I’ve been eating here for about 5 years. The tacos have gotten considerably smaller, they are no longer serving authentic steak meat(tastes something like pork steak) and everytime I call in an order they screw it up. I placed an order for 3 steak tacos with onions, cilantro and cheese. 3 carnitas just cheese and 2 chicken tacos just cheese. They slapped wads of American cheese on all of the tacos along with onions and cilantro on EVERYTHING. Really, AMERICANCHEESE! Then expected me to drive all the way back to the restaurant to exchange the tacos which I couldn’t do because by then I was home with my babies. All I asked for was a $ 5 credit for the next time I order but the manager refused even though the cook admitted fault. DONOTEVEREATHERE!

Ordered 2 steak tacos with lettuce, sour cream, cheese and tomatoes. Not good! They taste like nothing! Ordered the super nachos and it’s okay. Don’t order the sour cream though, it looks like they make it but it tastes like yogurt. Nothing special about the fries or tamale either. Won’t be ordering anymore.

This place is horrible, I will never order from this place. I placed an order thru grubhub and my order was delivered 20 minutes late, all my food was cold and the meat tasted old and the shake that I was looking forward to was disgusting is looked smelled and tasted spoiled. This place is not even worth 1 star! Of and the Manger is extremely rude and denied all of this. By the way we ended up throwing all the food and having to order from a different restaurant.

I always have called in to this place and there has always been an issue… I only get the menudo from here because they sell it 7 days a week but over the last 2 mos the portions has decreased drastically. Never had the tacos or burritos so I can’t rate.

nasty! no stars deserved! their drinks are nasty ! they use cheap shit! i could taste it. and the service was horrible. 4 of us and we all got our drinks different times. we had to wave down diffrent waitress every time. we could of left without paying that’s how bad they don’t attend you. and tip was inclined 15 dollars, they didn’t not deserve any. they don’t even check up if we need anything and their attitudes sucks. terrible management! !!! and wayyyyyy over priced for some cheap nasty drinks!!! to top it of we didn’t even get card. don’t go here its really bad.

I got the«carne asada plate» and the steak had a fishy taste! Absolutely disgusting. They definitely cooked it were they had cooked fish or something. Their steak tacos are okay nothing special. The service is horrible! Do not come here

Myself and my wife wanted Mexican food. we went to a place a little further north however they were packed! no place to sit or stand(I wonder why) anyway we did ask a waitress how long of a wait and they told her about 45mins she didn’t want to wait that long. so on the way back home. we saw this place. First thing we noticed was not that many people here at all. we did get seated right away. I happened to also see the one and only waitress their was busy flirting with two men at another table. she didn’t even realize we were there. so had to call her over. ordered since we been staring at the menu for quite we waited for our order to come which took way too long when it did arrive it was bland at best. tacos were dry. meat was cold my wife looked at me like we just made a big mistake! I have to admit the coffee was good. to be perfectly honest when we left we walked across the street we said to one another never again here. I know we will not be going back. service is poor . food is not good at all.

If I could give it zero, I would. We ordered 2 chicken tacos and the steak taco dinner. While the steak tacos were not the best; dry and flavorless. The worst part was that one of the chicken tacos had raw chicken in it! We called not asking for our money back but just to inform them, and the young lady on the phone put me on hold, then came back on the line to tell me that it could not be raw bc they cook all the chicken for the tacos in the morning! Um, so not only is there raw chicken in my tacos, but you’re also telling me that you don’t make them fresh?! Disgusting!!! Needless to say, I will not be ordering from El Ranchito Restaurant again.

In the mood for what you think is gonna be a good time? Well consider it a bad and a waste of time. The only reason I came here was because I there was menu placed right on my front doorstep. I glanced really quickly at the menu, saw $ 7.95 price tag for margaritas and immediately wanted to go there. Later that same day, I happened to go there on a date… ordered myself a torta dinner and my significant other order a burrito. The food was mediocre. Nothing you can’t get somewhere else for cheaper. But the lemon margaritas… since they notified us that was meant for delivery only they poured it into a megatron jumbo sized to-go-cup which of course no one here was complaining because the size of that thing was epic. In all sincerity here though, we were a couple dining in… presentation looked bad but I guess you get what you pay for at this particular location. Anyways, I ordered the advertised margarita showing them the flyer as well as having sent a text message as advertised on the flyer stating that I would receive a free dessert by showing the waitress the sent received text message. Then the waitress went to confirm to her manager which he said that that was only meant for delivery only… mind you I checked all over the menu flyer beforehand to make sure that it is eligible. No problems here though, because after the waitress talked to her manager and seeming it was our first time there, we got the go ahead. The problem started when waitress never came back to check up on us. Never asked how things were. Customer service was just terrible. We were there stranded when we realized that our waitress had left because her shift was done and she didn’t have the decency to tell us. We thought about dining and ditching for a while. That’s how terrible it was and we might as well should have. I don’t think they would have had a clue. So my bf had to pay up front and I still needed a napkin! I never got my free advertise dessert either! Don’t waste your time here. Terrible everything. Nasty smell included.

Terrible. Ordered from them because they deliver to my hotel and I was craving Mexican. I ordered through their website and when I tried to confirm the order it prompted me to sign up and create a password which I thought was a bit of a hassle, so I picked up the phone and called to order. Only, when I ordered my food, all the prices were different than on the website. When I questioned the price difference the guy was like«I don’t know, I’m telling you the prices» So I said I’d try to order online. Hung up the phone and ordered online. The order took an hour and 10 minutes to arrive. The man arrived and the bill was for a different amount than i was quoted online. By a few bucks, in my favor, and I didn’t feel like dealing with with so I didn’t say anything. I had requested extra cheese, extra sour cream and extra tortillas, and none of those things were in the bag. The food was super oily, like, there was a POOL of oil at the bottom of the container about a centimeter deep. So disgusting.

Where should I start? Received their menu from one of their employees walking in to our office with them a couple of weeks ago. Thought I’d give the place a try. Loved that they have such large menu & delivery. I ordered from their website I pulled directly from their menu . After spending a couple of minutes looking over all my choices I decided to get one of the lunch combos to try a couple of different things. My order one taco steak, one tostada beef one enchilada chicken, one horchata, one order of chips & one order of guacamole. delivery time 45 minutes+. I thought OK that’s average for most places. They called me almost an hour later telling me they were here. Ummm no your not. Are you at a church? No I am not at a church. Is… your address? Yes but that is not where your delivery driver is because our address is not a church we are between this street & this street. 10 minutes later lunch arrived. Yes it was cold. driver hands it over & says your total is … Wait just a minute that is not the price I was given or confirmed with from your website the receipt he handed me was around $ 2.00 more. So I called the store & was put on hold multiple times to speak to the one woman who takes care of «take out» orders. While waiting I hand the Driver a large bill to pay for my meal informing him I will only pay the price I was Confirmed at but will send him back with both receipts. He informed me he did not have change for that large of a bill. When I placed the order I added a note requesting that they bring enough change to break it. They obviously ignored that part of the order or their system just doesn’t work right. He was nice & walked down the block leaving his wallet as collateral to buy something & break the bill for me. I eventually spoke to someone at the restaurant who informed me that sometimes prices change! Yes but I did not order off of the menu I ordered off of your website where the pricing should be accurate. There was a note when you first log on the website stating a 20% discount would apply to your first order which would be close to the difference but shouldn’t they then be aware of that when they are ringing the order up in on site? I ended up paying what I was confirmed & she apologized for the issues. I reheated the Taco, Tostada & Enchilada in our microwave. The rice & beans I skipped because I did try them while they were cold & they didn’t really have any flavor. The guac. was OK, the chips were just chips. The taco was good there was a good amount of steak I did pull out a couple of pieces of fat but it wasn’t the whole taco so it didn’t bother me. The chicken enchilada was a little skimpy compared to the amount of meat on the taco but still had good flavor. Then there was the Tostado, the ground beef was a little watery and after the 3rd bite I found a hair in it under the melted cheese. The remainder of my lunch was thrown out. I understand it happens at the best & worst restaurants it shouldn’t but it does. That being said I might given them another chance months down the road but I will not because l got sick from their food later in the day. Basically don’t bother it’s not worth the hassle in anyway!

Found this place to be open super late AND they delivered? Sounds like a good deal right? Wrong. Probably never ordering delivery from this place again. I placed my order through Unilocal at 2:10 am. Called around 2:55 am to see the status of the delivery and the lady on the phone said«we just received it ten minutes ago.» Oh okay… funny because I ordered a while ago. I call back at 3:30ish to see if the driver was close and I’m pretty sure the girl said he was leaving. The driver didn’t come until just about 4am. No apology, no recognition of lateness, nothing. I paid over 30 $ for late delivery and mostly cold food at that time? Couldn’t say I was too happy with El Ranchito. What sucks is that I’ve heard great things about them but they truly disappointed me as a customer that could have been loyal. Sorry not sorry but your customer service sucks.

In the mood for a burrito… they got it In the mood for a jibarito… they got it In the mood for some pasta dishes… they got it Looking for some breakfast… they got it The question should be, what don’t they offer?! This place has quite an extensive menu. They seem to have EVERYTHING you can think to eat. I finally gave in and decided to try El Ranchito. I ordered a carne asada burrito to go. I waited no more than a few minutes when the waitress brought me my burrito. It was a decent size for $ 7, but it tasted just«ok» I felt the meat was a little too salty, but the refried beans were delicious(so next time I’m getting a veggie burrito). I think I might come back sometime, especially since they have daily drink specials… I mean where else could I get a martini for $ 2.50 or a Corona for $ 1.25.

They fucking suck! Just got my food. 5 tacos 2 burritos quesadilla and a hot dog for my baby. My food arrives cold. My quesadilla isn’t missing. I call them to inform them that it’s missing and the dumb bitch that answers the phone wants to argue with me and tell me they said they sent everything. At this point I’m annoyed. I work at a restaurant as a full time manager. I kiss my customers asses weather they be at fault or us. Yes I snapped. I told her I’d bring the fucking food back and fling it at her ass. Love this place for delivery! Who would think a place that has great Mexican would be so good and cheap! Great tacos, fajitas, tamales, whole deep fried fish and menudo. Delivery menu is huge, but lots of great plate specials, ie mixed tacos etc. they wrap all condiments individually and with care. Got a brochure on my fence, and so glad I gave hem a try!

Terrible. Terrible. Terrible. First of all, they messed up my order. Second, it was cold. Finally, when I called(GrubHub) to complain they told the guy they wanted the food back which is fine because i didnt plan on eating it but still. If you are at fault for screwing something up you could at least make the effort to make things right. Just sayin. Even the GrubHub rep had a good laugh about them asking for it back. Smh

I don’t know about El Ranchito’s dine-in experience but I wouldn’t recommend them for delivery. The delivery time was estimated to be 45 minutes but they took about 2 hours. I ordered a salad with out meat or dairy, and specified that dairy includes sour cream, cheese, and possibly any dressing they put on. Considering they categorize themselves as vegetarian friendly in an otherwise non vegetarian friendly part of town, I was expecting my request to be something they’re used to. I don’t even think my salad was vegetarian, never mind vegan. It had a layer of sour cream all over the top and refried beans all over the bottom. In the center was some lettuce, peas(odd but I kind of liked it), a lot of guacamole, and yellow rice. Yellow rice and refried beans are not usually vegetarian in similar Mexican restaurants, so I worry these were no exception. Even if they were, I’m partial to black beans. They included a lot of extra salsa and other sauces, which was nice. They did not add cheese or dressing, per request, which was also appreciated. I can forgive them for the questionable rice/beans(I should have looked into it more before ordering) and even the heap of sour cream, but eating at 9pm as opposed to 7:30pm is no bueno.
