Crystal is amazing. I have followed her everywhere and her new salon is my absolute favorite. Warm, inviting, and great music.
Her haircuts, styles and color are remarkable! She really listens to your requests and makes them a reality.
Recently she gave me the Pro Fiber treatment and it took my hair from dry and lifeless to shiny and soft. AMAZING PRODUCT! I highly recommend. I have tried other «treatments» before and never noticed a difference. This stuff is different. Try it.
She also gives amazing men’s haircuts. My husband has literally never looked better!

If I could give Crystal’s work 6 stars I would! I have been going to Crystal for 7 years now and followed her around the city. Before I had my first cut with her I couldn’t find a stylist that knew the latest trends or could interpret my description through cutting and styling! Every time I went back to her she had recorded (in detail) everything we talked about and did the appointment before. Her expertise in balayage is amazing and I get compliments on my hair daily! Thank you Crystal for beautifying my DO!!!

After looking at balayage pictures for 2 years I decided to give it a try. I was referred to Crystal by a good friend who has similar natural dark hair (my hair is so naturally dark that it has blue undertones). From the moment I stepped into her salon I felt at ease with the change I was about to make. After a consultation on what I wanted my hair to look like, Crystal was fast at work mixing the hair dye. I am beyond thrilled at the end result, she worked her magic and was an even better result than the picture that I showed her! I strongly recommend Crystal to anyone wanting to take their natural hair color for a fun ride.

It took years to find the right stylist, which I did when I found Crystal at another salon several years ago. I transitioned to her new salon (despite it being further away and thus less convenient) because she is worth it.
I especially love how she knows (my) hair, which is evident in the fact that she cuts and adds texture in ways that works well with my hair type. Also appreciate that she asks questions and listens, and then uses her creative skillz to cut or color and a whole new do. I often get compliments on my hair, thanks in part to Crystal.
Her space is lovely and urban chic. I wouldn’t hesitate in highly recommending her, except that I don’t want her to become overbooked :)

Crystal is amazing! I’ve been going to her for almost 5 years and have never had anything but an amazing experience. Her new place is perfect with such a great vibe, and adding Megan has helped enrich the environment at Sogna di Vita. I love that I can go to Crystal with an idea in mind, she listens and then executes what I want, not just what we did last time or what she wants to do. I don’t live in Chicago anymore, but I travel back almost 6 hours a few times a year to have her do my balayage/​color/​cuts! Can’t recommend a better place to go!

I just wanted to update my review. Just visited the salon a few days ago, and was so happy to hear that Crystal stays on top of her balayage game by taking classes and getting certifications. I have such an appreciation for people who are continually perfecting their craft! I as always LOVE my hair and I’ll say that she recently hired a new stylist Meghan who did an impressive job on the gal next to me! You really cannot go wrong with this salon, top notch service, atmosphere and FAB hair!

I’m such a fan of this place! Crystal does the best color in the city and I refuse to go anywhere else. I’ve been coming to Crystal for cut/​color for two years and used to travel over an hour to do so. Her new salon is awesome! I highly recommend!

Crystal is the perfect hairstylist in the best location! Her salon is elegant, yet cozy which is exactly what I look for in a salon. She is easy to book through by email and greets you by name when you enter the salon. She takes to heart exactly what you are looking for and gives the best head masages. She has done bayalage on my hair several times and I get so many compliments for the color and cut! Crystal also did my wedding hair as well as 7 of my bridesmaids. When one girl saw another’s hair being done, she could not wait for her hair to be done. The updos were perfectly curled and lasted the entire 14 hour day with dancing and trolley rides thrown in there. Make an appointment as soon as you can and you will be so happy you did!

I can’t tell you what a blessing it was to find Crystal. She is a pro. Customer service is top, her skills are amazing and salon is gorgeous. She is doing my hair for my wedding and I am thrilled/​lucky I found her. Don’t hesitate to make an appointment!

Love Crystal. She’s been my hair dresser for about 18 mos now. I was very nervous looking for a new hair dresser after moving to Chicago. Crystal is a such a good listener on what works for me. I feel so comfortable going to her. the space is great, she really cares and does a great job.
Highly recommend.

You cant find anyone better than Crystal, I have crazy curly easy to damage hair that is impossible to deal with that most of the time I would cover my head with a bandana and when it comes to getting it styled and finding anyone that can get it right is hell. Every time when I go to Crystal it’s perfect!
Most times when you find someone this good they tend to lack in customer service (you know the type they often feel there above everyone else), this is not the case with Crystal, once you go see her you’ll never let anyone else touch your hair, that was the case with me, when I first went to her I was so fed-​up with my hair that I told here cut it any way she things it will not just look good but be easy for me to get ready every morning. I left it completely up to her and she got it right, everyone loved how my hair looked. Even now almost 2 years later she always get it right and I get compliments.

I’ve been going to Crystal for over 3 years for haircuts because she’s the best. No matter what look I’m going for she nails it every time. I have been going to Crystal for about 3 years now. I followed her from another salon and love her new place, Sogna di Vita! Her salon is so very adorable and cozy and so easy to get to. Parking is not annoying like a lot of other places because it’s free street parking… oh and she has the best coffee!
But let me get down to what’s most important… the HAIR!!! I trust Crystal completely with my cuts and colors and my hair always turns out beautiful! I always get compliments on my balayage, and I recommend anyone looking for amazing color to go see Crystal! p. s. she gives a great head massage while she’s shampooing you. Es fabuloso! Crystal is the best in town! She is sweet, fun, and really listens to what you’d like done with your hair. She has a fantastic vision for life and hair, alike. Her new salon is warm and inviting. If you haven’t visited Sogna di Vita yet — you should check it out!

Crystal has mad skills when it comes to cutting hair. I found her a couple years ago and she seriously gave me the best haircut of my life. Now I live in LA and I just got my first haircut here and it’s just not the same. I don’t think I will even try out here anymore. I will be heading to Crystal next time I am in Chicago to have her work her magic and continue to make the trips back home for all of my hair needs!

I recently received the Balayage hair painting technique and cut from Crystal. She took a lot of time in asking what kind of color I wanted and what would fit best with my features and skin tone. The color came out great and I received several compliments on both my color and the cut.
On top of being great at her craft, she is very friendly and concerned with how her clients feel about their results. Overall, I had a great experience with Crystal and I would definitely recommend her.
