Ugh, do I ever miss T’s. I miss sitting on the patio. I miss the double pints. I even miss the over-priced, mediocre food. Someone move into this spot and bring our Andersonville LBGT go-to back to life!!!

SADLY T’s has closed it’s doors :( I’m just glad that I had years of enjoyment there! Fingers crossed the next place to occupy that space will offer as much to the community.

T’s is indeed A ok. Super friendly bartenders and staff. Good drinks, decent food, good vibes. The front part is more restaurant oriented, then a small bar, a back bar(room) with pool table and an outdoor patio. All good stuff! We were there early so we didn’t get to enjoy the DJ who was set to start around 11pm. It’s a lesbian bar, which as a lesbian I adore, but what I didn’t adore was the bitchy ass lesbians who didn’t want to share the pool table. I was informed the table was theirs for their night. Um ok. Who said so? Am I missing an unwritten(or written) rule that says first lesbians to claim the table own said table for the remainder of the night? Please advise. I hail from CA and we tend to welcome new gays into the fold, so I’m not used to being judged by my own people. Not cool and it left a very bad taste in my mouth. But I want to say again, the bartenders and staff were friendly enough that I plan to go back(hoping bitchy lesbians will be replaced with friendly, welcoming lesbians). I’m not judging T’s by something they have no control over(its patrons), but there is something to the old saying: friends are a reflection of who you are… T’s, I will be back and I hope to update this review with more positive thoughts because there’s nothing I love more than a neighborhoody lesbo bar!

This Andersonville bar and grill feels like it’s being pulled in too many different directions. It has an adequate beer selection, decent food, a few flat screens for games, billiards table, somewhat of a dance floor in the back, etc. Just like most other places that try to cater to everyone, the overall experience is diluted and unmemorable. For dinner I asked our server for their favorite dish, an was recommended the pulled pork sandwich. The bread was delicious, the pork could have been quite a bit warmer, but the main turnoff was that the pineapples were very clearly canned. That wouldn’t always bother me, but considering it was a recommended dish, I was expecting better. Along side the sandwich and fries I ordered a «Black Magic» a Magic Hat topped off with Guiness. I like both beers on their own, but didn’t really see any benefit of layering them in the same glass. Overall T’s had a very friendly staff, but didn’t feel like it could ever be someones favorite bar since it’s catering to so many different people.

So. I will admit I’m a couple of Miller Lite Double Pints to the Wind. And. I am still feeling a nice little Buzzzz… However. had the greatest night at T’s tonight. It was Karaōke Night and I had a Blast! Lotsa people singing. some really good. some not so much. But. had the best time at Karaōke Night. After my double pints I was really happy! Granted. it got kindda wild in the back bar area tonight but. thats where I was hanging out and I loved it! And. our waiter Zack got up and sang Killer Queen and he was really good. I was really happy after my double pints and wanted to go join the girls for We are Family but they started without me. Everyone knows I am such a party girl! So. before Karaōke Brian, Doug and I had dinner which was really good. T’s makes great burgers. Just a great night tonight at T’;s. Now. I have to get up for work tomorrow and then school on Tuesday. I love a good party. Damn. dont have another one till next week. I will have to make it through. A great restaurant/bar/karaōke place in Andersonville. Thanks to Brian, Doug, Zack and everyone at T’s. You guys Rock!

My boyfriend and I have been to T’s twice, and have loved it every time. We found it the first time walking down Clark street last August and stopped in for a drink and dinner. Our server was Miggs(both times, last year and this evening) and he was very attentive, sweet and knowledgeable of the menu. The atmosphere is bar/restaurant(on the Clark st side), the music is fun, and the crowd is just as the motto states: «A bar for everyone», which we like. The art in the front lobby is a lot of fun as well! Granted some of the previous reviews on Unilocal,we have been here for dinner service, never for the bar scene later. The service is prompt, the property is very clean, and the food is consistently wonderful(baked goat cheese and garlic bread, and the Mac and Cheese are some favorites). We always look forward to visiting T’s and have a blast with each experience.

I wish people would quit making me go here. Rude waitresses, cruddy drink specials, gross bar food and for as crowded(for whatever reason) this place gets you’d like they’d invest on newer and more restrooms. That’s situation in the hallway gets fierce! I wish something else would come into Aville and be the new choice of friends. Cause I just don’t understand the love for T’s.

T’s definitely holds it’s own as a restaurant and bar. In fact, the surprisingly good food lands T’s in the top 10% of it’s class. Solid. What sets it apart(at least in my mind), is that it’s my favorite lezzie hang-out. Complete with good eats, yummy drinks, and a pool table, what more could a girl ask for? Oh yeah — that’s right. Women! It’s just a relaxed place to go and it seems as if everyone loves it. Although I haven’t necessarily seen kiddos at T’s, I’ve definitely seen all other types. A cherished memory is when I met some hetero male chefs from an Evanston restaurant. For the most part, it’s a friendly crowd and über relaxed and happy. The word«midwestern» comes to mind when describing the social scene. The front portion of T’s has an expansive bar, but it definitely feels more like a restaurant with the good lighting from the large windows. The back portion is a spacious den: another bar, dim lighting, pool table, and a juke box to play some Melissa Etheridge as many times as you can afford. The service has always been top notch, although some servers(who I think are gone) have delivered a healthy dose of attitude when efficiently taking orders and delivering food. Other than that, the service has always been attentive and friendly — even on crazy busy nights when a dozen bodies are crammed around a table for four!

I have no idea why some Chicagons recommended this bar. Literally on a Sunday night it was full of Lesbians and it was dead. I have nothing against them because I have a few gay/lesbians friends, but I wanted to mingle. Get to know the crowd and have some fun. It was so low keyed, literally we took one shot, stayed for a little bit and just left. There was a pool table :-).

I had their T’s Ten Minute Stew today. Um, not at all what I imagined it would be. Isn’t stew suppose to come in a bowl? Shouldn’t it be somewhat soupy? My stew came on a plate… Not not a plate with a bowl center. Just a flat plate. The«stew» was piled on top of a bed of mashed potatoes. The whole thing tasted like Chinese black pepper chicken dish but with beef and potatoes… Strange! I mean, it tasted okay. It wasn’t what I expected though. It wasn’t what I thought I ordered. It wasn’t satisfying. I think I should have stuck to the typical bar food. P. S. Their water tasted like what I’d imagine toilet water to taste like. Gross.

I’ll give credit where credit is due… I have FINALLY found an entrée I very much enjoy at T’s… Mac and cheese. Avacados and blue cheese. Mmmmmmmmm. Next time: bacon. No doubt.

Liking this place even more now that I’ve been back multiple times and continue to frequent here… The outdoor patio is now open where you can sit at tables and eat or just chill with your friends. Or head to the back of the place for a relaxing, chill night. The pool table and I have become closely acquainted and the jukebox has a part of me in it(namely, my quarters). The more food I try, the more I enjoy their menu. If it’s your first time coming here, feel free to start conversations with people. I’ve met many great people here and will continue to traipse my way into T’s…

Came over after having a few drinks at Hopleaf. I wasn’t really feeling the vibe as it was an older crowd but the staff was still nice. We hung out in the back room which had games and a pool table. They do have some awesome gender neutral bathrooms.
