Have stopped here twice first time was to make a haircut appt. no one would help me but everyone was outside smoking! Stopped in there again to buy shampoo and conditioner the woman at the front desk was so damn rude I left the bottles on the counter and walked out! TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I’d give it a zero if it were allowed!

Although the customer service wasn’t 100% at all the ladies there were nice. My mother and I went for color and Olivia did both of our hair. She did an amazing job on my mom’s hair and did a good job o mine although the hair dye died off within the first week and a half so that was very dissapointing because it looked ridiculously washed out. The customer service could have been better and I agree that they made you feel like you’re bejg judged the second you walk in the door, making it an uncomfortable atmoshphere.

A while back I scheduled a hair cut appointment for my husband with Eva. He got a call from a receptionist half hour before his appointment that Eva couldn’t see him. The receptionist stated that he could come in the next 2 or 3 hours. He was already on his way, however they require a 24 hour cancellation notice if you can’t make it. Eva didn’t even pick up the phone, offer an apology for a inconvenience nor bothered to set up a different time. He ended up going elsewhere. Once they established their clientele, don’t expect special treatment. On a side note, stylists should wear more appropriate attire and be more professional.

What is wrong with this place? The vibe at Zig Zag is very strange– basically they stare at you and gossip what are you wearing and how you behave. This is really very unprofessional. You can easily feel very uncomfortable –especially because most of girls don’t wear their best clothes when going to do their hair (I am talking about dresses, nice shoes etc.). I saw stylist Monika twice. The first time she did ok job — my UpDo last for most of the party. When I tried to schedule my second visit with Monika to do color; Olivia told me that Monika is not available and she will take me. I told Olivia that I would like to see only Monika. Olivia wasn’t happy about that but after a few minutes she scheduled my appointment with Monika. I told Monika about that incident. I just wanted to find out what is going on. Monika told me that Oliva very often steals clients from other stylist– in the same way she tried to «steal me» (or the service). It is very, very unprofessional and sad that the owner is doing such a terrible things to their employees. I agree with Alla K’s review– «stylists made you feel like they are doing a favor to you». I wish I could give zero stars… I would never be back.

Wow, it is quite fascinating how all of the 1 star reviewers bashing Oliwia have a history of only a single review on Unilocal– i.e. that particular review. That’s not phishy at all! Lol. Wish Unilocal would investigate such ratings site wide, kinda makes me question everything about my life as a Unilocal reviewee.
Either way, cannot attest to any color or cut because I never had those done there; but what I can say is that ZigZag is the ultimate place for me when it comes to special dos. Had several done for different occasions, anything from a conservative twist to a funky up-​do braid, loooooooooooooooved them all. All the girls there seemed to be very fashionable, which is what was my determining factor in deciding to entrust them with my special occasion look in the first place.

My experience was horrible. I came in for highlights and the lady who was doing them Agi (agnieszka) was extremely rude and made me feel uncomfortable. I had shown her a photo of what kind of highlights I wanted and she told me she couldnt do them as light as I wanted them because my hair would fall out. I had highlights done previously, roots grown out and all and when I had gotten my highlights done a different time by another women there they came out exactly how i wanted them to. But she told me she wouldnt put bleach on bleach because my hair would fall out. That WAS NOT THE CASE before i had gotten them done. After asking her a few questions about how she was going to lighten my hair, she turned the chair got in my face and said «who is the hair stylist, me or you?» I have been to this location about seven times and will never be coming back. That is beyond rude and unprofessional, you’re not supposed to talk to any client that way. So not only did I leave the salon angry because of her attitude, but also unhappy with how my hair came out. Beware of this place.

So happy I went there. Anna did my cut and color. she did an amazing job. She was so nice and funny and for the first time a hairstylist recommended a style that would look good on me. overall the salon was ok and prices are reasonable.

The vibe at that place is strange… not very welcoming at all. The staff is not too friendly. The two owners don’t seem to care about their clients. Went for a haircut with Oliwia and did not like it at all. For a senior stylist she did a poor job. My gf went for color and cut with Ewa and was disappointed. Not to mention the wait… even with an appt I waited 30 mins… come on. Will not be going back… Don’t bother going there :(

Horrible place. Run away. Wish I could give zero stars. Made an appointment, was standing up in a wedding. Waited for an hour on the day of the event, before I angrily got up and left. Rushed home crying and had to get ready myself, with only 20 minutes left :(they’re rude, unprofessional, and do not care about their customers. So disrespectful it’s not even funny… Do not trust them if you have a special event… Or anything else …

Please do not go to this salon. This was my first time at this hair salon. My stylist, Anna, took me in 15 mins past my scheduled appointment. I knew as soon as I saw Anna I was in trouble. She had the weirdest hair cut and bleached hair. When she washed my hair, I thought I would not have any hair left on my head. She was so rough. Hair should be treated with care like silk not like laundry. Then she proceeded to blow dry my hair which was also a terrible experience. So rough, pulling on my hair. I showed her the picture of the hair I wanted which was just basic beachy curls. I was so annoyed with her, then she went to the owner of the salon (Ewa) because she did not want to do my hair anymore. Ewa was nicer but she still did not do the curls that I wanted. I left looking like Shirley Temple and ot beachy curls. Overall horrible experience. I felt rushed and they did not care how it looked especially when I told them I was going to a black-​tie event.

I went to get a trim. I brought several photos, requested long, side swept bangs, no crazy layers… waited for 45 minutes.
It has been three weeks. I am growing out my bangs… The layers are all over the place. It could not have been the language barrier; I speak both.
Not happy :(

Weird vibe in the salon– I could not help but feel out of place. Then again, I do not like getting my hair cut, so I feel uncomfortable in pretty much every salon.
I think my stylist was double booked, because I ended up waiting even though I had an appointment. Meanwhile, I saw a couple of other stylists just chilling. No problem for me, but I felt bad for her.
My stylist was nice and down to earth. I have challenging hair and she did a good job. She was actually pretty quick… I’ve had haircuts that have taken up to 2 hours before. I was done in a little over an hour (haircut, hair straightening, eyebrow wax). Prices are very reasonable, also.

I went there to get a haircut, nice and easy, nothing crazy. Iza was great and very friendly. Made me feel welcome and comfortable. I’ll go there again for sure. The atmosphere there is awesome. You won’t regret it: o)

Love love love love love this place! My friend who’s been going there for 7 years now recommended it to me. I came with an unfortunate at-​home hair color (which left my hair yellow), but they worked their magic and «yellow be gone»! Cuts are very European! Very happy with the service overall.
