Vantage Chicago Moving

If I could provide a lower rating I would. Unfortunately my move was last minute. I decided to give this new company a chance, and it was the worst decision I have made in a long long time. I am in the process of suing this moving company. I will list the reasons why.
— Quoted 7 hours… THE MOVE TOOK 21 HOURS over 2 days
— Brought OBESE, INCOMPETENT, LAZY, and INCAPABLE AMATEURS to move my things. One of them was sweating so profusely and hyperventilating while carrying ONE art canvas at a time up the stairs.
— The movers blatantly ignored any instruction or guidance and therefore ruined many things.
— They did not wrap furniture properly and placed tape DIRECTLY ON ANTIQUE PAINT, therefore removing it.
— When we confronted the little ignorant punk that owns this «company» about the issues at hand. he proceeded to whine at us like a tween.
— They DESTROYED about a dozen pieces of furniture including irreplaceable art, and antiques.
— When I confronted him to make a claim on the damaged furniture, he refused to give me the paperwork, and claimed it would have to be done later. When I contacted him later, he said it was too late to file a a claim and he owes me nothing.
— He told my fiancé to «LICK HIS N*TS» while on the phone regarding this matter.
STAY AWAY! Choosing this company has destroyed an entire month of my life, along with much of my valuable personal belongings.
This company is run by a CHILD (literally early 20’s) who has no idea what he is doing and is nothing short of an ignorant brat. I was stupid to choose this company, it destroyed so much and now I have to go through suing them. Likely, this company will not be in business anymore considering the substantial amount of damage they have now incurred.

I have used movers at least 8 times over the last 25 years, this is unquestionably the worst, most deceitful moving company I have encountered. The movers estimated the job would take 8 hours it took 22 hours. The movers were scheduled to arrive at 9, they arrived at 10:15. They damaged tens of thousands of dollars worth of antique furniture, electronics, and family heirlooms. Normally, professional movers bring tools to disasemble and reassemble furniture, they had none. Normally, professional movers wrap furniture in moving blankets, they didn’t. There are many other details on which I could elaborate however I have written enough for readers to understand how this company operates. I will leave you with a final tidbit. The day of the move we let the mover know of the damages and requested claim forms and a copy of the contract. They have yet to provide us with the requested information. When I contacted them most recently (with the hope of avoiding litigation), I was told «I should lick my …» buyer beware!
