There are 3 big washing machines and the rest can only hold medium loads. They have a limited supply of wire laundry carts. The dryers are terrible. 90% of the machines are old and outdated. Quarter guzzlers.

I’ve never been to a laundromat, but this was a good first experience. I live close to Loyola University, but it was just a quick bus ride away. I went on Sunday, so it was pretty busy, but I was still able to find open washers & dryers. It’s very clean and well lit. Washers are $ 1.25/load and dryers are $ 0.25 for every 10 minutes. I’d say this is a good price, better than the apartment building that I live in.

I like this place. It’s close to where I live and their washing machines work way better then the ones in my building. Their machines are also cheaper then the ones in my building! So it’s a total win in my book. They have free(and speedy) wifi access which is really important to me so I can work while I wash. It’s obviously family owned, and they are always very nice to their customers. They sell detergents and snacks and have the other essentials like a coin machine and a bathroom. I wish their hours went just a little later, during the week when I’m coming from work it’s hard to get everything done before they close at 8pm.

Not air-conditioned in the hot humid summer– yikes! They give change, they sell detergent and other necessities. The machines are old, but reliable. The driers aren’t exactly dependable– one gets very hot on low setting and the next doesn’t. But that’s typical for this reliable chain of laundromats. Close by to the Heart of Chicago motel where we were staying. Off-street parking on the side of the building.
