Five stars for the physical and occupational therapy; Five stars for the nurse’s aides that do everything from taking meal orders to helping patients with showers to calling maintenance to fix your cable. The doctor is almost never there and the nursing care can be very erratic. I can say that everyone, especially the admissions person, works extremely hard. These are tough jobs and people are here because they need help. That said, the administration is extremely young. I think they mean well, but there is a lack of consistency and communication. If you have a loved one staying here, you really need to stay on top of things and be a squeaky wheel, otherwise, certain things can fall through the cracks. Also, transportation off-site is not well managed. You should plan on making your own arrangements. Most people are friendly and helpful. But you do need to be proactive and ask for what you need. The accommodations are pretty nice and of course, the location is great. Food is also very decent.
