I bought pepe’s special on taco I have pay for hot sauce and peppers that bad and taco cost more then one on 95 th

I’m originally from California, and I have to say, these were the best tacos I’ve ever had. The food here is sooo good!!! It doesn’t look inviting from the outside but man!!! I just can’t stop thinking about the food I got from here!

I’d like to express the reason that I’m giving them three stars. I actually like the food in this place, however, the service could have been better.
1. On one occasion, the cashier failed to give me a receipt. After I asked for it, she printed another out and indicating that she was doing me a favor ’cause she had given me my original one. No she didn’t.
2. I placed a take-​out order. I was tired and didn’t feel like waiting. When I got there, the order was not done. Guess what??? They hadn’t even started it. It was overlooked. I could have forgiven this IF they had apologized and taken accountability — which they didn’t. When I reminded them that this was a call-​ahead order that should have been ready, the guy behind the counter only nodded. Again, no apology, accountability, or incentive. To me that said a lot.
Usually, I have come to find that it’s the norm with this place. If they say 15 minutes, expect that even 30 minutes later the order is NOT ready.
I feel like I’m chained to this place. In other words, in spite of the bad review the food is really good and the only Mexican place of its kind in our neighborhood.

This used to be my favorite Pepes until today. While the tacos were good, the service was tacky. I ordered 5 tacos, they charged me for 6, when I told them the order was wrong, they wanted to open my food & take a taco out just to throw it away! Now how petty is that! I have never been so angry at a person for throwing food away just to prove a point. Go back to your own neighborhood with that petty bullshit! All these hungry people in the world.

No! No! Do not go to this Pepe’s! Grungy, grimy, sketchy and slow. No one should fear for their life for the sake of tacos. It feels like a dungeon inside, and the location does not have good energy. Beware!

The food at this restaurant definitely exceeded my expectations. Each bite was packed with a truckload of flavor, while still remaining to be reasonably priced. The setup inside the restaurant did allow for a descent amount of seating room, but depending on what style of lighting you prefer you might prefer to take yours to go.

Good food! Clean place!

You it’s so ridiculous that you have to buy your hot sauce for the tacos they have stop this are going some were else

Not bad… Good salsa… However overpriced food… There are other places that are much better
