Safe bet for traditional treats, needs some refinement Pros: milk based ice cream water based ice cream sliced fruits with hot pepper Cons: expediency presentation, technique menu that tries to be all things to all people… in high school Tips: If the line is at the door, it’s a 20 min. wait(no matter how simple your order) You come here for cones, bars, and slight modifications to traditional treats. I’ve had great experiences with those. At $ 1.75 per they add up but they’re great on flavor. Cleanliness is acceptable given the high amount of foot traffic. The menu is rife with all sorts of ideas that were probably ok in concept. The execution is mostly average: Fritos and hot sauce in a bag with fork, frozen treats in cups doused with sprinkles, and many hurriedly prepared items. Service at the counters can be very friendly and sympathetic — very much appreciated. It’s evident that the staff is trying very hard to be quick and friendly. Too bad the staff in the back isn’t as thoughtful: dirty joggers, flip flops, and quite unwelcoming. I hope they’re not touching any of the ingredients. Overall it’s not bad. They’re trying to cater to many tastes but I usually find that’s not necessary. Perhaps if they slimmed down the menu it would help them focus more on quality.

This place is the best. Vampiros4life. Long lines especially in the summer but totally worth it. I enjoy it especially in the winter because of the shorter lines. There is a wait if it’s packed and you order a lot or you don’t. 5 – 15 min tops They’ve been lacking on the yogurts. The put like about half apples in the cup more than the rest of the fruit. Nachos or hot chips with cheese? Not nachos. The chips are stale especially by the end of the day and they also lack on the cheese. They put more cheese on the hot chips. I’ve haven’t had they’re food but it’s an ice cream shop. I think they should just stick to drinks and ice cream and junk. Other than that the place is great but there is limited seating when it gets packed. I recommend the yogurt with the fruit and stuff, your choice of topping and the vampiro, my fav!

Paleta de leche de coco is my drug. I think about the deliciousness day and night. Having this place walking distance is like a double edge sword. Most of their dessert treats and aguas are great. Although sometimes their agua de Jamaica is a bit too sweet. Their service has room for growth. Service is a hit or miss. One item I will never have from this place is their elote en vaso. They can never get the butter and mayonnaise ratio correct.

My best friend and I decided to make a trip and get some yummy ice cream and chips with cheese. Ice cream was soooo good. Downfall is that they took forever to get everything together.

The line can be long at times, but it sure is worth waiting for. Best fruit yogurts! Tortas de pierna, and strawberry malts!

The yogurts is good but you have to ordered without hair.

This place keeps getting better and better Many places like this in this hood but this is by far the best. I go there pretty often and on my most recent visit(around 9:45 pm) there was a line out the door. Really that good. Why an update? Well, they have an ever growing menu and it could be overwelming to decide what you want. But on the other hand you will surely find something of your liking. Some of the items are icecream, icecream bars… As I pause to think about their menu I realize that it is more extensive that I thought… fresh fruit water, tortas, hot dogs and burgers. Some weird items like: hot chips and nacho cheese, the other day I tried a vampire for the first time. It was crazy good, try to have your taste buds get a hold of this combination: mango ice cream, chopped fresh mango, a squeeze of lime juice topped with chamoy(salty-sweet-sour-spicy tamarind based chutney) this vampire thing is crazy good and a contradiction of flavors party in your mouth that some how works great and will have addicted from the first taste. Tortas de pierna are so simple but so good. They also have burgers, but I have not had them and will not likely get them. Malt shakes, ice cream shakes, even some flan and cakes. Separate paragraph for their yogurt and fresh fruit. Weird name that Mexicans gave to this combination«atomico». Wide array of fresh fruit to choose from: apple, strawberry, mango, banana, guayaba, grapes; in a plain or flavored(strawberry, vanilla, pecan) yogurt topped with granola, chopped pecans and/or raisins. I like it but not but would not kill anyone for it. I did notice that about 50% of their customers get this. As said before, huge menu, explore something different and you will for sure find something of your liking here. Crazy long lines sometimes, but worth every minute of the wait
