knives. Total $ 12. Also does lawn mower blades. On the way out of Chico on Park-Midway look for the Sharpener sign on the left and follow the signs to the back of the commercial buildings. Does work while you wait or you can come back.

Great job, at a fair price! When the Owner found out I was from Paradise running errands, he offered to call me on my cell phone, when he was done sharpening my knives? I appreciated getting my knives back quickly, and not needing to make another trip to Chico to pick them back up.

Came in here for the first time with my grandfathers old logging axe. It was returned to me sharp enough to shave with. Beautiful razor sharp polished bit. You know its good work when you feel like you need to pay more than charged. Customer for life and will be bringing by a few more of grandpas axes. Quick service Friendly

Awesome business. Little hard to find but well worth it. I was quoted $ 40 to sharpen my lawnmower blades(It’s more expensive for me because I have a push mower, gas/electric is significantly cheaper to sharpen) so I dropped it off on friday, to pick it up on monday. I got a call saying my blades weren’t that bad and only charged me $ 15. I had prepaid and I really appreciate the integrity that shows. I am a customer for life.

I love Caution Sharp. I brought 5 knives in to be sharpened and he only charged me for 4. One was a paring knife and the others were large kitchen knives. He only charged $ 3.00 per knife. Will go back again and again as needed.
