Best, best, best Polish rye bread I’ve ever had! The store is clean if a bit crowded, but the employees are friendly and helpful every time I come here. Also, they have a huge selection of European candy that is heavenly! It doesn’t look like much from the outside, but you’ll be pleasantly surprised by what’s inside… I promise!

I shop there once a week. Stopping by for the kabanosy– smoked, tiny polish sausage. Other that I like the teas from Europe, ready-to-soups and love those apples and peaches. Always fresh! Also, for Polish people like me, they got pretty impressive cosmetics line from Poland. Love to use them. They are better then those in Wallgreens or CVS and much cheeper to :) P

This is one of the better delis in the area. They always have fresh meat and bread available. I love coming here on Saturdays to get a piece of cake, ps. this is when the most is available and most fresh. The parking can get a bit hectic especially during the rush hours. Try some of the Polish sodas that they offer.

Polish friend of mine who lives out this way told me about this neighborhood store. It has baked goods, tremendous deli department, and large selection of grocery items. Moderate selection of prepared foods. I don’t speak Polish, but I was able to get what I was looking for.

If you want authentic Polish style foods in Chicago, this is the place. The meats, sausage and deli preparations are excellent. Also, fresh old world breads, sauerkraut and pickles in a barrel and friendly service. Without question, I’d recommend it to a friend. Worth the drive from Evanston for me. Bob
