What can you say about Snuggles? A true mom and pop operation operated by a sweet couple who care about their work.
Shirts are pressed perfectly every time. They can turn things around in a snap and can even handle oversized items like area rugs and curtains. A true one stop shop.
But what’s most refreshing is they know who you are. I don’t even have to give them my ticket. I walk in, they give me a warm hello and there’s my order up on the hanger for me to take away. Love that personal touch in a city as large and anonymous as Chicago.
Plus — there’s all kinds of candy in the front you can have for free! Tootsie pops, Twizzlers, you name it! I feel like I’m 5 all over again.
Definitely worth a visit. Excellent work, friendly service at a great price. Thank you Snuggles!

The best! They are always happy to see you here and after you go a few times they’ll remember your name. I don’t even bring a slip to get my clothes anymore. Good prices and always do a fine job with your clothes. I like this place so much I come out of my way to take my clothes here since moving to the Gold Coast.

This place is the best dry cleaner around. Hands down! You can bring in stacks of clothing and have it back super quickly if you need it.
They can fix almost anything and have in my suit coats: rips, tears cuts etc. (yes I do a lot of fighting in my suit). Everything they’ve fixed for me is practically unnoticeable, looks like the original.
The prices are great.
The hours are great.
The location is great.
They have candy.
They always seem happy to see me.
I highly recommend a visit!

Love these guys — I do all my dry cleaning here for dress shirts and suites. They’ve never messed up a single item and are always super friendly.
I’ve also had them hem some pants and fit an old suit coat I got from Goodwill. All high-​quality work.

The nicest people ever! I saw their sign for «same day service» but neglected to notice that items needed to be in by 9 AM in order to take advantage of that. I came in desperate with a pair of white pants and a white skirt that I needed that evening, and they took my things! Both were done and cleaned by 5:30 PM and they’re open until 7 PM. SO GREAT. I will be back to give them my business since they were so accommodating.

This little corner cleaners is a half block away from my house, and in addition to convenience, Snuggle Cleaners is affordable and does a great job. I’ve never received any alterations or shoe repair, which I know they offer, but I go here every week for my dry cleaning and have never been disappointed.
They offer same day service, and the two owners affable, hardworking people. This evening I showed up to pick up some shirts and there were 4 people waiting in line. The two owners were hurrying as quick as possible to accommodate everyone. I’m pretty sure they know me by last name too now, which also helps when I (often) forget my claim ticket.
Affordable, family owned, and convenient – I’m having trouble seeing why anyone would go to a chain cleaners like CD One Price or others.

Been going here for several years. Such nice and friendly owners. Lakeview needs more businesses like this.
I’ve forgotten my receipt multiple times now because I’m a scatterbrain, and they just know who I am and its never a hassle. They do super quick turnarounds too, and when the made-​to-​measure shirt I ordered for my wedding arrived with only a day to spare, they were able to have it dry cleaned and ready for me in time for the wedding and saved the day.
I have not had anything tailored here so can’t speak to those services, but from a cleaning perspective they are affordable, local, and awesome.

We have had consistently positive experiences with Snuggles for our weekly dry cleaning and minor alterations (hems, sewing pockets, etc). After a couple of visits, they remember your name, and they don’t mind that I always lose my ticket. They are always punctual with my orders, and they’re really really nice. Definitely a fan and highly recommend Snuggles.

This review is only about the tailoring done at Snuggle Cleaners. I brought a bridesmaids dress in to be hemmed and taken in. I was quoted a fair price and told that it would be ready in a week. Indeed it was done in a week, but done very poorly.
The dress was taken in too much (can still get it on, but it is uncomfortable) and the zipper is already coming out (I’ve put it on once). Consequently i will have to take it to a different place to have the zipper mended and will be very uncomfortable for the duration of the wedding that I will be standing up in.

«It not my fault». That’s what I was told after learning that this cleaners had DESTROYED a lovely summer dress of mine that I had worn once to a wedding. Not once did they apologize, and they refused to compensate me for it, claiming that it was the fault of the manufacturer. I told them that I would have to drive out to the suburbs to replace it, and they STILL didn’t apologize or offer any compensation. In the end, I was unable to replace this dress. I will not return to Snuggle’s. As a side note, their «original hem» technique is awful! I don’t recommend taking expensive jeans there for hemming.

Awesome place. They give my wife and I a gift every Christmas, take care of our mending and tailoring, never have an issue getting things back quickly and best of all, we never have to givem them our names; when they see us coming up to the door, they start to get the stuff off of the rack straight away.
