Visited this location last night and I ate some of the best steak tacos I had in a long time. I also had some really good carnitas tacos and my friend had a burrito. Its hard to find a place that serves a perfectly good steak taco. Well this is the place. I only order mine with cilantro and onions. I liked that they DON’T microwave the tortillas either. The green sauce works fine. Didn’t try the red though. They put onions on their burrito & it looked too messy.(minus one star) They ID to use debit/credit…(No biggie) Parking is street parking and I found a spot right in front. You can also buy carnitas, barbacoa and chicharron by the lb. Next time I will order the same thing. Steak and Carnita tacos. They are up there with the best in Chicago!

Finally tried them. Got 3 steak tacos with cheese, onion, crema and cilantro and lime. They are neck and neck with zacotaco. Zacotaco is a tad bit better. Zacos char grilled steak wins. Paco has better Red sauce though. Called ahead, food was ready when I arrived. No service complaints and food was right.

Went here late evening and they were out of so many things like chicken. I got the carne asada tacos and was unimpressed. The meat was dry and a little burnt. On the plus side, they were a good size and packed. Make sure you take your I.D. if you’re paying with card.

Many years ago my Dad use to take me to La Internacional on Ashland for tacos de asada. We loved them there. I’m not close the La Internacional any longer so I wanted to fix my craving for good, tasty, juicy, well marinated tacos. So I tried this place and it did not disappoint!

Frequent this spot. Carnitas are on point and steak Tortas are bomb! Not expensive either. No Rice and beans here though. Mainly taco joint with a few other options

I am extremely picky when it comes to Mexican food, nothing ever quite tastes as good as my families homemade food. However, Pacos knows Tacos! These babies are always on point. Without a doubt the best tacos on the south side!!!

I ordered over $ 50 in food to go and they still wanted to charge me extra for more sauce and limes. The steak tacos are really good the service was poor because the lady barley understood what I was saying on the phone. The burrito had raw onions which I rarely see on any burritos from most Mexican restaurants. They do not sell chips rice or guac. I would stick with the tacos over the burrito.

Good taco and burrito place, kinda limited selection, no guacamole. But good basic place. I tried the Carnitas Burrito which was good, a little greasy. I didn’t expect to pay for it the next day but I did. My friend had the chicken tacos which were okay. The thing that stood out for me was the hot sauce; verde or roja was good and filled with pepper seeds which I like. It was nice and hot, and over all the flavor was good. I’ll be back when the mood strikes me.

7÷4÷15(check-in) — Outstanding barbacoa(beef) and carnitas(pork) sold by the pound. Very efficient customer service to get you out quick.

Best tacos in Chicago. I know a lot of people say that but no one really can compare with these guys. They don’t bother with other traditional mexican dishes like enchiladas or bistec a la mexicana. Here you get your tacos, tortas, and burritos. And boy do they do them well. The Asada is perfect and barbacoa is authentic. Not too greasy but full of flavor. People think that zacatacos is better but Pacos does it better. Dont believe me, this place is packed on the weekends. Try it and you will agree.

I don’t know how this place has four stars… my love and I came in on a Sunday evening with a craving for Mexican food. I ordered three chicken tacos and my love order a chicken tostada and chicken taco. 1. The lady could not understand English. I understand that it’s a Mexican restaurant and I’m all for being multilingual but this is America and English is the main language. It’s very upsetting. 2. The order was wrong. We were given a steak tostada instead of chicken, my love can’t eat red meat. 3. I purchased a jarrito and I went back up to the register to get it opened as the lady there before didn’t offer to open it. There was a woman already ordering so I waited patiently. the woman at the register was having a whole conversation with her… 4. The atmosphere was terrible… it was outrageously loud and the people with children needed to watch their kids… At this point we just wanted to leave. We grabbed a to go container and left. On the positive side, our food was delicious and it was prepared very quickly but it’s not enough to make me come back… we tipped too.

Although this place does not look comfy, their tacos are what brings costumes from opening to closing. I normally do not go out for lunch, but when I do I order me up some tacos for a quite yet fulfilling lunch. Their asada is their main taco, grilled deliciously in between two delicious tortillas with onion and cilantro, their taco is what has made Pacos Tacos so famous. But do not stop their, there are other tacos to explore. Personally I find that their barbacoa taco is delicious. It is soft and juicy, and literally falls apart in your mouth. The star is without a doubt their tacos de carnitas(pork). Carnitas can always be a hit or miss, however their tacos are so delicious, it makes me think I am in D.F. again. They use carne masisa, cooked so well and seasoned that you cannot just have one. If you love salsa, their salsa verde is great, however the red salsa gives it more of a smokey taste. If you pass by Pulaski and 60th please stop by for some food eats. –José

Meh. Really cheap tasting. And who doesn’t carry ice in their restaurant. Seriously…

Excellent tacos de carne asada. This establishment is bigger than their restaurant counterpart on Archer. The carne asada is amazingly delicious. I am not impressed with their tacos Al Pastor due to the heavy simmered pork. It’s a matter of preference and I prefer my pork tacos moist, not soupy. The other items(tortas, burritos) seem to take some of the meat flavor away with the addition of crème, lettuce, cheese, etc. Their tacos de carnitas is another«must have.»

Best tacos in town! I always get steak tacos, just cilantro and onions. Their sauces are spicy but really tasty. I tried their chicken torta and it is delicious. Meat is moist in a red sauce and it is a chicken breast meat not chicken thighs that they use. Service is fast and you learn some numbers in a different language since they call out the order numbers in Spanish. They are very helpful and this has never been a problem to make sure you get the correct order. Prices are very good. Food is fresh and made to order.

If you want some really good tacos, this is the place to go. They have a variety of choices of meats and also see carnitas all week. I have been going there since I was little and now take my kids there. Definitely recommend this place to all!!!

I mean, if you want Tacos specifically, you found a great spot. plenty of options and overall great tasting meats. Seriously, they do make Tortas and other dishes but trust me, the place is the Bomb for your Taco craving. People don’t get that a traditional Mexican Taco is just meat, cilantro and Cebolla! I come here plenty of times and this once, only this once I sat next to a couple that seemed nice but then they started complaining about how they only had two salsas… People! Really, how many salsas do you want?! Green and Red is what they got and they are great if you ask me, you want some more spice, ask and they will give you some Chiles Toreados, try them, see if you can handle that. I love this place, I would and have recommended this place to everyone I know so give it a shot, you’ll be surprised.

The taste of their meat is pretty good. They are very good accommodating special requests like if you’re vegan or vegetarian. I have tried their tacos, quesadillas and other plates and they all were pretty tasty. They’re nice, friendly and accommodating. You you can sit at their bar(no alcohol served) but most people just take out. They also have the option to buy their meat by the pound which is nice. Their prices are pretty competitive and reasonable. The girls taking the orders are fast and efficient. It’s sort of a Mexican fast food place.
