I do love this location. I come in at least 3 times a week. I am not too fond of some of the new people due to their highly unfriendly attitude. One of the girls is so rude, i walked out and started ordering online. A lot of my patients ans colleagues come here and i wouldnt want to change my location due to rude employees. Other than that, when the unfriendly employee isn’t there, it seems like things are so much smoother and happier and i do love the customer service and the quick on your feet strategy they have.

I am a frequent visitor here but I was a little put off on New Year’s Eve when I saw the employee clearing tables and sweeping the floor go around the counter and start serving soup samples without washing his hands. ugh. no gloves either. I decided to go somewhere else

I came here as an alternative to Potbelly’s around 1:20 p.m. on weekday. Although I carried my order out, it seems like a comfortable place to eat lunch. They had quite a few types of soups and sandwiches so there’s something for everyone. They give you samples when you wait in line. I tried a shrimp soup and the lobster bisque. Both were okay– I’ve had much better lobster bisque. I ordered the lobster soup and tuna sandwich combo. The soup comes with your choice of bread– the sourdough was delicious and soft. I asked the cashier several times if the sandwich would be «hot» and she assured me several times it would be. But it wasnt :(the bread was toasted but it wasnt a melt :(I also said no tomatoes, but it came with diced tomatoes anyway :(and my total was over $ 10 :( fyi you have to ask for saltines or oyster crackers separately. Overall, this was an okay lunch but i think i’ll stick to potbelly’s. the quality and service is good. the price and the product didn’t impress me. might go back for their pesto sandwich though.

Impressive fast food chain that specializes in soups?! How unique. I tried the lobster bisque in a bread bowl. For lunch hour, this location was not incredibly packed. I was in and out within 15 minutes. I truly enjoyed sampling all of the different soups. There were 3 I really liked but decided to go with the lobster. Extremely fresh tasting lobster, creamy soup, spiced to perfection. The bread bowl was very moist, yeasty. Soaked up the soup perfectly which made the dough even softer. Once soup was slurped, the bread was had and by the time I was finished eating, I was stuffed. All I wanted to do from that point was nap. Reasonably priced as well. Absolutely no complaints

I like Zoup and recommend it. I like soup, sandwiches and salads and they offer great combinations depending on your taste and appetite. The other day, I tried their lobster bisque in a bread bowl and I just loved it. I was so impressed with that taste, I went back today for Butternut Squash soup along with a Turkey club sandwich. Wow, was that combination every tasty. This time, I just got a bowl of the soup(and that is a good amount too) but it came with bread and I chose the sourdough. Delicious. Usually, these fast food places concern me since they may have great food but lack service and things may go astray. The service by the staff here is amazing and I was very impressed. The first day, the line was very long and there was only one person at the register taking orders. However, they really had their act together and they got their customers taken care of efficiently and accurately. Great job on that, Zoup! Today, they had three clerks at the registers taking orders and the service was just as good, but much faster. They were grinding out the orders so fast and, I stress, accurately without any drama. This place is going to be successful and have lots of business because not only is the food outstanding, but the customer service and the staff are outstanding. This is one of the best«healthy» fast food places I have found in the city — and that is saying something. If they maintain this level, I will elevate my rating. But for now, I will just come back and enjoy some wonderful soups and sandwich selections. Going into winter, this is a great lunch to grab and take back to the office to eat. It will warm your insides. I’ll be back… a lot.

Soups are good but not amazing. Pricey for what you get. For a minimum of $ 8 you will not be full but appetite will be satisfied for the short term. You’ll need an afternoon snack. Hoped it would compare to old NY soup joints that give a hearty combo of soup, bread, fruit and/or cookie.

Really not impressed with Zoup… I got the Lobster Bisque and the MTB sandwich. The Lobster Bisque was fine the first few bites but definitely got old, fast. I felt like I was going to have a heart attack after leaving the store with all the cream and fat in that soup. Also the sandwich was less than satisfying. it wasn’t toasted and there was a teeny tiny drizzle of balsamic and the mozzarella didn’t taste fresh at all. I could make something so much better at home. And to top it off the small sandwich and side of soup was more than $ 10…like seriously? I thought Panera was expensive but it’s cheaper than Zoup and the food/soup is so much better at Panera. Definitely won’t be back.

The soups here are amazing. My first time here so I tasted quite a few before deciding in the chicken & wild rice and the spicy crab & rice. The service is very friendly. I didn’t feel pressured to make a decision. They also have salads and sandwiches which I try on another visit.

Very impressed. Been wanting to check out this place for a long time. Stopped in and got a small Lobster Bisque and a french roll. Everything fresh and tasting well. Huge chunks of lobster. I had no choice, but to leave a review. Customer service is top notch. Thanks again for the suggestion. Will defo be stepping back in to check out something new.

Soup-er glad this placed opened up so close to my work. They have a huge selection of soups and other good stuff too. My only complaint is that I wish they were open a bit later and I wish their soups were a bit cheaper!

Good for a quick lunch bite, but nothing special to be honest… I had the pesto three cheese half sandwich and the bread was really doughy(not necessarily bad though) and there just wasn’t that much flavor compared to other sandwich restaurants. I also had a side of french onion soup, which wasn’t bad, but was completely generic. You could get that flavor anywhere or even just make it at home. Overall, if you need lunch quick that tastes okay, go here.

I ordered the Rustic Bean Soup on my lunch hour, as it was the only vegan option that day. I thought, YAWN, another dang bean soup. Much to my surprise the soup was absolutely delicious. The side of multi-grain bread made the perfect light lunch. And, as before, the service was very quick. Nice!

Had the Chipotle Shrimp Bisque. It was delicious. Glad that I could sample before ordering because I am unsure if I would have ordered it without the sample. Will definitely be coming back!

I’m a little torn on my review, but OK. Here we go. This visit took place on a Tuesday at 11:45AM. We decided to go in early to beat the lunch rush to sample the delicious soups this place offers. So far, so good. The staff is great. The soup is delicious. The line was non-existent. We took 5 minutes to sample the soups and placed our order. BOOM. Lunch rush. Between the three of us, we had ordered: Try two combo: Chicken pot pie soup with multigrain bread and Chicken Toscana sandwich. — they forgot to give us the multigrain bread, had to ask for it. Try two combo: Chicken pot pie soup with sour dough bread and Sonoma Salad Double up combo: White chicken chili and hearty vegetable beef multigrain bread, and Chicken Toscana sandwich.- Did not get the White chicken chili, was told we didn’t order a double up combo and would have to see our receipt to get the chili. Didn’t give us the sandwich, had double multigrain bread instead. Had to ask the person behind the counter to re-do the order because it took 5 minutes to get everything on the plate right. The soups, sandwiches, and salad that we ordered was delicious and hearty. The ingredients were fresh. The staff was great in the beginning when there was no crazy rush of people trying to get their orders… Just had a problem with the getting our food part. The location is still new, I will definitely return in a few weeks to see how the staff is handling the lunch rush again. But this place is worth a trip to get your lunch on.

I just happened to notice this place as I headed elsewhere, it’s pretty easy to miss if you aren’t actively studying what’s what. There’s more seating than it seems from outside, the décor is nice, everyone is very friendly, and you can sample the soups while you wait. My only gripe is that as one reviewer said, the place gets very cold as the door keeps opening. Soup on a January day isn’t the salvation it should be when you want to eat fast to get back to work and out of the draft. By the time I got up to leave, my coat was so cold you’d have thought I’d left it outside. I had the try two combo for about $ 8, which is a half salad and 8 ounce soup. The portion is enough to hold you over until dinner but not so much as to leave you sleepy all afternoon. The Asian salad has lots of toasted almonds, and the sesame dressing is delicious. The white bean and turkey sausage soup is also very good, and the soups come with a mini loaf of the bread of your choice. This place will be one of my go to spots when I want to avoid over-eating while still having something satisfying. It’s just unfortunate I’ll have to take my orders to go until winter is over.

This place just opened 5 stores from my job. They have amazing soups and sandwiches. I sampled at least 3 soups and purchased the lobster bisque and the veggie wrap, both were great and full of flavor.
