My first time coming to Dr. hampton for a check up. I was able to quickly book an appointment using zocdoc. I was in desperate need to find a new obgyn for my issue. Make sure to fill out medical history before hand because it could delay your appointment. The Receptionist actually sent it to me previously through email the night before. I neglected to check my email. That was my fault. But he let me fill it out at the office and got me into see Dr. hampton right after, so that was awesome. I see a lot of reviews talking about how rude he is. I had nothing but a pleasant experience from him, he even offered me cookies :). Overall Dr. hampton was very thorough with my examination and answered all my questions patiently. Shes a great doctor!

how does one give negative stars? what would that look like? i never got to see dr. hampton b/​c the surgeon that served as the receptionist for today disgusted me.
here is how the phone conversation went:
man: are you of chinese descent?
me: (pause. what does it matter?). i’m vietnamese.
man: oh that’s good. we were there.
me: why were you there? (maybe vacation?)
man: oh, i’m french. we were there for a long time. before the americans.
me: yes, yes you were there for a LONG time.
man: and you enjoyed us.
You enjoyed us? The Vietnamese enjoyed French colonization and imperialism? Is that why there was a war against the French occupation of Vietnam? No, we did not enjoy you.
WHO THE HELL SAYS THIS? LET ALONE WHEN SOMEONE IS TRYING TO BOOK AN APPOINTMENT TO SEE THE DOCTOR? WHO? appointment cancelled. awful.

The only reason this office does not have a perfect score is because of the guy at the front desk. He does not look happy to be there. Other than that Dr. Hampton is great. She makes you feel comfy and is very experienced. Have been going here for years and other women I know also visit her. Have seen this Dr in action during a labor and she is truly a pleasure to work with. I love this Dr.
The office is clean, very modern, and they have smooth jazz playing– it helps with making you feel at ease.

Dr. Hampton was wonderful. She has such a pleasant personality, which made the exam a breeze. My hubby came with me to this office visit because we both had questions about having children in the future and she was happy to entertain all of them (and I’m sure we asked a lot!). The office was nice: clean and up-​to-​date with newer looking equipment. The front desk was pleasant as well.
The doctor was a little behind in seeing me because she had two deliveries during my appointment time. I’m not sure which hospital she delivers at, but hopefully it’s not a crappy one so I don’t have to worry about finding a new doctor once my hubby and I are expecting.
