I’m going to miss this store. It’s, pricey, but it’s LP and they have some really cool stuff. I’ve purchased some of their jewelry(love the virgins and saints stuff) and a few clothing items, as well as candles etc. Right now everything is half off because they are closing this store. So go!

Very cute boutique! I know some people are stating it is pricy but it’s a boutique and it is Chicago. You can find something for yourself or a great gift at many price ranges. They have some amazing jewelry! Some of it is expensive but I believe some(if not all) pieces are hand made. The items are good quality! I love the Virgins, Saints and Angels line but just personally cannot drop that much money on a necklace.(I understand why they are at the price point) They have other jewelry that has Saint Benedict metals on them at a cost that anyone could afford. A sales guy today helped my mom and I and he was such a sweetheart! He really helped explain some of the items we were looking at. My mom bought a cute top that was quite affordable. While I cannot fit in the clothes I did enjoy the experience of the store and still found something that I love! The amazing Tainted Love, Tokyo Milk perfume! It’s amazing!!! I would have dropped more $ but honestly I drove out to the city to hit up Lush. I texted one of my friends the minute I got home to tell her about this store because I know she would love it! So I know I will be back and I can drop more on some of the amazing jewelry I saw! Honestly being from Indiana I am used to going into stores where I cannot fit in the clothes and the staff is rude to me. So silly to do that because I often buy a lot of accessories AND gifts for my thinner friends. I’m so glad the shopping experience here was wonderful! I’m excited to come again!

Tis the season for difficult parking in Lincoln Park. Well, my daughter and I wanted to go to Green Goddess to find a gift for one of her friends. There was no parking anywhere. Desperately searching, I drove down the alley behind the store. And, voila! there was a space marked«Green Goddess». Breathlessly, we sprung from the car and sprinted to the store to get in a speedy gift purchase. However, given my primal fear of being towed, I asked the folks working in the store if one could indeed park in the spot marked«green goddess.» «Oh, no» they said, «that is for employees or the owner.» Really, I thought? Then the store manager jumped in, «Oh, yes, the towing people have license numbers and are constantly checking.» Well, we left — did not make our purchase. Usually, those parking places are monitored by store employees. Certainly, if there were employees who were needing parking(but the store looked fully staffed and one spot would never accommodate all those employee cars), it would be important to keep the spot free. But, a more commercially successful strategy would be, «Oh, that’s parking for the store — we hope you will stay there only while you are in the store shopping. It’s a convenience for our customers especially at this busy time of year.» I guess I should not be surprised. While there are a few cute items in the store, the attitude when one enters and is greeted by «shoplifters will be prosecuted» sign is not welcoming. It seems that they would be much more successful were they to have a pro-costumer, pro-selling perspective. But, maybe this is just a hobby for the owner who merely likes to surround herself with pretty things and has run out of room at home.

IN. LOVE. A new line of Tokyo Milk fragrances, incredibly unique and affordable jewelry designs, a quirky home décor section — yes, there was a Cointreau bottle that doubled as a table lamp! Whether you’re looking for a gift, a creative non-corny greeting card, or something to dazzle yourself, you will undoubtedly find it here. There is just too much cool going on in this store to list. It’s reminiscent of your most stylish friend’s loft, but done in a sort of upscale hippie way. Like Whole Earth Provisions but classier!

I like boutiques and I love The Green Goddess Boutique and I love Armitage Ave. I like unique clothes, jewelry, home décor and they have it. You’ll pay a little more but you won’t see that piece of clothing or earring worn by many other people. Stop by next time your in town even if you just browse.

Love this store. Gorgeous necklaces, great candles. Girls that work here are all super nice and helpful. I hope they do enough business to stay in such a large space though.

I love this part of town and I love this pretty large boutique. The Green Goddess can really make you into a fashion goddess on the budget since they have the cutest clothes at every price point from $ 30 to $ 120. So there is is something for everyone. The sales associates are extremely friendly and always help me with the curtain in one of the fitting rooms. It always gets stock. But they always run to help me. Cheers!
