This Walgreens is the worst when it comes to customer service especially Marilyn. You have to beg someone to ring you up half the time, like please I’m trying to give you my money just take it. They act like they’re doing you a favor especially Marilyn. How did Marilyn get this job? She has no desire to do it while simultaneously not knowing how to do it. This is the worst store I’ve been to in my life, and I’m a veteran I’ve been to Iraq, and they have stores there.

This walgreens sucks when it comes down to customer service. 5 – 10 min. phone wait only to be placed on hold 2 or 3 more times. Employees send you off looking for managers instead of paging one to the area. And then when everything is all said and done have fun waiting in line for an additional 15 min. or so. Hope your patient if you’re shopping here. I had to give a 1 star rating… only because a ½ star isn’t available.

I’ve only been in to stop at the Chase ATM for some bills to spend at cash only businesses in the surrounding neighborhood. On one hand, this place is a lifesaver. On the other hand, would it kill them to get some bike parking?(Hint, hint) Puh-leeze!

This Walgreen location is one block from my house and super convenient. I love that they have a deluxe coffee machine and a slushy machine. They also sell fresh fruit, sandwiches, wraps, alcohol and unbelievably sushi too.(although I wouldn’t recommend the sushi). The photo guy Joshua is always nice and lets me check out at the photo counter even when the check out lines up front are not even full. Some of the female employees there are loud, obnoxious and ghetto, but hey what would you expect from a Walgreen’s in the hood any way.

This walgreen is one of the closest to my home. Don’t get me wrong the inside is super clean and never messy and most of the time I find what I’m looking for. but their pharmacy department is the worst! Super super slowwww! I don’t kno the work of a pharmacist or if making a prescription takes long but I hate dropping and picking up prescription(thru drive thru or inside) because I am never out with in 10 to 15 minutes. I’m always there waiting honestly from 35 to 50 minutes. They need more staff or they are just slow on purpose.

This is pretty much your run if the milk walgreens. It’s clean though and the staff are pretty helpful and friendly so that’s a big plus.

Okay, I actually remember this Walgreens because the night I went it was pouring rain and the bus driver asked if he could jump in front of me because it was almost time for him to pull off… and when I told him he was driving the bus we needed to get on, so I couldn’t let him get in front of me because he would end up leaving us he said he would just put his juice and chips down… lol because he couldn’t be late! He ended up going to camera and we ended up walking!!! Now, I know that has nothing to do with Walgreens but hey I thought it was a cute little story! This Walgreens was clean and the staff was great! When the line was getting long they quickly opened another one with the I C 3 although I saw about 10 but hey that’s just me!

I was super-excited to have a ‘new’ Walgreen’s in the neighborhood(I live 3 blocks from here, and about the same distance from the one this replaced – at Pulaski and Grand – but would rather walk to this one). Of course, the new one is cleaner, brighter, and neater. Let’s hope that lasts. Otherwise, it’s just a standard Walgreen’s. I’ve always liked that their layouts are all pretty much identical… makes it super-easy to get in and out of ANY Walgreen’s, even if you’ve never been inside a particular location. And this one has a decent-sized parking lot. My only complaints: it closes at 10, and EVERYTHING is locked up(I guess both are endemic to the so-so neighborhood). Sad they have to lock up my $ 3 deordorant or a $ 5 bottle of shampoo, but even more irritating is that the last TWO times I had to ask the woman at the cosmetic counter to unlock a case, she was on her cell phone, clearly talking to family. Fine, but she sees me standing there and doesn’t at least acknowledge me for(seriously) 3 to 5 minutes, there’s a problem. I can point and you can unlock if you can’t cut it short, but better yet… make your phone calls on your break, lady.
