Unique selections. Great gift items. Awesome, high-end brands. I’ve purchased my little baby M some beautiful items here including iridescent hot pink/magenta stretch leggings and a super, super soft and cuddly blanket. Only down side is the price is often steep.

Before I had a kid of my own this was one of my favorite spots to buy trendy baby clothes as gifts. I assumed I’d buy a ton of Baby R’s clothes here, but everytime I go in there I find it to be extremely expensive for clothes she’s going to outgrow within a few months. And I have a tough time justifying spending $ 80 on a pair of designer jeans for her when I can get the same ones on gilt groupe, myhabit, zulilly, etc for $ 20. I have occasionally found some good deals on their sale rack, but I even find the sale rack to be a bit overpriced. They certainly have cute stuff so it’s worth the occasional splurge and/or a great place to buy a gift, but my bank account would seriously suffer if I shopped here all the time. My back would also suffer from frequent shopping trips here because they don’t have an elevator, which means if I’m shopping with my baby I’m carrying her up the stairs and around the store. They do have a little area downstairs to leave strollers, although leaving my stroller in an unlocked area makes me a tad bit nervous.

They had a good selection. Most of it I could get on the west coast, but they had a couple if pieces I hadn’t seen before. The young lady who assisted us was nice. The owners paid us no mind and seemed to be too caught up in their own worlds to acknowledge our presence, even when one of them bumped into me. Minus 1 star for not having a bathroom with a diaper changing table. It’s a baby boutique people, kind of a must-have. Maybe it’s a west coast thing, but all baby boutiques have them. Overall a 2.5 — 3 star place.

I love a good sale in this place… and they have GOOD sales.(Which don’t get it twisted, doesn’t mean CHEAP). These trendy frocks for kids make my daughter, niece and nephew soooo happy that I can’t resist a splurge here and there. They have an active but not annoying mailing list, so go to their site and sign up. You’ll then be in the club – the famous Bag Sale, Grandparent’s Day, Sox appearances, and much more.

Madison & Friends is pretty pricey, but has adorable, boutique-style children’s clothing for both boys and girls of all ages. They have a large selection of clothing, gifts, and accessories.

My sister had a baby and I went crazy in this store! I bought the cutest designer clothes for my little neice, which I’m sure she’ll grow out of in a few weeks. However, the clothes in here are way too adorable to pass up! This is the perfect place to buy a baby gift!
