Ryan Babbitt

Ryan is a great conversationalist and an even better hair stylist. I don’t get my hair cut that often but he always makes it look amazing and it grows out beautifully.
He really understands what type of style I am trying to get for each season. Over the past few years he has started to cut the hair of pretty much every woman in my family.

…as someone who often experienced hair cut trauma as a child… I now look forward and LOVE my outings at the tsubo with ryan babbitt. tsubo is cool with it’s warehouse environment and somehow perfect pitch music playing… but it’s ryan babbitt who makes the world go round. I was introduced to his work through friends in ’08. they showed up with killer haircuts and raved about him (crazy good rave not crazy bad). ryan takes time Every Time he cuts my hair. he’s all about embracing what your hair does naturally. as opposed to styling your hair to keep up with the latest fad, he works with you and your hair to Not Imitate someone else but to create the best, the most authentic You. sorry if that sounds hippy-​dippy. but you won’t walk out with a great ‘do that was the product of hair gel and fancy dryer moves that will be tedious to create on your own. you (and by you I mean me) walk out with a smashing look that will be easy to maintain. full disclosure: I don’t spend a great deal of time working on my hair. I’m a wash ‘n wear kind of gal. I use a diffuser to dry my hair to encourage my soft curls to hold. and on a personal level, ryan is very mellow & very present. he’s totally okay with the fact I like to just enjoy the haircut without a lot of talking. is it okay to say my hair & head feel like they just got laid after a session with ryan? it’s relaxing and exhilarating and the world just seems happier during and after…
