The Great Frame Up

Wonderful framing experience at The Great Frame Up of Norwood Park.
I was lucky enough to be helped by Victoria who patiently stuck by me as I swayed back and forth between different matting colors, thicknesses, bevel, no bevel, reverse bevel??? etc. I had 5 pieces to frame and wasn’t really sure what I wanted other than a simple black frame and for 2 of the 5 to be floated because of the arts’ deckled edges.
Victoria gave her helpful advice the whole way through and found some unique colored mattings for some of my pieces when white just didn’t seem right. The end result were 5 absolutely beautifully framed pieces of art that look fantastic in my new apartment. The best part? It took them less than 1 week to frame all five! I think it took a month for Michaels to frame 3 other pieces of mine that didn’t even have matting! Victoria even helped me load my art into my trunk!
I really couldn’t be more thrilled. The art looks better than I was even imagining!

I agree 100% with Katherine’s review. I’ve had several items framed here and have been pleased every time. It can be expensive, but here’s how I see it: if it’s something that you treasure and are going to be looking at in your own place, why not splurge a little.
I’ve also had frames that I’ve taken in just to have the hanging cable added on to the back. They’ve been so helpful every time I’m in there. i would definitely recommend this place.

The Great Frame Up gets five stars for a few reasons:
1. They always do a great job.
2. They listen to what you want for your framing needs.
3. They send out coupons every once in a while.
4. The place has great deals and ideas for what you are looking for.
5.The staff is always patient and helpful with undecisive people (me).
6. Your order is processed as fast as they can and it’s never too long.
Definitely the place to go when you want to frame something special– they have everything! It can be a little pricey– but nicely framing things normally is.
