St Helen Festival

This might just be the last street fest of the year for me, we’ll see. It’s pretty small comparatively speaking and it really does cater to the kids which was fantastic for the boy and his bestie. Only about a dozen rides in total but they were fun and precisely in line w what a few four year olds were looking for.
They do have a beer garden/​stage area but you cannot take the beverages outside and on to the Midway which I found to be good for keeping the hipster, yupster massive away.
For the most part it’s family oriented and Ukranian sort of thing and this one was a good close out to 2011’s Summer fests.
