Great food and really good prices. Tried the steak tacos and gyros with fries… never disappoints.

I haven’t ordered here since two years ago and today I decided to order for a delivery. It took about a half hour, which is pretty quick, the only down side was the food was just warm by the time it arrived to my house, as well as the horchata, the ice just melted into my drink but pretty understandable due to the hot weather. I have spent four years experiences with Mexican food during my high school years, I’d say their tortas are definitely not the best in town. The buns were harder than I thought and when you bite into it, the raw onion reminds me of the taste of a maxwell cheeseburger. I also ordered the cheddar fries. Again, not impressive. Fries texture wasn’t great to start off with, it was rather soft than crispy fried, or anything close to that. Overall, their food seems to be downgraded compared to the last time I ate there. But their delivery deal is pretty decent and affordable for an one-person meal.

My go to spot for fish tacos, also like the other tacos-steak, chicken and al pastor. They have good burgers and sandwiches. I had the Chicken Parmesan, not bad for burger joint. They are more authentic with Mexican food, than anything.

Ordered fish tacos, all I can say is where the fish? Also ordered hot dog, it is okay, just like any take out joint.

The burger is shit. I don’t appreciate a frozen patty slapped on stale bread slathered in watery mayo. Nor when I ask for cheddar cheese on the burger do I expect nacho cheese sauce. What the fuck is that? On the cheddar fries, I guess it is a 50⁄50 of real shredded cheddar cheese but on a burger it should be law to specify that it’s cheddar sauce product. Waste of my money. Thanks for the life lesson.

ive tried. steak nachos– i enjoy their steak nachos. i ordered it a few times. its a hit or miss tho. sometimes the chips taste stale and sometimes not. polish hot dog– skip this. it tasted like it was microwaved… big taster– it taste like your average burger just a little bigger. rib tips– the meat was chewy and the bbq sauce doesnt taste like bbq.

Unbelievably bad. I’ve only tried it once, for a lunch special, and this was when I was working construction, extra hungry. Both my helper and I threw our lunches out after just a few bites. The egg rolls that came with the $ 6.00 lunch were OK, and of course the RC was drinkable, but I’ve never had Chinese so inedible. I threw away the Mongolian Beef and I think my helper threw out Kung Pao Chicken. Abso-frikking-lutely the worst. Ever. I would suggest BYOB if you’re actually going to try to eat here, because you’ll need to be drunk to choke this crap.

I decided to eat here as I had seen it from the street and it looked kind of crazy. Ordered the fish taco special and veggie nachos, as I don’t eat meat, and you shouldn’t either… the way they treat those poor animals, shameful. A review I read complained about the wait time and I thought, «what a jerk, complaining about the wait!» Well, I have to tell you I waited a heck of a long time for that order… so long that I hauled ass out of there, irritated, and think I got a red light ticket… is there one of those camera’s at Ashland and Archer? The fish tacos were excellent and the fries as good as described in other reviews… very good, probably the best fish tacos I have ever eaten, and cheap too. The veggie nachos were a drag. Mostly because they use(as described in the menu to be fair) «nacho cheese». That gross cheddar stuff that you get in movie theatre nachos that only children eat. I had to throw them out… not good. I would give them four stars for the fish tacos and 2 stars for the nachos… averaging it out to 3 stars. If you’re in the neighborhood try Patio next door… unbelievable gyros… too bad I don’t eat meat anymore.

Was new to the neighborhood and found them on Grubhub and it was an awesome find… great food, great price and a variety… they are reasonably prices and give you a great portion! We order from them all the time. the staff is friendly but I think I’m always talking to the owner or manager. the burrito’s are huge and the steak nacho’s are great. they always make my food to my specifications and i’m always happy. I give them 4 stars because occasionally they forget to add something to my food that I request but it’s rare and they always fix it for you right away. I highly recommend this place.

I’m definitely a huge stickler for time that it takes for delivery. I don’t care if there is mass flooding! We all know you’re warming up pre-cooked food… It should take you 5 minutes to cook my food and 5 minutes to drive it the 2 miles to my house… This is Chicago, so I guess I can stand 30 minutes for delivery with traffic and all, but not only did you tell me it would take up to an hour,(no place like this should take an hour, ever!!) it took 1HOURAND30MINUTES! Are you kidding me? Beyond that, food was good, price was meh… horchata was god-like…

This is one of my favorites. My husband and I order from here all the time and love it. They’re really tasty and extremely affordable. I love their double bacon cheeseburgers, I always get added swiss and mushroom, which is AMAZING. They’re also pretty good time wise, and if they mess up? The apologize and fix their mistake and also give credit to your account. Really good place.

The place is a greasy spoon and that’s what you should expect. You get a lot for your money but it isn’t exceptional food. It’s not a dive with fantastic food, it’s a dive with okay food. Had the gyro special that comes with fries and pop as well as the half pound hamburger that came with bacon and the works. It was a generous amount of food all for $ 11. Fries were a bit too salty. I would go there if I need to get something quick. Next time, I’m going to try their asada taco since it was voted best taco on Grub something.

Ordered a pick up order online. Steak Nachos — These were ok, but started to get soggy quick, but that’s a given. Also, the steak didn’t seem to be of good quality. Wings — I asked for hot wings, but the guy put hot and bbq separate since he said he didn’t know what I would like. I’m glad they did because the bbq sauce was good. The hot sauce was too vinager-y. The fries were soggy and nothing great. Came with a garlic bread and cole slaw. Not bad and the prices are decent. Maybe give the burgers or tacos a try next time.

Why did this resturant go from 5 stars to 3 stars to well 1 star, it comes down to one factor. The food has become bland, and yet its still the same owners. Prices have gone up, and during the process of prices going up the taste of food has fell way of the scale. With a city like Chicago that has many other options go elsewhere.

I ordered a –big tasty cheeseburger –double bacon cheeseburger –2 fish tacos –cheese fries –2 hot dogs –chicken taco First off I will speak on the ordering service, you have to order on the phone and the man on the phone was very polite and nice also they take credit/debit over the phone for delivery. the food came in about 45min which wasn’t too bad and the delivery guy was nice. I tasted the fish taco first as this was my first time ever having a fish taco and the thought of it sounded crazy… ITWASDELICIOUS!!! I would definitely order that again and again the fish taco was on corn tortilla bread, mayo, onions, lettuce and tomatoes! please try the fish tacos!!! now the burgers are big on sesame seed buns they are ok as they are a lil too dry for taste so lot of ketchup, the bacon was big and delicious on the burger, the chicken tacos was good but the hot dogs are NOT beef hot dogs so it saddens me that they call these hot dogs chicagoan when they are not beef hot dogs– shame on them!!! It’s like the hot dogs came from aldi’s or something– I will never order hot dogs from here again till they beef it up. the cheese fries were ok the melted cheese was kinda watery but tolerable. overall I will order from here again but probably order something different.

My last experience was sooooo yummy. This time I elected to have 2 steak and one pork taco. I couldn’t remember if I liked the steak or chicken better. Having just read my previous review, evidently I was a chicken fan. I have since switched. Pork(al pastor) was amazing and the steak was fantastic too! I love my tacos with onion and cilantro and they do it well. Again, I loved the corn tortillas, despite usually loving flour. RICEANDBEANS are my favorite! Portions are big! I love that the rice has veggies in it. Yummy red salsa too.

In the Battle of the Burgers, this little hole-in-the-wall joint pretty much beat out the rest. They drew me in with their«recession» special of 99-cent tacos. Of course, once I stepped inside, I found out that one taco was $ 1.39 and buying two or more tacos brought them all down to the 99-cent deal. So I grabbed for the take-out menu because after all, there was a burger battle going on and another competitor would make things interesting. And that’s when I saw it: A coupon for a «Big Taster with Fries — $ 4.59» I flipped through the paper menu, perused the overhead menu and signage and there was no «Big Taster» listed anywhere. So I inquired of the cashier and he said it was one of their half-pound burgers with cheese, bacon and BBQ sauce! And it comes with fries all for $ 4.59? SOLD! I even threw in one of those steak tacos just to try it out. The taco — meh. It has no cheese on it, it had tomato on it, but there was no hint of cilantro and the meat was decent and I could see myself getting a few of them at 99-cents each if I had a craving. Then I tried the fries — on a scale of 1 to 10, I’d say they were at least a 6 or 7. Nicely salted, nicely fried without being soggy, but not very dry which happens a lot with frozen fries. And then that«Big Taster» got unwrapped. They use one large flat ½-pound meat patty(so the sesame-seed bun it comes on is huge) and it had a good amount of BBQ sauce for flavor and bacon that actually had a bit of crispiness to it on the edges. This was the winning burger, in both price and taste when I was looking for something at least ½ pound with bacon and cheese. And bonus — BBQ sauce! Without that coupon, though, it would have been a sadder story — but still with a tasty burger at the end of it. I love that their menu is so expansive, though I fear that makes them more of a jack-of-all-trades and master of none. Perhaps another visit when I have a gyro competition will prove me wrong. And I’m itching to try out their discounted steak nachos they’ve got advertised in their window. They also get bonus points for having the TV tuned to Food Network. and they have two arcade games, though it boggles my mind to charge $ 1 per game of Pac-Man /Galaga and 25-cents for some dumb Bowling game. (The only thing keeping them from an initial 5-star review is that I found a big ol’ slice of tomato on my burger. When I say«no tomato», I MEANIT!)

you really want to sell me a cheese-less taco? They seem to have new ownership everytime you go there. until recently, and now there menu includes EVERYTHING. its impressive, and not that bad. I had to feed an entire summercamp of kids for a sleepover with a cheap and inexpensive menu featuring everything, and everyone liked what they got, from the hamburgers, to tacos, to the philli steak i had.

This place has been open for about 15 years now but has gone through many ownership changes. Each time they change of course the menu and service does too. Right now its a mix of American, Mexican and a little Greek food. Like I said it has changed owners many times. The best deal is the«Big Taster» which is a larger burger w/everything and BBQ sauce. They usually send out a bunch of coupons for it for $ 3.59 w/fries.
