Working as a volunteer with Sit Stay Read is awesome. The people are so kind, and the kids looooove the program. So many of these kids don’t know nice dogs, so to be a part in providing that to them, as well as get them excited about reading, is so rewarding.

I have been volunteering with Sit Stay Read for about 2 years now. I have been involved with other volunteer organizations and I have never worked with a team so organized and results oriented as the SSR folks. You know you are making a real difference! Working with the students is also fun and rewarding. As a bonus I get to bring my dog along!!! However, you don’t need to have a dog to volunteer. I highly recommed getting involved with SSR!
