I heart Study Hall so much. My style airs on the side of mostly basics, some florals, and lots of dresses. Every time I go in, I walk out with a cute and functional new addition to my wardrobe.(Good for my style, worse for my wallet, especially given that I live a block away.) The items(especially dresses) I’ve gotten are moderately priced and can be worn both casually and at work. Super friendly staff and great sale section in the back, too!

Study Hall is my go-to shop. It is a about a 7 minute walk from my apartment and I am guaranteed to find something every time I go in! The style of the store is trendy and fun but also has some chill pieces too. What I love is that I can find things that can transition from work to personal time so easily and most prices are super reasonable. Also, the owner is a doll! Most of the time I spend half of my time in the store chatting with her. :)

Tasteful and adorable clothes! The layout is great and there are many interesting things to look at on the various nooks, shelves, and tables throughout the store.

I ventured in as I had time to kill waiting for my cousin to meet me for lunch. It is a vibrant store with so many pretty things to look at. There are clothes for men and women here, accessories, and more. The items seem pretty unique and fun. Lots of bold patterns and things that visually stand out. The items were a little on the pricey side for me. The girl working here was very nice and friendly. Great for window shopping or those that are looking for a special gift.

A welcome addition to a blah stretch of Ashland. Owners/staff super friendly and the items are eclectic and fun. Love the clothes, wish I had money to be even more supportive. Shop local and support our new neighbors!

A delightful boutique on Ashland Avenue. The owner is very friendly and answers questions thoroughly. What I enjoy most about this place is the changing themes for each season. In the summer, Study Hall had a great selection of tank tops, beach bags, shorts, and shoes that fit their focus on Marushka, a colorful hand block print style artist. In the fall, there was a focus on Indie rock in the 90s, and there were plaid pullovers, vinyl records, indie rock books and unique accessories abound. Now in the winter, the focus is on the tv program Northern Exposure, with soft knits and hues of brown and dark blues. I’ve shopped here a couple times and everything has been quality. A great place to get someone a birthday or holiday gift, or to stock up on seasonal apparel for yourself. A+.
