Some co-workers and I came here for lunch and had a decent meal. Décor: It is a fast-Chinese food place so that isn’t much to look at. Seriously, picture a fast food burger place only serving Chinese food — everything is right out in front so you can see it, they offer free tastes, and everything is quite clean. There are a decent amount of tables and the whole place is well lit and taken care of, for the most part. Bathroom: unknown Staff: The food servers and the cashier were all smiling and very friendly. Food: Look, it isn’t a P.F. Chang’s but it is decent. There are certainly better places but this was pretty tasty. We had an assortment of things, but I had the Orange Chicken, the spicy Beef, and lo mien plus a chicken egg roll. I enjoyed my food. Value: The prices are not bad at all, esp because the servings are pretty sizable. While I might not return often, I’d have another meal here if I had the taste for it.

In the present age, Chinese food has become more popular. There are a lot of common Chinese fast food style restaurants in Chicago, this is named Panda Express. I have been to this restaurant many times. I was attracted by their advantages, for example fast and free drinks. But the foods are just good. Last time, I went to the restaurant with my friends was last Sunday because that day was the Chinese Mother’s Day. It is a big festival in China. We wanted to eat Chinese food that day. I have been in Chicago almost one year and I always see the Panda Express on the street. My friends suggest to me that the restaurant is very good. This restaurant has a lot of tasty dishes. My favorite one is Beijing beef. I think that food is very tasty, which make from some beef and chili. If you go to this restaurant you must to try this dish.
There are a large number of dishes at the restaurant. This website has the menu. You can check that on the first page. That restaurant is a Chinese fast food restaurant so the serve is very common to that like McDonald’s and KFC. The environment is very good so the restaurant is very clean and you can eat very safely.
The address of this restaurant is 302 S Wells Chicago, IL60610. I will show the picture.

First day of spring break and of all the places kids chose to eat lunch here! Chow mien, orange chicken and shrimp on the kids menu comes with free drink and chocolate chip cookies. Service was quick and food was not too greasy.

Everyone gets the orange chicken for a reason. The rest of the food at Panda isn’t much better than you can get from the frozen food section at Trader Joe’s. However, I find the staff at this location to be very friendly and there’s rarely ever a line. If I want my food immediately from a clean place with friendly people, this is a good bet. The food here is usually very fresh, the people are nice, the serving size is perfect, and the service is fast. If you like Panda, this is a good choice for takeout.

I don’t know what was more disappointing: the fact that the Surf & Turf had ONE piece of shrimp and three pieces of beef, or the cooks who were sitting around making kissy noises/hollering as I walked by. Digusting.

I never knew there was a Panda Express here! Or maybe I did but my tunnel vision just got in the way. Anyways, I know what good Chinese food tastes like, and this wasnt really authentic Chinese food, but for a quick bite for lunch, this place does the job. We arrived around 11:45am and it wasnt very crowded at all. 30 minutes later though the place was packed! Service was fast and the portions they give you are fairly large. I just wish the food wasnt so salty! Relatively affordable as well, less than $ 7 for 2 entrees and rice/noodles.

A random find! As random as random can be. The decision to walk along the famous Loop landed us on the door step of Panda Express! A friging Chinese fast food joint.Unbelievable. It may not be the swanky new upper class place to eat at, but the food is certainly delicious! And did I mention cheap? :) The service is like Mc donalds and KFC. The Logo is so coool!!! Pandddaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa…

One of my favorite Chinese fast food chains — you always know you’ll get consistent quality. It’s not gourmet, but for $ 6.75+tax, you walk out with lo mein and rice, orange chicken, and Beijing beef. Awesome.

Good food for a Panda food chain but difficult to understand them sometimes. They tend to get crowded quickly, so plan accordingly.

Like any Panda Express it has good chinese fast food. We complete the survey and fill out the survey code at the back of each receipt and this way you can get an Entrée free everytime you purchase @ Panda. So I try something new everytime with my free entrée item. They have good Orange Chicken, Spring rolls, Cashew Chicken, pot stickers

For those of us who work in the loop and sometimes need a quick bite during lunch, Panda Express is not a bad option. Although the menu consists of options of Americanized Chinese food, what I like about this place is the fact that at least the food is not dripping with heavy seasonings and oil. I am not a fan of dripping greasy any kind of food… unless you are at a state fair! The way it works: 1) You select the starch(rice or noodles), 2) You select a number of entrees to go with your dish. My favorites include Orange Chicken, Beijing Beef, Stir Fried Vegetables. 3) You have the option to purchase a drink.

It’s a Chinese fast food chain and that’s exactly what you should expect. Edible food dished up with a side of rice, noodles, or veggies. If you like the standard American Chinese(orange chicken, beef and brocolli) then you’ll love this place. It’s good for a quick meal just like all other fast food joints but don’t take anyone here who actually wants Chinese. I always get the black pepper chicken when I eat here. The Beijing beef is good as well. Get the veggies with your meal… it will make you feel better about yourself and justify the sausage sandwich you had for breakfast.

It’s very hard to write reviews for large franchises. I’ve loved Panda Express for many many years, all the way back to growing up in Southern California. But this is a specific location I’ve been to a number of times, so it deserves its own review — just separate from Panda Express overall? That’s a challenge. Panda Express is awesomeness, pure and simple. There are just days when you crave Chinese food that really isn’t Chinese food. Do you know? If you do, then you’ve probably had Panda Express and liked it — if you don’t, then I suggest you try Panda Express anyway and you’ll learn in time how to acquire that specific craving. So this location starts off with 4 stars already. I won’t jump a review up to 5 stars based on franchise alone. It starts off on a good foot, because the food is almost consistently awesome and the foodstuffs therein are adequately priced as well. But this location just has so many snags that I’m bumping it down a star. The servers here have messed up my orders because of a communication barrier. I really don’t understand that, when I’m only saying the names of the foods that are right there. It’s not like an authentic Chinese restaurant where there’s a huge difference between«lo mein», «war mein» and«chow mein» and how you’re pronouncing it can create a miscommunication. When your three options are«white rice», «fried rice» and«chow mein» and I choose the«chow mein» option, I do not expect to be served fried rice upon picking up my order. But that’s happened. The other large issue with this place is watching them fill up a take-out box and never pressing down or anything, so by the time you get home with your take-out, it’s all sunk to the bottom and you realize you’ve been given about half the container’s volume and the rest is expensive AIR. Now multiply that by four(because I order BIG when I order for my household) and you’re quite effectively being gypped. The staff also isn’t all that friendly, in my honest opinion. But I have to admit that with a face like mine and the tendency t consistently order huge amounts of food, they at least RECOGNIZE me. Again, the«friendliness» really isn’t there, but at least they’ll nod their heads because they know«the fat man who loves Orange Chicken and Beijing Beef and Chow Mein» is back. And then they give me fried rice instead. So down to three stars you go. The food is still delicious, when you get what you’ve asked for and if you’re lucky enough to get what you’ve paid for at this location. (Also, the last time I attempted to eat here, they told me they were closing early for the day at 5pm even though they’re supposed to be open until 7pm.)

Fast food chinese offerings in the Loop leave much to be desired. But, for fast food, Panda is really not that bad. The orange chicken is always fresh because everyone puts it in their combo and the fact that you can opt for a one item bowl is nice(the two item is so much food I just end up feeling like a pig — but I still get it 50% of the time!) I like to go with the two item combo and get white rice and noodles with either the orange chicken or the string bean chicken. The place always has a long line, but in the tradition of the«soup nazi», have your money ready and know what you want because they MOVE the line along. I also love the trough sized drinks. A medium mountain dew can seriously mess with your caffeine intake and power you through the rest of the day!

It tastes good. There is no MSG. It’s across the street from the office and it’s cheap. I try to make it there once a week to get the orange chicken and vegatables with fried rice. If I’m feeling wild and crazy I may substitute the vegetables with the broccoli beef. Woot!

POTSTICKERS! woot! Y’no, every now and then you just get a craving. or someone starts a thread and it gets you to thinking about a certain food, alot. The food is good, the people that work here are nice — and it’s FAST! I work in the building and can get in and out of Panda’s in record time and I still have time to eat!

Good americanized chinese food. It’s fresh but fake. Whatever, it tastes good. Their mandarin and orange chicken is solid. Guess I’m whitewashed enough that it fulfills my occasional craving for asian food.

It’s a Panda Express, whaddyaknow. The food is, y’know, alright. The standard combo for me is the 2 entrée mixup with lo mein noodles, sweet ‘n sour pork and bbq pork. It’s a nice combination of sweet and savory and greasy. A nice big cherry coke to wash it all down with and your meal is complete! So yeah, Panda Express. Go if you really need the fast food Chinese treatment but don’t expect the world. Just a meal.
