I work in a medical-​related field and came to know Dr. Mokarry through a professional relationship. I was so impressed with his knowledge, demeanor and attention to detail that I decided to seek his help when I needed a septoplasty/​turbinate reduction. As a Northwestern patient, this was a stretch, geographically and comfort-​wise since all of my prior care has been at NMH.
I just completed a day-​surgery procedure (at Alexian Brothers) and recovery and I give him and his staff high marks.
He made himself available for splint removal at my convenience since I live and work in Chicago.
If I ever need an ENT again, I will certainly return.

I think you’d be fine with this guy if you don’t ask questions. He becomes condescending and dismissive if you don’t immediately understand what he says, or ask for more information or clarification. I saw him three times, so it wasn’t a one-​time bad mood. Two stars for the lovely staff nurses and receptionists. Facility is worn and equipment is broken/​taped together. Not going back there again.

I love this man… he’s always helpful, fun, and knows his stuff. Since he diagnosed my mom with nasopharyngeal cancer, he’s been with her the whole way. She’s fine now, thankfully, but has alot of side effects from having radiation on her brain. Dr. Mokarry won’t stop until he figures it out and makes her better!
He also helped me tremendously by diagnosing my sleep apnea and getting me set up with a CPAP machine.
