It was good, though I was a bit misled as the prices on their menu online was not what I was charged, it was a few dollars more, in addition there were some items that were listed online that werent actually on the menu, so that def needs to be updated, i was a bit annoyed at that, aside from that though, the food was good, i got a 4 piece chicken meal with mac n cheese and stuffing, the mac was really good

Great food. Some of the best I have had in awhile. But the wait is absolutely brutal for the food they’re serving. I walk in and there is no one in front of me and my order alone takes 20 minutes. To their credit they do warn you on the door about the wait time and that they make their orders fresh, but still. That and the menu has several typos and is hardly ever correct. I hate to think what the wait time is when there is a line or more than 1 order.

Came in to Chicago from California to a Bears game and this place was highly recommended by #Showtime at The Blake Hotel. The only reason im giving it a 3 is because it took them 45 minutes to get us our food and one person in our party didnt get her food with the rest of us. The food is beyond AMAZING great flavors but the service is just unacceptable. Never got drink refills either. And did I mention we were the only customers in there at 9am on sunday.

Stumbled upon this place for breakfast and it was so good came back the next day. Reasonably priced diner with a whole lot of style. Hash browns were delicious, eggs done the way we ordered them and served with friendly fun.

The food here is freshly prepared — be prepared to wait at least 20 – 25 minutes before receiving your order. Management appears to be aware of the issue and has at least 4 signs in the restaurant asking for their customers patience. With that said, I ordered smothered chicken, red beans and rice, and Mac and cheese. The food was great and generous but I waited 25 minutes to receive on a Friday night in which there was only one other patron. The décor inside is a U.S.A. theme — it may come across as obnoxious but a worker explained that they are all about patriotism which is understandable I guess. I actually give this place a 3.5 — the food took a while and the owner was rude to one of his staff members and as a result me when I asked if he could break my 10 dollar bill for change. He slammed the cash on the table as he presented. If not for that incident, I would give this place a 4 easily.

I had a really good experience here — good food, friendly staff and great price. What more do you want from a casual place in the south loop? I had the short rib special, which was delicious. Lots of super tender short rib, potatoes and vegetable and an incredibly rich gravy. My wife had the wings, which were crisp, spicy and juicy. You can tell a lot about a soul food place from their mac and cheese. Wingers’ mac and cheese is great. I plan on coming back next time I’m in the area. A friend of mine had breakfast and said it was good. For what its worth, this place opened in June, so most of these reviews are from the first few weeks of business. Give it a try.

May be the most inefficient operation in restaurant history. Instead of waiting 30 plus minutes like the rest of folks in line, I asked(and received) the six leftover wings that were sitting(likely for hours) on a hot plate. I have to admit those wings hit the spot at 1am

We celebrated a bday here and had a blast. The staff are super friendly, it’s a real family feel and they went out if their way to celebrate with balloons, pie, and singing. The menu focuses on soul food, wings and burgers.

This place is absolutely terrible. The décor is obnoxious. The food is mediocre. The staff very slow and is obviously not trained properly and seem to be just hanging around not working. Anyone that gives this place a positive review must be working for the restaurant. Questions: Who designed the interior of this place, Betsy Ross? How does the wait staff not know the menu? How do you not have blue cheese or ranch dressing when you serve buffalo wings? Why do you have to wait so long for fast food? Who wants to eat cold fries with no salt? What sit down restaurant checks your id when you hand them your credit card? Why do you have to walk all the way to back of the restaurant to give your signature on a portable ipad? This place needs some serious work. Amateur hour. I would not recommend it.

So fun! Go here! Atmosphere is a blast, food quality is what you’d expect and it’s right in the middle of down town Chicago. I think it’s worth is for some rockin wings, Chi-style.

The décor is… interesting. A lot of love for the United States of America. It’s a good thing this restaurant is loud and proud of the red, white, and blue because you will need a lot to look at while you wait for your food. Don’t go to this place in a hurry and don’t order breakfast. At least not the biscuits and gravy. Tasted a bit odd and I think it may have upset my stomach. The eggs were average. My friend’s poor sausage link looked like a microwave attacked it. Breakfast is perhaps one of the easiest meals to cook unfortunately their cook doesn’t know how to cook it. I do give this place three stars because the price is insanely cheap, especially for downtown Chicago. Just remember if you go, relax and take your time because your food will take forever. If this place lasts a year I will be surprised.

Waited 35 minutes for my food before leaving. It smelled good, I would have loved to try it.

Note: It’s a 3.5 star rating rounded up. WOW! Did I just step into someone’s presidential campaign headquarters? Their grand opening was the same day Trump announced he’s running for president. Coincidence? You decide! ;) Red, white, and blue patriotic theme splashed all over this joint, you’d feel like a Benedict Arnold being a hater. All jokes aside, I think this place has a lot of potential. They had just opened so I understand there are many kinks to work out, and they just need to find a groove. My review may seem a little bit harsh now, but I do plan on updating it as they figure out a system over time. After asking my friend about this place several times, we finally found the opportunity to stop by for lunch. We both ordered the steak and eggs since we love breakfast food. He got there before me so he ordered his food before I got there. The steak and eggs are supposed to come with hashbrowns, grits, and a biscuit so my friend ordered a side of gravy. He was never asked how we wanted his eggs so he got scrambled by default and didn’t receive his biscuit. When I got my food, I didn’t receive any grits or biscuit. They did ask me how I wanted my eggs cooked, but I received eggs over hard when I ordered over medium. Both of our steaks were well done so it was a little dry and tough to eat. We also ordered some party wings with chipotle ranch sauce. I would recommend asking for the sauce on the side because they were drenched in it. They were supposed to come with fries, but they forgot. It did take a long time to get the food after ordering, and it wasn’t a packed house. Like I said before, they just need to figure it out. The menu they had is more extensive than what’s listed on their website so come in and check it out. They had dinner items and daily specials. I definitely want to come back on a Tuesday for the short rib and sometime during the weekend for the ribs!
