Give me all the breakfast foods! First time this morning, and won’t be my last. I had planned to try the famed chicken and waffles tower but was craving shrimp and grits, which didn’t disappoint as long as you’re not expecting cajun style spice. Luckily, someone else ordered the tower and I snapped a pic. Will definitely try it next time. Not a lot of street parking in the area.

7:25am Tuesday. Not open. Locked shut. Staff sees me, but gives me no indication if they are opening. This is a breakfast place, right?

From the moment I walked in the door, I was greeted with smiles. One waitress(Laura!) recognized me and automatically offered the table I had chosen the time that I came before. And was going to start me off with the beverage I got before. Just so kind. So thoughtful. Then my food came out like BOOM. And THEN, it was so good, I had to remind myself to SLOWDOWN. It’s like, I couldn’t eat it fast enough. I love it here. I could live here. Right at this table. Lol

Ugh, we were pumped when we stopped at jiffy lube & saw this gem next door. The place looks cute, but kind of dirty. The bathroom was disgusting. Service was awful. Slow, lackadaisical, inattentive. The food was just as bad… minus the B&G. Three cheese omelette had no flavor. Zero, zilch, nada. No butter on toast. Never offered any either. Egg white veggie omelette. Bad… so bad. Watery, soggy veggies that did not taste fresh at all. Again, zero flavor. B&G was actually really good… except what’s interesting is they chop up the sausage links & that’s what is in there. I would never come back here. Even my husband said we should’ve went to the vegan place I wanted to go to across the way.

First visit. Excellent food and service. While we didn’t have it this time, the chicken waffle tower looked amazing.

I am giving this place a four starts review because they knew how to provide good service even after some simple mistakes. I count the service and problem solving skills on the staff. The owner came to say ho and asked how our food was, which was a nice gesture. I tried the all organic frittata and it was delicious! Potatoes are awesome too. Coffee wasn’t the best in town, but had good flavor. The waitress forgot to bring me toast but brought me a plane biscuit instead so at the end she admitted her mistake and didn’t charge an extra biscuit. I have to say, this place is a little pricey for brunch and breakfast, but flavor is good. I will go back to this place. Menu seems very interesting.

Eggs Benedict on an untoasted English muffin? A basic error. Cheese omelet over cooked with the cheese on the outside. Weird and not good. They make a big deal out of Virginia Ham… it’s deli sandwich meat. Not worth your time or money.

Been here a few times now and have to say that at every trip we had great customer service. Very pleasant and attentive each time. Which I really appreciate. The food is good. Very good portions. My favorites are the potatoes and bacon. The pancakes are good, but inconsistent. One day they were great, another day they were just ok. One suggestion to management: Please consider providing Half & Half for the coffee. I am not a coffeemate fan, but used it because that is all that was provided. Hey are still fairly new, I’m sure that any kinks will be worked out. I’ll keep going. Good bang for your buck, and no crazy lines.

The food was good but the service was pretty disappointing. This seems to be a recurring theme at this place based on the previous reviews. I called in an order for pickup and when I arrived I was told that one of the items I had ordered(the salmon benedict) was a special and they couldn’t offer it to me. Correct, the website listed that item as a special. But, the hostess told me that their specials change every other weekend and this weekend that item was not on the menu. If that’s the case, LISTTHATINFORMATIONONYOURWEBSITE. If your specials are on a rotating schedule, don’t advertise them as if they are always available. How am I supposed to know that your specials rotate?! The hostess told me that she called me back several times to tell me that the Salmon Benedict wasn’t available. My phone never rang. I asked her what number she dialed and she told me that she just pressed redial several times. That isn’t how redial works. Redial dials the number you most recently dialed. So, I was never notified. She offered me something else that was on special that weekend and I had to sit and wait for them to make it while my other item sat and got cold. When I went to pay for my meal I explained to the hostess how the website was inconsistent. Her reply made it seem like it wasn’t her problem. I get that restaurants make mistakes but at least do something to make up for it. This restaurant did nothing to make the situation right. I will not be coming back.

Great addition to the neighborhood! First time here and we will definitely be back. The Pulled Pork Benedict was excellent! Service was great. Excited to try more dishes!

I was on my way to get gas when I spotted this place. After gas I decided to look for parking and give it a shot. Instantly the greet was awesome, I knew I was going to enjoy my breakfast. My sever recommended the chorizo omelette and it definitely did not disappoint. Very tasteful along side some potatoes, toasted raisin bread, slices of tomatoes and avocado. My server continuously came over to chat with me and to check if I needed anything. Very friendly. Wish more restaurant had servers like him. I wish I could’ve tried all the different variations they have, but I was too full. I will definitely be back next week to try something new!!! I left that place with a very positive attitude, thanks breakfast lounge!

My mom was very excited to take me here. The place wasn’t pack for a Saturday. When we walked in, some of the staff remembered my mom and little sister from previous visit. My sister had their pancake — I’m not too impressed because I like my pancakes fluffy, this was more cakey. I had the salmon Benedict, I’d say I had better. I asked my server if I can substitute anything from my meal and she straight up said no, didn’t even ask what or at least pretend to walk to the kitchen and ask your cook — that was disappointing. I asked if it came with fruit cup and she said no but when my order arrived, it did. Okey, I understand, place is new and maybe server is not familiar with the menu yet but she can do a better job. Overall, I’d come back to try other dish but not with all the excitement.

I am shocked at how many good reviews there are of this place! My girlfriend has been working in the service industry for many years and has not come across such poor service. And we are not the types to complain! Service was slow, when the food was dropped he never came back to check on how we were doing. Never asked if we wanted coffee. Took five minutes to bring out orange juice. Food was undercooked. And there were more servers sitting around doing nothing than there are grammatical and punctuation errors in this review. Very disappointed. I would be embarrassed to send friends or family here

A nice new breakfast spot to check out. We visited on a Saturday morning and were happy to be seated right away. I had a breakfast sandwich with smoked bacon, it was excellent. It was served on Texas toast and my personals preference would have been a little less bread though. my husband had eggs and pancakes and liked them both. Service was attentive and breakfast arrived quickly after ordering. Prices are reasonable.

The place is decent, food okay with not great service. Came with a large group of people(9) for brunch and were seated quickly. Our waitress was nice and friendly but food came out as if we were three separate tables. Two of the people in our party did not get their food until after everyone else finished eating. It appeared as if the kitchen was not prepared to handle the amount of food to be served all at once. The staff was mildly apologetic about the situation. My suggestion, for parties of this size this place should take reservations so staff can be more prepared. Overall food was just okay. That, combined with the service experience, I will not be back.

Already planned our next visit! The charming owner came around and introduced himself while we were eating, he was so personable and genuinely interested in how we were enjoying his restaurant. Also, the guy is on crutches and still cared too much to just sit down, love that! So review the food already, right? We started with a biscuit for my hubs and the parfait for me. If you like lots of granola go for the parfait. Then he got the pulled pork benedict and I got the chicken and waffles. Both were fantastic and portions were excellent for the price!(I will have chicken and waffles for lunch tomorrow). If you go, do not skip the chicken and waffle entrée, presentation is nifty but more importantly the flavor is ONPOINT. Pro tip: If you like Batter and Berries(yum!) but not waiting fifty years for a table, head this way!

The family and I were driving by hungry and I snapped an illegal U-turn when I saw the four-and-a-half star reviews average on Unilocal.Maybe it was already a long Sunday morning with the kids and I really needed a brunch-time adult beverage, maybe it was the tired and recycled Harold’s interior, maybe it was the novice service, but not long after sitting down, I just wasn’t feeling it. The food we ordered was average diner fare and the service we received was fine, but at the price point, I was expecting more. In contrast to some of the other reviews posted today, our food came out quickly. Although we didn’t order it, the chicken and waffles are probably the way to go. If we come back, it will be for that.

My friend and I visited this lovely new establishment this morning around 1030am. They were busy but not too busy to seat us right away. We were greeted by several people and felt welcomed immediately. Our server was very attentive and friendly. The owner Keith came by to check on us(he and my friend had a mutual friend!) The food was absolutely delicious! I ordered the Chef’s choice of chicken and waffles and that was the best decision I made this morning. From start to finish our experience was pleasant. The restaurant is clean and customer service is clearly a priority. We will be back without a doubt!

We tried TBL for the first time this morning and we could not have had a more positive experience. The first thing we noticed was the ambiance. Bright, open space with big windows and comfortable seating. The next thing we noticed was the menu… good variety, ranging from safe choices to more interesting options. There is something for everybody. The service was fast, friendly, and attentive. Our server, Monica could not have been more friendly and helpful. The manager, Brian, came over to our table and started coloring with our daughter. It was unnecessary but so thoughtful and a very nice touch. The food was very good… and appropriately priced. Good portions for your money. It’s already among our favorite breakfast spots!
