I’ve had falafel and hummus from many places, and their falafel sandwich is one of the very best. I always ask for extra hummus, and the balance of ingredients is perfect, between the falafel, hummus, and Jerusalem salad. The portion size is pretty big, so for someone with a smaller appetite, as I have, I eat twice from one sandwich. Also, the price is amazing for what you get, in regards to the size and quality. Four bucks and a little change is such a great deal, especially for Lincoln Park. Keep up the good work!

4.5 stars. Cheap, Fast, Easy, delicious. For $ 4 you can get a loaded schwarma or falafel sandwich, or for $ 7 you can get a dinner plate with rice, hummus, your choice of salad, and your choice of meat that will fill you up and leave leftovers(if you’re a small eater this’ll be two meals easy). It’s a small place but the guy behind the counter and the girl behind the cash register are super nice and helpful, and the food is usually great(though very rarely the schwarma may be a little dry, which docks half a star).

Come here if you’re hungry and want to get your money’s worth. The portion sizes are very generous for their cheap prices. Their salad bar has decent variety, with the stuffed grape leaves being my favorite item from it. The meat dishes were overcooked, but when dipped in the hummus it wasn’t too bad.

Delicious food and very cheap too. I ordered the spicy falafel sandwich and chx shwarma dinner and it was delivered right to my apartment in 30 min, all for only $ 13, including the delivery. I just got home from a trip to the middle east and needed a quick Mediterranean fix. This hit the spot! I’ll definitely be ordering from here again!

The amount of food you get is definitely worth the price! Chicken is not dry, the rice is good, and lots of hummus!(Also comes with your choice of salad and pita bread). A small place so not that many tables but many people get take-out. The staff is nice as well. Definitely going back!

Good, clean and cheap(we thought they had made a mistake $ the first time we went there). I love the falafel sandwich and the staff is always so nice. You can choose from spicy to mild. The salad bar is great and don’t forget the baklavas… mmm. yum. This is a place where you can b a regular and feel always welcome.

Cheap, quick, delicious, fresh, relatively healthy and filling. Big dinner plate for $ 8 and it lasts for two meals. Took my parents here(they’re from the middle east) and they wanted to go back the following week. I like the meatpies to start, and the shawarma platters. Hummus, baba ganouj, jerusalem salads all on point.

Overall: THE best spot for cheap, easy, and delicious Mediterranean. Will definitely be back! The good: Super cheap, but big portions. Nothing over like $ 8, but the sandwiches are under $ 5 and are huge. Delicious food, from the hummus to the Jerusalem salad to the spicy sauce. My chicken shawarma sandwich was awesome. Very friendly service. They even hooked us up with free«leftover» dessert pastries from the café next door that were going to be thrown out at the end of the night. And they were good! The bad: Small seating space if you’re going to eat there, especially with 3+ people. Atmosphere: 8⁄10 Service: 10⁄10 Food: 9⁄10

Such a great place. The food is surprisingly cheap($ 3.75 for a big falafel sandwich). Lamb shawarma is hard to find, but this place has it too. The food is excellent and they don’t skimp on portions. If you’re interested, there’s a big salad bar on the right that always looks good as well. Seating is small and crammed, so I recommend taking out.

Huggge fan of their spicy falafel sandwich! Very tasty and not hard on the wallet, particularly for the area. The lentil rice is very good as well. The lentil soup, however, is not my favorite. The seating is limited and not good for large groups. There is also a salad bar that I’ve never seen anyone use…

I came here spontaneously in the morning to pick up food for lunch. The gentleman at the register was so very kind and when I asked for recommendations on the dinner plates, he said the chicken was the most popular. I was craving lamb so I did half chicken and half lamb and he also did half/half on the two different rice they had. This dinner came with a side of hummus, tabouli salad, and two pita breads. Came home to realize that the PORTIONSWEREHUGE! So glad that the gentleman recommended the chicken because it was much much better than the lamb – the lamb was really dry. Both rice dishes were on point. The hummus and tabouli was good but nothing too special. Definitely get the hot sauce! Great service, fresh and filling food. Thumbs up!

What this Middle Eastern place does it does well. The salad bar is fresh and has a variety of items that always include some things that aren’t that typical on salad bars, like roasted cauliflower, anchovies, humus and baba ganoush. The dinners come with a choice of white or brown rice, tabouli and/or Jerusalem salad. Everything is delicious, and the young guys who work there couldn’t be nicer. Yes, the place is the size of a postage stamp, and the seating area is not generous. But oddly enough, I’ve always found a place to sit comfortably on all my visits, and hopefully, so will you too.

Cheap, filling, and delicious!!! My personal favorites are the falafel sandwich(approx. $ 4) and the meat combo platter(approx. $ 8). The falafel sandwich comes in a pita stuffed with falafel, hummus, sauce, and greens. It’s very filling and such a godsend for vegetarians. Back when I was a vegetarian, this was one of the few things that was cheap and left me feeling satisfied. The combo platters are so big they can easily feed two people for lunch. I cannot remember specifics, but it come with rice, pita, hummus, trio of meats(lamb, chicken, sausage??? don’t remember exactly), and a cucumber salad. The plate literally overflows with food. Everything was well seasoned and fresh. This is basically fast food done right. You won’t find a pool of oil on your plate or any questionable cuts of meat. If you are in Bucktown or Lincoln Park and need a cheap place to eat, this is definitely the go-to spot.

I ended up visiting this wonderful gem at lunch today. I ended up getting the vegetarian combo it was just absolutely delicious. There was nothing about this meal that I did not enjoy and I even ended up taking my leftovers to go for dinner. I will definitely be back here again!

Holy Mediterranean food! This location is very small, but has a small salad bar and a few tables at the front. The food is fabulous! And you’re talking to someone who usually makes her own hummus, tabouli, tzatziki, falafel, etc. I had the falafel sandwich: pita bread filled with hummus, lettuce, cucumber salad, and crunchy falafel. I also ordered a small side of rice with lentils topped with tabouli. First off, the hummus is so creamy and mild. I usually like mine with loads of garlic and lemon, but this was a very simple hummus, creamy and nutty. It was so good, I could drink it! I got an additional side of it for 50 cents! The falafel was crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. It was good, but not the best I’ve ever had. It did kind of have a grainy texture that I didn’t like. The rice with lentils were also really good – flavorful, hearty, and the tabouli on top gave it a great fresh, green crunch! I was stuffed half way through my food, and all of it only came to $ 8! If you like chicken or lamb schwarma, lentil soup, baba ghanoush, or any other Mediterranean food, you’ve got to check this place out! It’s great for vegetarians! The salad bar sells by the pound, or you can grab a sandwich or dinner platter! YUM!

What a find! In town visiting and craving some good middle eastern eats, Unilocal brought us to this neighborhood and ultimately Sultan’s Market. I cannot believe what a bargain this is considering the amazing quality of food and quantity you get for the price. They even deliver! Our party tried a bit of everything — the vegetarian plate, shwarma, baba ganuj, jersalem salad, zatar bread, and some flatbreads. There wasn’t one disappointment on the table. Huge shout out for the baba ganuj, probably one of my favorite renditions yet. The eggplant was smoky rather than sour and even went well over the rice. Both rices were delicious and the falafel were to die for. The salad bar looked pretty stellar and you pay by the pound for what seems to be a great deal. We brought a group of 6 here, and while the seating was super tight(aka after us there were 2 other tables for 2) we would have happily taken it to-go. I’ll be back in Chi-town for a work trip next month and look forward to grabbing some grub here again.

This is a great little neighborhood hole-in-the-wall for Mediterranean food. Growing up, my best friend was Lebanese and I often would join their family dinners to enjoy food I had never experienced before — tabbouleh, grape leaves, falafel, you name it! Everything was homemade and delicious. Nowadays, it’s turned into a sort of a comfort food for me, as it takes me back to those childhood memories. Sultan’s definitely does the trick. It’s quick, affordable, and tasty! I ordered the chicken shawarma dinner to go(~$ 7) and upon settling into the feast, was transported to my happy place. The only thing I would switch out for next time is the tabbouleh salad — it was a bit dry and not to my tastes. But I’ll definitely be back to try more of their menu and maybe make some new memories :)
