Ravenswood Manor Park

This neighborhood is a 5 star Unilocal neighborhood. However, I’m a little surprised that the park equipment is a bit run down. Moreover, wood chips are very outdated. They need to update the equipment and put down the rubberized surface. Overall, it is a very cute neighborhood park and is still relatively clean.

As someone who doesn’t have kids, I never really give parks any thought. However, I recently had some friends over with their kids, and we headed to the park. Based on the kids’ reactions and my keen observations, this is a great little neighborhood park.
There are plenty of swings and a couple of large play systems (which I ignorantly referred to as jungle gyms… I’m so 1980.). The kids had a blast, and the other folks in the park were very friendly.
Pluses for adults with or without kids: Merle’s coffee shop is a half block away if you want something to sip on while watching your kids. Additionally, there is often live music on the weekends and even a play or two during the week!
