Poison. Food tasted like freeze dried garbage. Apps were horrible. Main course disgusting. Tasted like cardboard.

I have eaten at this PF Chang’s many times over the years. The quality seems to come and go. Sometimes the food is delicious, and other times just mediocre. My wife and i ordered food for delivery the other day, and it was a major disappointment. We ordered Kung Pao Chicken(dry, overcooked, nearly flavorless), Sesame Chicken(better, but not great), Shrimp Fried Rice(greasy, no scallions, and almost no fried eggs), and white rice(this was fine). We also ordered eggrolls(small, not much flavor). and a dessert(a small chocolate cake with some fruit and sauce — this was delicious). Overall, the portions were small and the prices were high. My wife made a note in our«Delivery Wow» book to not order from PF Chang’s again. Unfortunately, I agree. This restaurant needs better quality control and the chef needs to pay more attention to consistency.

This was a very disappointing experience, both food and service wise. We dined in on 1÷1÷2016 around 7:30, trying to have a nice meal downtown to kick off the new year, and it ended up being just terrible, but at least there’s 364 days left for another experience to somehow take the reward for the worst of the year. Cody was our server and was attentive and good until after our order was placed, and then all but disappeared, leaving us wanting for refills very often. We ordered the chicken lettuce wraps, which took about 25 minutes to arrive, but they were at least delicious as always. And then Our entrees took quite awhile to come after that, and my boyfriends dish was missing items, and my Pad Thai seemed to have somehow not been done with the sauce, the noodles were almost white and the dish had no flavor, and I regrettably had to send it back, even though I was already starving from the wait. When the dish came back, they apologized and gave me a little bowl of extra Pad Thai sauce on the side, and the lady mentioned she had them kick up the spiciness so it wouldn’t taste bland, which I did not at all request or appreciate since its not a spicy dish, and I can’t handle spicy food. After a few bites I just could not eat it due to the added spiciness and had to just ask the server to get rid of it when asked if I wanted a box because I barely touched it. We asked, but never had a manager address the situation at all, or have anything done to alleviate the bad experience. I won’t say I’ll never go back, because I typically have a good experience there, but it definitely isn’t something that is gonna jump out to me anytime soon.

For such an expensive restaurant, I was disappointed at the quality of the main dishes. Greasy, and the sauces tasted cheap. Also, while the waitress was very pleasant she didn’t really show that she was listening and ignored a couple of my comments. I will say the food was fast to come which was great, and the coconut cooler(non-alchololic) and banana springrolls were delicious. They are good at sweet desserts, not so good at the main dishes.

I loved everything here great design of the restaurant, the only thing I didn’t like was that the waiter wasn’t knowledgable on what was on the menu, l work night shift I’m not sure what that is… Is what he said, but he was friendly. I would go back

I like this location, there are windows all around so you can sit and watch passersby. It’s right underneath the Hilton Garden Inn. Service was good — prompt, friendly, professional. Unfortunately, I was unimpressed with the food. I got the orange chicken and my husband got the fried rice. Both were just OK. It was disappointing because we expected more from them for the price. I guess I’m just not a fan of P.F. Chang’s. As far as service, cleanliness, and speed of food delivery, they were on point.

I’ve always been a fan of P.F. Changs. True they are pricier than what I spend for most Chinese type food, but at least the food is yummy. Last time I had their food it was through delivery. I went with the orange chicken and brown rice. Food was hot, tasty, and portion sizes are fairly big. I always split my meal in half for the next day when I order from here. They also have quite a vast menu for those that need gluten free.

We sat at the bar this time and the service was good and fast. We enjoyed the dishes(Pf Changs is pretty standard from location to location). I had a new dish, the lobster fried rice, and it was ok. The spice on the lobster itself was spicy but the rest of the dish was bland. I wouldn’t recommend the dish but I do recommend Pf Changs for a chain Resturant meal.

The food and service was overall very good. The choices on the Menu was great they even offered a gluten free option. The drinks were good and they offered special«cocktail«options. I would come back to try other things in the menu and possibly dessert

OKYUMMMM-MEEE! period! I know people get all technical that’s this is not authentic Chinese food, blah blah blah… who cares! my meal was DELICIOUS! Crab wontons, beef with broccoli, everything was so fresh, flavorful and tasty. Sangria was also on point. I live in the DC area and never think to go to P.F. Chang’s but my experience here has changed my mind.

I used to go to pf changs all the time! I went the other day to see if it was still as Kigali as I remember it, and like most things, it wasn’t. They had some great classics that make me happy to see haven’t changed like the Mongolian beef but they also have some new dishes that are delicious like the bang bang shrimp(I’m a fan). I honestly would t go back to this particular one just because maybe the one that I usually go to in Miami is better… I will probably give that location one more chance before officially leaving it in the past. This location in downtown Chicago however is so beautiful and clean! Nice street view and in a great location! If you’re going for a more«Americanized» Chinese feel, this is definitely the place to go if you’ve got some money to spend … If you’ve become spoiled by your local Chinatown and are a fan of authentic food, go for the date night experience and continue onto your local mom and pop eatery! I remember this place was associated with pei wei. I feel the same in that I will also give this place one more try before never looking back lol

Love their lunch specials. I get the honey chicken, egg drop soup, egg roll and crab Rangoon. I’m pregnant so yes all of that is just for me and baby! Delicious.

Easy to get to location and clean place. it is a bit different of a layout than other PF Changs as its 2 stories. We had a very long day and couldn’t decide on a local place to eat, so to PF Changs we went. The service was good, the food hit the spot and somehow we wound up getting out of there extremely cheap. We did just have chicken fried rice and some spring rolls. Good experience overall!

Great service. Was here for lunch. Haven’t been here for many years, and remembered it to be very salty dishes. Definitely come for ambience versus the food. Saigon wraps were bland and also the rice wrap was too tough. Cod and Korean bbq were both very salty. Definitely needed the rice to counter that. Did not have any cocktails, but only would come back if the group I was with wanted Asian cuisine with cocktails.

I had the worst experience. Not with the food The food was delicious as usual. But the waiter was horrible. I don’t usually write bad reviews but she deserved it. She was very good when we came. We informed her that we have a flight to catch and we beed to leave on 2:40 She pretended she cant hear us When we asked for the check it took around 10 minutes and my friend had to go back and ask for it. Then we asked for take away boxes and she asked us if we wanted 3 containers and we agreed. We had one only. And she immediately apologized. I think she wanted us to be late for some reason. And she didn’t respect us even when i was so nice to her. Sorry for the liming review. I would not return to this branch

I’m reading the reviews of this place and the only thing that comes to mind is… what universe do these people live in to believe that this food is even marginally Asian. I’ll level with you, the place really deserves 2 stars because the food is tasty. I mean, I didn’t take a bite of my food and want to vomit. My problem is that we ordered pad thai and ma po tofu. If you were to sit those dishes in front of me and ask me what they are supposed to be, I couldn’t tell you in a million years. First of all, ma po tofu isn’t fried. It’s soggy and swimming in a mouth numbing sauce. Oh, and when I look at you and say, «make it spicy» and you wink back, but I hold onto the menu with a reiteration, «seriously, make it spicy,» that food better at least make me reach for a glass of water. Really. It wasn’t spicy at all. And, pad thai is supposed to taste like peanuts. Yet again, I would be completely perplexed during a game of «Name That Dish». I guess, if you want to tell your friends, «OMFG I love Chinese food,» but you can’t use chopsticks, come here. I’m obviously a harsh critic since I have more chopsticks than forks at my house and probably cook more authentic food. But, if you want authentic, this city has many more options than this: Cocoro for Japanese, Chengdu Impression for Sichuanese, and hundreds of sushi joints that are run by Thai for… Thai(don’t ask). Feel free to come here and drop $ 15 for a plate that you could get in Chinatown for $ 8 and is much tastier, not to mention authentic. By the way, if you’re wondering why I ever went here, it’s because I had a gift card. I was able to order an extra few beers without breaking the bank…

I was invited to P.F. Chang since a friend had a gift certificate and it’s been years since I’ve been to the restaurant. Nothing has changed — that I can remember. We were seated right away on the main floor instead of on the second level. Our booth was right next to the open kitchen and the wait staff area which we didn’t mind. We had ordered two(2) Egg Rolls for an appetizer. For the main entrée, I had ordered the Beef and Broccoli while my dinner date had ordered the Pad Thai with Shrimp. The Egg Rolls were brought to us and they had looked great. My egg roll was great but unfortunately, my dinner date’s roll us luke warm. The server overheard our conversation, and very apologetic about it and took the egg roll back to the kitchen, which was not necessary, but she did. The manager had brought us two new egg rolls and again agonized, she was so great about this situation. The manager had really did an outstanding job. The food runner had brought us our main entrees. Both of us had no issues with the our meals. Excellent! Throughout our meal, the server would check in with us. The meals were so good, we didn’t have room for dessert. I would return and recommend this restaurant.

This is a nice restaurant. Came in on a cold winter weekday and my party and I were able to be seated immediately. The server was also the bar tender. At first I thought she was too quick or rushing, but I quickly realized she was managing a lot and was very attentive throughout the dining experience. She grew on me and I think she did an excellent job for the load she had. The food temperature was nice ad food was delicious. I had the ginger chicken and my fried had the honey chicken. The price was decent and for the portion size. I will probably return :-)

Our visit to PFC today was amazing! After getting a belittling lecture from some lady with piss-poor customer service skills at Top Wok we stumbled upon PFC. Thank goodness we did because they totally took care of us. As soon as we walked in I approached the hostess stand, explained my vegan diet and she, with full product knowledge, already had detailed dishes that would meet my needs. Our server, Kevin, was amazing as he had 100 percent product knowledge as well and was able to offer many, many options in an Asian restaurant that knows how to properly cook food for their customers without sacrificing the quality of the dish. I ordered the Buddhist Bowl which was amazing, fresh and full of flavor. I’m so glad that Top Wok turned our business away in arrogance because we found PFC to be so satisfying. We will definitely be back and recommend coming here. I know PFC is a chain restaurant but maybe that’s the key in this case. Thank you, PFC of downtown Chicago, you really stepped up when someone else wanted to be a jerk.

Great lunch visit to the PF Chang’s. Our server was great and she really helped make it a better visit than a typical visit. She was just the right amount of friendly and always had a smile on her face. That makes a huge difference to customers! Food was typical Chang’s and I stuck with my usual lettuce wraps and orange chicken. Solid meal and a decent price. Nice place when you need a reliable standby.
